Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(02):-
Coronary magnetic resonance angiography(MRA)is a technique that allows visualization of the coronary arteries by noninvasive means. This review summarizes results from several studies comparing the difference of coronary MRA with conventional coronary angiography, and finds it to be a diagnosis tool of coronary artery stenoses with a high degree of accuracy, especially with sites at the proximal and middle segments.Current limitations of two-dimensional and three-dimensional coronary MIRA are discussed, which prevents it to be sensitive enough as a screening tool. The development trends of coronary MRA are also been evaluated.(J Intervent Radiol,2007,16:139-142)

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(20):4070-4073
Based on vector auto-regression (VAR) model, this paper takes advantage of Granger causality test, variance decomposition and impulse response analysis techniques to carry out a comprehensive study of the factors influencing the price of Chinese herbal, including herbal cultivation costs, acreage, natural disasters, the residents' needs and inflation. The study found that there is Granger causality relationship between inflation and herbal prices, cultivation costs and herbal prices. And in the total variance analysis of Chinese herbal and medicine price index, the largest contribution to it is from its own fluctuations, followed by the cultivation costs and inflation.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(7):1608-1613
This article was aimed to evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture and flunarizine for migraine treatment. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in migraine treatment by acupuncture andflunarizine were searched in the Pubmed, Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP, and W anfang database. The quality of inclusion criteria were assessedaccording to the CochraneCollaboration's recommended methodand the effective data was extracted. Then, the RevMan5.2 software was used in thesummary and analysis of the effective literatures. The results showed thatthe total sample size was893 cases, with 10 studies according to the inclusion criteria. Meta-analysis showed that the short-term efficacy of the treatment group was higher than the control group [RR = 1.27, 95%CI (1.11, 1.45), P<0.000 4];the long-term efficacy of the treatment group was higher than the control group [RR = 1.76, 95%CI (1.05, 2.94), P=0.03]; headache degree of improvement was better than thecontrol group [MD = -2.00, 95%CI (-3.01, -0.99), P=0.000 1]. It was concluded that acupuncture was more effective than flunarizinein migraine treatment. However, the whole study sample size was relatively small, thequality assessment was not high, and the funnel plot analysis was left-right asymmetry, which indicated the presence of publication bias. It was concluded that more high-quality clinical cases should be confirmed in the future.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(4):307-310
Objective To evaluate the curative effect and security ofYangxue-Qingnao granules on posterior circulation ischemia. Methods 52 patients with posterior circulation ischemia from September 2012 to January 2014 in Remin hospital of Wuhan Universityk, were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group, with 26 cases in each group. The control group was only treated with flunarizine HCL and Betahistine Mesilate Tablets, while the treatment group was givenYangxue-Qingnao granules based on the control group. The change of clinical symptoms, TCD and cervical vascular ultrasound were observed before and after the treatment. Results After the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was significantly different to the control group (96.2%vs. 76.9%;χ2=4.127,P=0.042). The changes of blood flow velocity of vertebral artery, basilar artery and posterior inferior cerebellar artery were all decreased after the treatment in both groups (tvalue in the treatment group were 20.624, 13.773, and 9.485 respectively,t value in the control group were 13.203, 9.550, and 5.655, respectively, allP<0.01), besides such decreases in the treatment group were better than the control group (allP<0.01). After the treatment, the condition of carotid IMT decrease was significantly better in the treatment group than the control group (the number rate of IMT decrease was (96.2%vs. 69.2%;χ2=5.318,P=0.021).ConclusionYangxue-Qingnao granules can obviously improve the blood flow velocity and the thickness of IMT in patients with posterior circulation ischemia. The short-term curative effect is obvious.

10.Effects of Olive Oil on Whole-cell Lipase Production of Solid-state and Submerged Fermentation by Rhizopus chinensis

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
The effects of solid-state fermentation (SSF) and submerged fermentation (SmF) and the addition of olive oil on the whole-cell lipase production by Rhizopus chinensis CCTCC M201021 were investigated.Compared with SSF, higher biomass, hydrolytic activity and synthetic activity were observed in SmF.By the addition of olive oil, the synthetic activity of whole-cell lipase in both fermentations was enhanced significantly, especially in SmF, while the biomass and the hydrolytic activity were also increased.Hence, olive oil serves as both carbon source and the inducer of lipases in fermentation. It was also found that the synthetic activity of whole-cell lipase was not accordant to the hydrolytic activity during both SmF and SSF, suggesting that isoenzymes with difference in lipase properties may be produced by Rhizopus chinensis.
