Objective To observe the impact of ultrasonic image quality on the consistency of artificial intelligence(Al)assisted diagnosis system and manual measurements of biological indicators of developmental dysplasia of hip(DDH).Methods Hip ultrasonic data of 75 DDH and 345 non-DDH children were retrospectively analyzed,and the quality of ultrasonic images were subjectively scored.An evaluation model of ultrasonic image quality was constructed based on 140 ultrasonic images acquired from 140 cases(group A,containing 25 DDH and 115 non-DDH)using entropy weighting method,the weight of anatomic structures and impact factors related to DDH were obtained.The comprehensive image quality scores of other ultrasonic images acquired from 280 cases(group B,including 50 DDH and 230 non-DDH)were calculated,and the images in group B were classified into grade A,B and C in descending order.The consistency of AI and manual measurements of DDH biological indicators in group B was assessed.Results The weight of each anatomic structure and impact factors of DDH obtained with the model were as follows:The lower edge of iliac branch＞ilium＞glenoid labrum＞bony margin＞femoral head＞motion artifacts.In group B,grade A was observed in 67(9 DDH and 58 non-DDH),grade B was found in 160(26 DDH and 134 non-DDH),while grade C was noticed in 53(15 DDH and 38 non DDH)images.Except for β,femoral head coverage(FHC)and femoral head length diameter,the consistencies between AI and manual measurements of other indicators of DDH were grade A＞B＞C.In group B,AI and manual measurements were more consistent in DDH than in non-DDH cases.Conclusion Ultrasonic image quality affected the consistency between AI and manual measurements of biological indicators of DDH.When image quality was not good enough,further attention should be paid to measurement of FHC and sizes of femoral head.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the intervention effect and potential mechanism of breviscapine on hepatic fibrosis （HF） in rats based on the transforming growth factor-β（1 TGF-β1）/Smad2/extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase 1（ERK1） and Kelch-like epichlorohydrin-associated protein 1（Keap1）/nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2（Nrf2）/heme oxygenase-1（HO-1） pathways. METHODS Totally 60 rats were randomly divided into normal control group， model group， breviscapine low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups （5.4， 10.8， 21.6 mg/kg）， and colchicine group （positive control， 0.45 mg/kg）， with 10 rats in each group， half male and half female. Except for the normal control group， HF model of the other groups was induced by carbon tetrachloride. Subsequently， each drug group was given corresponding medicine by gavage once a day for 28 days. The liver appearance of rats in each group was observed and their liver coefficients were calculated. The levels of alanineaminotransferase （ALT） and aspartate aminotransferase （AST）in serum， those of ALT， AST， superoxide dismutase （SOD），malondialdehyde （MDA） and glutathione peroxidase （GSH- Px） in liver tissue were detected. The liver tissue inflammatory and fibrotic changes were observed. The protein and mRNA expressions of TGF-β1， Smad2， ERK1， Nrf2， Keap1 and HO-in liver tissue were detected. RESULTS Compared with the normal control group， the model group showed large areas of white nodular lesions in the liver， obvious inflammatory cell infiltration and collagen fiber deposition. The body weight， the levels of SOD and GSH-Px in liver tissue， the protein and mRNA expressions of Nrf2 and HO-1 were significantly lowered in the model group （P＜0.05）； the liver coefficient， the percentage of Masson staining positive area， ALT and AST levels of serum and liver tissue， MDA level of liver tissue， the protein and mRNA expressions of TGF-β1， Smad2， ERK1 and Keap1 were significantly increased （P＜0.05）. Compared with the model group， the liver lesions of rats in each drug group were improved， and the above quantitative indexes were generally reversed （P＜0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Breviscapine has a good intervention effect on HF rats， which may be related to inhibiting TGF-β1/Smad2/ERK1 pathway for anti-fibrosis and regulating Keap1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway to inhibit oxidative stress.

Foreign body reactions induced by macrophages often cause delay or failure of wound healing in the application of tissue engineering scaffolds. This study explores the application of nanosilver (NAg) to reduce foreign body reactions during scaffold transplantation. An NAg hybrid collagen-chitosan scaffold (NAg-CCS) was prepared using the freeze-drying method. The NAg-CCS was implanted on the back of rats to evaluate the effects on foreign body reactions. Skin tissue samples were collected for histological and immunological evaluation at variable intervals. Miniature pigs were used to assess the effects of NAg on skin wound healing. The wounds were photographed, and tissue samples were collected for molecular biological analysis at different time points post-transplantation. NAg-CCS has a porous structure and the results showed that it could release NAg constantly for two weeks. The NAg-CCS group rarely developed a foreign body reaction, while the blank-CCS group showed granulomas or necrosis in the subcutaneous grafting experiment. Both matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) were reduced significantly in the NAg-CCS group. The NAg-CCS group had higher interleukin (IL)-10 and lower IL-6 than the blank CCS group. In the wound healing study, M1 macrophage activation and inflammatory-related proteins (inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), IL-6, and interferon-‍γ (IFN-‍γ)) were inhibited by NAg. In contrast, M2 macrophage activation and proinflammatory proteins (arginase-1, major histocompatibility complex-II (MHC-II), and found in inflammatory zone-1 (FIZZ-1)) were promoted, and this was responsible for suppressing the foreign body responses and accelerating wound healing. In conclusion, dermal scaffolds containing NAg suppressed the foreign body reaction by regulating macrophages and the expression of inflammatory cytokines, thereby promoting wound healing.

Objective:A prospective, multicenter randomized controlled clinical research was conducted to explore the diagnostic value of the new optical staining technology for domestic endoscope, spectral focused imaging (SFI) and variable intelligent staining technology (VIST), for gastric precancerous lesions.Methods:Patients who intended to undergo gastroscopy between August 2020 and May 2021 were randomly divided into the white light group and the new optical staining group at the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. A sequential examination method was applied (white light to new optical staining or new optical staining to white light). The endoscopic diagnostic results and the detection results of Helicobacter pylori ( HP) of the two groups were recorded. At the same time, such five variables as gastric mucosal atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, fold enlargement, nodular gastritis and diffuse redness were evaluated for the risk of gastric cancer in the two groups. Results:A total of 419 cases were enrolled, including 208 cases in the white light group and 211 cases in the new optical staining group. Compared with pathological findings, the detection rates of gastric inflammation, atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia and advanced cancer lesions in the white light group were 28.9%, 40.4%, 64.9%, 17.8%, 0.5% and 0.5% respectively; while those in the new optical staining group were 30.8%, 42.7%, 62.6%, 15.2%, 2.8% and 0.5%. There were no significant differences in the detection rates between the two groups ( P>0.05). Compared with pathology, the sensitivity, the specificity, the accuracy, the positive predictive value and the negative predictive value for gastric mucosal atrophy in the white light group were 92.9%, 61.3%, 74.0%, 61.9% and 92.7% respectively and those in the new optical staining group (SFI mode) were 94.4%, 64.5%, 77.3%, 66.4% and 94.0% respectively. The above 5 measures for gastric mucosal intestinal metaplasia were 68.1%, 72.6%, 69.7%, 82.1% and 55.2% in the white light group, and 87.1%, 89.9%, 88.2%, 93.5% and 80.7% in the new optical staining group (VIST mode), with significant difference between the two groups ( P<0.05). In terms of HP infection with 13C-urea breath test ( 13C-UBT) results as the gold standard, the above 5 measures were 90.2%, 84.3%, 87.4%, 86.8% and 88.2% in the white light group and 92.6%, 77.1%, 85.4%, 82.2% and 90.1% in the new optical staining group respectively. The proportion of high-risk gastric lesions in the new optical staining group was higher in cases of a gastric cancer risk score≥ 4 ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The new optical staining technology of domestic endoscopy has higher diagnostic value for gastric mucosal intestinal metaplasia. Gastroscopy is helpful for the detection of precancerous lesions with gastric cancer risk score as a tool. The new optical staining technology of domestic endoscopy is similar to imported endoscopy in diagnosing gastric precancerous lesions and HP infection, which is an effective means to detect gastric mucosal precancerous lesions.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a severe muscular genetic disorder,which is caused by a mutation in the DMD gene encoding the dystrophin protein.The clinical manifestation of DMD is the progressive muscular dystrophy.Myostatin is a negative regulator of skeletal muscle growth and development.In recent years,it has received extensive attention in the treatment of muscle diseases.This review focuses on the structural and activity of myostatin,its regulation of skeletal muscle growth and noval approaches to Myostatin inhibitor in the treatment of DMD.

Objective: To observe the effect of crotonaldehyde long-term exposure on kidney injury in male rats, and to explore the specific mechanism of toxic action. Methods: 32 specific pathogen free healthy adult male wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 rats in each group: high-, moderate-, low-dose groups and a control group. Rats were treated with 8.5, 4.5, 2.5 and 0.0 mg/kg body weight crotonaldehyde by gavage, once a day for consecutive 128 days. After the last treatment, they were sacrificed and separated bilateral kidney. Kidney organ coefficients were calculated and the histopathology changes in kidney were observed by HE staining. The activities of malondialdehyde (MDA) , superoxide dismutase (SOD) , glutathion peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the levels of malaondialdehyde uric acid (UA) , urea nitrogen (BUN) , creatinine (CR) in serum were determined in the same time. Moreover, the levels of interleukin (IL) -6, 8, interferon (IFN) -γ and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) -α in kidney were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Bilateral kidneys in the 8.5 mg/kg group were reduced in size and dark in color. Under the microscope, the major pathology changes of kidneys could be summarized as summarized as protein cast renal tubule, inflammatory cells and lymphocytes infiltration among kidney cortex. Compared with the control group, the weight gain of rats in 8.5 mg/kg group were smaller, and the weight and organ coefficient of kidney in each groups were significant decreased (P<0.05) . With the increasing dosage of crotonaldehyde, the serum BUN and UA levels in 8.5, 4.5 mg/kg groups, CR level in 8.5 mg/kg group were significant increased (P<0.05) .Compared with the control group, the serum MDA level in 8.5 mg/kg group was significant increased (P<0.05) . However, serum SOD activity in 8.5 mg/kg group and GSH-PX activity in 8.5, 4.5 mg/kg groups was significant decreased (P<0.05) . With the increasing dosage of crotonaldehyde, there are upward trend in the kidney IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α, IFN-γ, β-2 microglobulin levels. Compared with the control group, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, β-2microglobulin levels in 8.5, 4.5 mg/kg groups and IL-8 level in 8.5 mg/kg group in kidney were significant increased (P<0.05) . Conclusion Crotonaldehyde could develop the inflammatory factors levels and change the oxidation balance condition in the kidney of male rats, causing the inflammatory and oxidative injures of renal tissues.

Objective: To put forward the suggestion of the occupational contact limit of tributyl phosphate in the air of the workplace. Methods: Data of production and usage, workers' basic information, occupational history, and physical examinations were collected, and the environmental and individual levels of exposure were monitored using fixed-point and individual sampling. The results of the questionnaire and health examination were statistically analyzed using exact probability method of Fisher in the workers exposed to tributyl phosphate and the control group. Results: The results showed that tributyl phosphate was widely distributed in the workplace of production and using enterprises, and the concentration of tributyl phosphate in packaging area was highest at 2.47 mg/m³, and in feeder nose was highest at 2.13 mg/m³. The discomfort symptoms were classified and results showed that tributyl phosphate exposure group of 136 people, all symptoms of 128 people, accounting for 94.44% of the total, the remaining 5.56% of the staff report had psychiatric symptoms or lethargy and irritability skin itching, the control group had no symptoms. There is or not discomfort symptoms in the tributyl phosphate exposure group and the control group was compared with the exact probability of Fisher, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) . The results of healthy physical examination of workers exposed to tributyl phosphate and control group were statistically analyzed by the exact probability method of Fisher. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the results of routine internal medical examination, nervous system examination, skin examination, five senses examination, blood routine, urine routine, lung ventilation, and X ray chest fluoroscopy between the tributyl phosphate exposure group and the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion The workplace permissible time-weighted tributyl phosphate and short-term exposure limit concentrations in China were set at 2.5 mg/m³ and 5 mg/m³, respectively.

Objective To analyze the thickness of cornea and corneal epithelium in healthy subjects by optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA).Methods Totally 100 healthy subjects aged between 20 and 30 years were analyzed by OCTA technique.Using AngioVue OCTA system of retinal imaging mode,and using SSADA algorithm for imaging,the cornea and the corneal epithelium in the central corneal diameter range of 9 mm were measured.The differences of corneal and corneal epithelial thickness in different gender regions were compared.Results In the male and female group,the corneal central total thickness were (559.92 ±33.26) μm and(540.06 ±31.63)μm,and the corneal epithelial thickness were(57.78 ±4.88) μm and(56.88 ±4.57) μm,The total central corneal thickness and central corneal epithelial thickness of the male were greater than those of the female,the difference was statistically significant (t =3.06,2.10;all P ＜ 0.05).The cornea of male was the thickest at S5,S7 and SN9,there were significant differences at S5 and S7 compared with female (t =2.93,2.83;all P ＜ 0.05);The female cornea was the thickest at S5,SN7 and SN9,and the difference was significant at S5 compared with male.The cornea of male subjects was the thinnest at IT,which was statistically significant only at IT5 compared with female subjects in the same area (t =2.02,P ＜ 0.05);The cornea of female subjects was the thinnest at T5,IT7 and T9,which was statistically significant only at T5 and T9 compared with male subjects in the same region (t =2.63,2.20;all P ＜ 0.05);There was significant difference in corneal thickness between male and female at ST (t =3.1 1,2.79,2.33;all P ＜ 0.05).The corneal epithelium was the thickest at IT5,I7,and I9,and the lowest at S5,S7 and S9,and there was no significant difference compared with female in the same region (all P ＞ 0.05).The corneal epithelium of female at the IT5,T7,N9 were the thickest,SN5,S7,S9 were the thinnest;Except for M2 and SN5,there was no significant differences in corneal epithelium between male and female groups (all P ＞ 0.05).Corneal central epithelium accounted for the largest percentage of total corneal thickness,and gradually decreased from inside to outside.Conclusion OCTA can be used to measure the thickness of corneal and corneal epithelial regions.
