Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of tuina plus cupping on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Methods: A total of 100 CFS patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the random number table in the sequence of visit, with 50 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with tuina plus cupping therapy, 3 times a week. The control group was given oral tablets of wild American ginseng lozenges. After 3 months of treatment, the score of fatigue questionnaire scale (FS-14) was observed and the efficacy was evaluated. Results: The total effective rate was 92.0％ in the treatment group, versus 76.0％ in the control group and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the FS-14 scores of the two groups decreased, and the intra-group differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The change of FS-14 score after treatment in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tuina plus cupping is effective for CFS, and can improve fatigue symptoms significantly.

Objective To improve the understanding to transposition of the great arteries with posterior aorta and decrease the clinic misdiagnosis by summarizing their echocardiography features . Methods Echocardiography images were retrospectively reviewed for 7 cases with transposition of the great arteries with posterior aorta who diagnosed in Anzhen Hospital ,and their echocardiography features were summarized .Results In 7 patients ,5 patients had operation ,including 3 for arterial switch operation ,1 for right GLEEN ,1 for right GLEEN and Fortan surgery ,and 2 patients were lost to follow‐up .The echocardiography characters:① Artery short view showed aorta and pulmonary artery existed the half‐surrounding relationship .The aorta was situated posteriorly and the pulmonary artery anteriorly .②Multiple views showed aorta was completely and mostly arised from the right ventricle ,while the pulmonary artery was came off the left ventricle .③ Ventricular septal defects were presented in all cases and aorta could ride the defect of ventricular septal .④ In most cases ,fibrous continuity between the aortic and mitral valve through a ventricular septal defect was found and there was no conus under the aorta .⑤ Some cases could combine the different degree stenosis of the outflow tract of subpulmonary valve and pulmonary valve . Conclusions The connection relationship between two arteries and ventricles can displayed clearly on the long axis view of double outflow tracts of two ventricles under xiphoid process .The acoustic window under the xiphoid process is the key for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the disease .

Objective To improve the prenatal echocardiographic diagnostic accuracy for fetus with isolated mirror-image right aortic arch which combined with vascular ring by analyzing and accumulating its echocardiographic features.Methods Echocardiographic signs were analyzed retrospectively and fetal echocardiographic features were accumulated in 16 cases with prenatal diagnosis of isolated mirror-image right aortic arch with left-side ductus arteriosus which formed vascular ring between January 2014 and February 2016.All cases were confirmed by neonatal echocardiography.Results The fetal echocardiography characters:① In 3-vessel and trachea view,fetal right aortic arch was demonstrated a Ushaped appearance of the great vessels,the right arm of the ‘ U’ represented the aortic arch and its left branch with ductal continuation.② In 3-vessel and trachea view or upper axial mediastinal transverse view,left innominate artery passed straightly to the left of the trachea.Left innominate artery and right-side ductus arteriosus were overlapped and the distance of two vessels was very close.③ In double arch view and longitudinal view for ductus,Left innominate artery did not connect to descending aorta or ductus arteriosus and did not involve in the formation of vascular ring.④ Color Doppler played an important role in diagnosis of this disease.Power Doppler or high-definition imaging easily showed color overflow and wrongly displayed the crossed relationship of left innominate artery with descending aorta as the anatomical connection,and caused the misdiagnosis of this disease as double aortic arch.Conclusions Isolated mirrorimage right aortic arch with vascular ring is not rare in the fetal period.Because ductus arteriosus is large and patent during the prenatal period,it is easily mistaken for the crossed relationship of left innominate artery with descending aorta as the anatomical connection and finally misdiagnoses this anomaly as double aortic arch.The keys to accurate diagnosis of the disease are clearly visualization of the innominate artery and its relationship with descending aorta and ductus arteriosus by scanning different views.

A bacterial strain Eml isolated from contaminated soil of Shengli oil field was identified as Rhodococcus ruber according to its phenotype, physiological and chemical properties, and its 16S rRNA gene sequence. This strain could degrade various polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as well as alkanes in petroleum, and produce bioemulsifier. The results indicated that strain Eml could produce bioemulsifier efficiently when n-hexadecane was used as sole carbon source. The optimal conditions for the synthesis of bioemulsifier were as followed: 10g/L of n-hexadecane, 1g/L of yeast extract, media initial pH 7, and cultivation was carried out at 30℃ on a rotary shaker at 200 rpm. Under these conditions the surface tension of culture decreased to the lowest value, around 30 mN/m, after 1 day, and the emulsifying capacity was 100% . The concentration of bioemulsifier reached to the highest value, around 68 times of CMC , after 5 days' cultivation. The results also showed that the bioemulsifier produced by this strain should be lipid.

Objective To understand health seeking behaviors and influencing factors among freshmen before enrollment in Kunming Medical University in Yunnan Province and to find out the existing medical problems and provide advice to guarantee undergraduates' seeking proper treatment. Methods We used cluster sampling method to select 1044 freshmen whose last digit of student number was singular and questionnaire was used to do the survey which was conducted within 3 months of admission. Statistical methods were descriptive statistics and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results The main reasons for students to see the doctor were acute diseases (29.4%) and common disease dominated by cold and fever (34.9%), most of the students went to the medical institutions because of mild medication which can be treated by taking pills. Family location for rural areas had small number of students to see the doctors, the number of students seek medical services with low income families were larger than the high counterparts;students had poor perceived health status tended to seek medical services. Conclusions Family location, incomes and perceived health status are important factors influencing health seeking behavior. The current medical insurance system for college students could be further improved, and colleges and universities should take appropriate measures to provide the conditions for students to seek proper treatment.

OBJECTIVE Study the role of estrogen receptor (ER)in the inhibition of cell viability and differentiation induced by bisphenol A (BPA)in micro mass culture of rat e mbryonic midbrain(MB) cells.METHODS Micro mass cultures of MB were prepared fro m rat e mbryonic midbrain on gestation day 13.MB cells were exposed to BPA (10 -4 ,10 -6 ,10 -8 ,10 -10 ,10 -12 mol·L -1 )for 5 d.Cell viability was assessed by neutral red uptake test.MB differentiation was detected by he matoxylin staining and i mage analysis.In order to observe the role of ER pathway in the toxicity induced by BPA,cell cultures were co-treated with ICI182780 0.1 n mol·L -1 ,ta moxifen 1 n mol·L -1 and BPA 0.1 mmol·L -1 for 5 d, the cell viability and foci differentiation were detected.Moreover,the protein expression levels of ER in normal e mbryonic brain of gestation day 18,testis tissue fro m adult rats and midbrain cells untreated with BPA were investigated by Western blot.The mRNA expression levels of ER in normal e mbryonic brain of gestation day 13 and gestation day 18,ovary and testis tissue fro m adult rats,and midbrain cells un-treated with BPA were investigated by real-ti me PCR.The mRNA expression levels of Notch1 and Hes1 in MB cells treated with BPA 0.1 mmol·L -1 were also detected by real-ti me PCR.RESULTS BPA 0.1 mmol·L -1 could inhibited MB cell viability and foci differentiation.However,this effect could not be reversed by ER antagonist.The protein and mRNA expression levels of ER in e mbryonic brain and MB cells untreated with BPA were found to be extre mly low.In addition,BPA 0.1 mmol·L -1 could inhibited the mRNA expression levels of Notch1 and Hes1 .CONCLUSION BPA could inhibited MB cell viability and foci differentiation.ER pathway might be not involved in this effect.Instead,Notch-Hes pathway might be involved for this effect.

Objective:To investigate whether children with benign childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes (BECT) still have attention network damage and its correlative factors after complete remission.Methods:Thirty BECT patients over 16 years old and without seizures over two years (BECT group; 21 males, nine females, median age 17 years) in the Department of Neurology, Provincial Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010 and 42 healthy controls (control group; 30 males, 12 females, median age 17 years) from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were tested by the attention network test tool.Results:There was not statistically significant difference in the accuracy rate and total reaction time of attention network test between the BECT group and the control group [97.0% (95.0%, 99.0%) vs 98.0% (95.5%, 98.0%), Z=-0.437, P=0.662; 587.50 (523.50, 668.75) ms vs 610.00 (584.25, 631.75) ms, Z=-0.320, P=0.749; respectively]. And there was not statistically significant difference in the efficiency of the alert network, directional network, and executive control network in the BECT group compared with the control group [(46.13±24.97) ms vs (48.52±27.65) ms, t=-0.376, P=0.708; (32.23±18.12) ms vs (33.21±19.68) ms, t=-0.215, P=0.830; (124.50±39.87) ms vs (117.60±50.13) ms, t=0.626, P=0.533; respectively]. The accuracy of attention network test was positively correlated with the age of onset ( b=0.925, P=0.012), and was negatively correlated with the total number of seizures ( b=-0.853, P=0.025). Conclusion:Although the accuracy of attention network test in BECT patients after remission was correlated with age of onset and total number of seizures, BECT patients had no attention network damage after complete remission compared with healthy controls.

Objective: To examine uric acid (UA) levels and their influencing factors among primary and middle school students in the Tongzhou District of Beijing, and to provide referential guidance for the prevention and control of hyperuricemia in teenagers. Methods: A total of 1 483 students from four middle schools and four primary schools in three cities and three towns in Tongzhou District were selected for a questionnaire survey, physical examination, and blood examination using a multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method. The results of the serum uric acid (SUA) examinations were statistically analyzed and the influencing factors were evaluated. Results: The UA level of the students was skewed, with a median value of 296.0 mol/L and an interquartile distance of 96.0 mol/L. The overall detection rate of hyperuricemia was 14.83% (220/1 483). Middle school students (342 μmol/L), students from villages and towns (307 μmol/L), males (309 μmol/L), family dining students (298 μmol/L), students with high levels of triglyceride (TG) (318 μmol/L), students with low levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) (329 μmol/L), and obese students (303 μmol/L) all had statistically higher SUA levels(H/U value was 119 938, 229 525, 212 043, 156 347, 42 052, 63 375, 33.49, P<0.05). The univariate analysis showed that the HUA detection rate was higher in older age groups, middle school students, township students, overweight or obese students, and low HDL-C students(χ 2=614.55, 73.20, 6.16, 30.56, 14.50, P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression showed that older age, being male, low HDL-C, high LDL-C, overweight, and obesity were risk factors for HUA(P<0.05). Conclusion The SUA level and the detection rate of hyperuricemia among primary and middle school students in Tongzhou District were high, and the risk of disease and influencing factors had significant characteristics. Therefore, targeted prevention and control measures should be strengthened.

Objective: To explore the changes in ribosomal DNA copy number in peripheral blood among patients with pneumoconiosis and its influencing factors, so as to provide insights into prevention and treatment of pneumoconiosis. Methods: Eighty-eight patients with pneumoconiosis who visited a designated hospital and 71 community residents with no history of pneumoconiosis or dust exposure were selected as the pneumoconiosis group and control group, and age, smoking history, drinking history and cumulative years of exposure to dust were collected through questionnaire surveys. The copy number of 45S rDNA and 5S rDNA was detected using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR, and the differences between the two groups were compared. Factors affecting the copy number of 45S rDNA and 5S rDNA were identified by a multiple linear regression model. Results: The pneumoconiosis group had a median age of 56.00 (interquartile range, 15.25) and a mean cumulative dust exposure duration of (12.40±8.08) years, with 56.82% smoking and 62.50% drinking. The control group had a median age of 64.00 (interquartile range, 37.00) years, with 32.39% smoking and 26.76% drinking. The median copy number of 45S rDNA in the pneumoconiosis group was 1.29 (interquartile range, 0.59), which was lower than 2.10 (interquartile range, 1.88) in the control group; the median copy number of 5S rDNA in the pneumoconiosis group was 5.33 (interquartile range, 0.85), which was higher than 4.66 (1.34) in the control group (both P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis identified age (β=-0.034) and pneumoconiosis (β=-1.595) as factors affecting 45S rDNA copy number, age (β=-0.013) as a factor affecting 5S rDNA copy number, and age (β=0.018) as a factor affecting 5S rDNA copy number in the pneumoconiosis group (all P<0.05). Conclusions Compared with community residents with no history of pneumoconiosis or dust exposure, the copy number of 45S rDNA in peripheral blood among patients with pneumoconiosis is reduced and the copy number of 5S rDNA is increased.
