1.Influence of nursing intervention on Alzheimer's patients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(21):30-32
ObjectiveTo give health guidance and intervention to Alzheimer's patients and observe its impact on their quality of life. MethodsBasic care, psychological care and safety of care measures were given to 45 Alzheimer's patients in our hospital from March 2007 to September 2008, self-care ability and cognitive ability were observed. ResultsThe Alzheimer's patients were alleviated in the following symptoms such as accidental aspiration, wrong intake, falls, self- injury, straying away, self- care ability, cognitive ability and social skills. ConclusionsStrengthening of diet and daily life care, attention to psy-chological and safety care in patients with Alzheimer's disease can improve their quality of life, which is worthy of hospital, community and family promotion.
2.Effects of erythropoietin on expressions of myocardial cell Bcl-2 and Bax in rats with acute myocardial infarction
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(11):1930-1931
Objective To study the effects of erythropoietin on expressions of myocardial cell Bcl-2 and Bax in rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods Rats that survived after AMI were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Treatment group were given EPO 3000 U/kg, A total of 3 d(preoperative 1 day, the same day, after 1 day),control group at the same point in time given the same amount of saline by the intraperitonealy injection. After 4 weeks, hemodynamics and left ventricular function were measured with catheterization,Bcl-2 and Bax were analyzed by immunohistochemical method. Results After 4 weeks, LVSP and +dp/dt_(max) in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05),LVEDP and-dp/dt_(max) were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05);Change of heart rate in two groups were no difference(P>0.05).The expression of myocardial cell Bcl-2 in treatment group were significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05);the expression of myocardial cell Bax and Bcl-2/Bax in treatment group were significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The protective effect of EPO on ischemia and infarction of cardiac function may be related to the reduction of cardiomyocyte apoptosis.
3.Observation about preventive effects of chemophlebitis by lidocaine mortar
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(29):17-18
Objective To know the preventive effects of chemophlebitis by lidocaine mortar. Methods Divided 77 patients with chemophhbitis into the observation group (42 cases) and the control group (35 cases) randomly. Lidocaine mortar was used in the observation group to prevent chemophlebitis, while the 50% MgH2SO4 was used in the control group. Compared the preventive efficacy between the two groups. Results There were 13 cases and 2 cases of chemophhbitis in the control group and the obser-vation group respectively. The incidence rate of chemophlebifis in the observation group was significant low-er than that of in the contrel group. The condition of chemotherapy-associated pains and continue time in the observation group were better than in the control group. Conclusions The preventive efficacy of chemophlebitis by lidocaine mortar is obviously.
4.Recent progress in diagnosis and treatment of carcinomatous meningitis
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(5):365-368
Carcinomatous meningitis (CM) represents a devastating metastatic complication of malignant tumour, and the incident of CM is increasing in recent years. The diagnosis is made by both cerebrospinal fluid by lumbar puncture and radiological investigation, mainly magnetic resonance imaging. The therapeutic management of CM includes intrathecal administration of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and palliative care, but the treatment of CM remains controversial Individualized treatment and combined modality therapy are recommended at present, and the utilization of targeted drug may increase therapeutic effect of CM.
5.Analysis of the legislative models for China's essential medicine system
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2010;26(8):561-564
To probe into problems in the existing essential medicine system in China and the necessity of legislature in this regard, and propose to build a legal framework for such a system. The author holds that the administrative regulations formulated by the State Council can ensure the promotion and implementation of the essential medicine system effectively.
6.IL-17 and kidney diseases
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):645-647
Interleukin 17(IL-17) is a novel member of potent proinflammatory cytokines secreted by Th17 cell subset. It plays an important role in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases due to its specific biological functions. This paper reviews the structure and coding gene, biological functions of IL-17, and association with kidney diseases as well. Further studies on the role of IL-17 in kidney diseases will help the understanding about their pathogenesis as well as the search for new treatment targets to these diseases.
7.Combined use of cetuximab and chemotherapy in recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(12):907-909
Recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck(SCCHN) has a poor prognosis. Cetuximab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and improves the effect of several chemotherapeutical agents including cisplatin. Several clinical trials have shown that cetuximab combined with chemotherapy was effective and well tolerated for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic SCCHN. The strengths of such treatment are its high efficacy and low toxicity.
8.Diagnosis and treatment of 62 cases of placental abruption
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(2):189-190
Objective To explore the early diagnosis of placental abruption and the control measures. Methods Retrospective analysis of our hospital from January 2001 to January 2011 during the 62 patients admitted to the placental abruption. Results Gestational hypertension, trauma and sexual intercourse, premature rupture of membranes for the three main causes; clinical manifestations of lumbar pain, vaginal bleeding, abnormal fetal heart rate and fetal movement,Palace board hard and tenderness, bloody amniotic fluid, etc.;take natural childbirth 9 cases, seven cases of vaginal delivery, cesarean section 42 cases, hip midwifery 4;43 cases of postpartum hemorrhage,26 cases of uteroplacental apoplexy,4 routine hysterectomy; normal newborn delivery,31 cases of neonatal asphyxia,22 cases of fetal death in 3 cases, perinatal child death in 6 cases, perinatal child mortality 9.7%.Conclusion Emphasis on pathogenesis and clinical manifestations, combined with auxiliary B ultrasonic examination to help the early diagnosis of placental abruption.Aggressive treatment of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy,to avoid injury prevention and treatment of placental abruption and premature rupture of membranes is an effective measure.
9.Advances in research of ATP-binding cassette transporters in drug resistance mechanisms of intractable epilepsy
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;41(6):636-639
Epilepsy is one of the common diseases in the nervous system with its complicated pathogenesis still remains unknown. The drug resistance mechanism of intractable epilepsy has always been a key point in the research of neuroscience.A possible cause for the drug resistance is the over expression of efflux drug transporters,e.g.ATP-binding cassette transporters, which may decrease extracellular antiepileptic drugs levels in brains of intractable epilepsy patients.ATP-binding cassette transporters are super family of transporter proteins that require ATP hydrolysis for the transport of substrates across membranes, including P-glycoprotein,multidrug resistance-associated protein, major vault protein and breast cancer resistance associated protein. They are major impediment for the AED successful treatment of many forms of refractory epilepsy in human. This paper reviews the research progress on over-expression of ATP-binding cassette transporters and mechanism of drug resistance in intractable epilepsy.
