Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
One hundred and twenty cases of osteosarcoma were reported.Re-examination of all the tissue specimens revealed that typical neoplastic osteoid was found only in 83% of the cases. It is now generally accepted that the demonstration of osteoid is not essential for the diagnosis, but the microscopic features of sarcomatous stroma, pheomorphism of osteoblasts, anaplastic giant cells, chondrosarcomatous and fihrosarcomatous tissue are of diagnostic importance. The differential diagnosis between neoplastid osteoid and pseudo-osteoid(fibrillar hyalin-ized collagen)were discussed.Forty-eight surgical specimens were stained with polyclonal actin, monoclonal BMP,vi-mentin,collagen type IV and UEA-1 with immunohistochemical ABC.It was found that when there was combined positive expression of monoclonal BMP,vimentin, collagen type IV,UEA-1 and polyclonal actin,or monoclonal BMP,vimentin UEA-1 and/or polyclonal actin,or monoclonal BMP,vimentin and/or polyclonal actin,it was of diagnostic value. However, the five markers were of no value to distinguish fibrillar hyalinized collagen from osteoid stroma. It is believed that the appropriate combination of the immunohistochemical markers is imperative to promote the accuracy of the pathological diagnosis of osteosarcoma and its differential diagnosis.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate rules and characteristics of the adverse drug reactions(ADR)induced by monoclonal antibodies, and provide reference for rational drug use. METHODS:The literatures of ADR induced by monoclonal antibodies from Jan. 1979 to Dec. 2014 were retrieved and analyzed. RESULTS:Among the 132 ADRs induced by monoclonal antibodies,57 were male(43.18%),75 were female(56.82%),the ratio of male to female was 1∶1.3,the youngest was 2 years old,and oldest was 111 years old;Adalimumab dominated monoclonal antibody drugs(70 cases,53.03%);there were a maximum of ADR(44) within 1 d,accounting for 33.33%;ADR induced by monoclonal antibodies mainly were skin lesions (20.72%),systemic reac-tions(18.42%)and cardiovascular system damage(16.78%),with the specific performance of rash,itching,chills,fever,palpi-tation,rapid heartbeat and so on. CONCLUSIONS:ADR induced by monoclonal antibodies is more common in the clinic. The clin-ic should timely promote and strengthen the patients' care to ensure safe drug use and improve level of clinical treatment.

Objective To assess regional cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) and cognition impairment of subcortical ischemic vascular disease (SIVD). To show whether CVR affects cognitive impairment of SIVD patients. Methods Arterial spin-labeling (ASL) by MR image was applied in measuring regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) of frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobes after 5% CO2 inhalation, and the CVR was demonstrated by increase rate of rCBF in all the subject areas. Results (1)The patients with SIVD had reduced CVR in cortex of frontal lobes, white matter of frontal lobes, temporal lobes and occipital lobes(P < 0.05). (2) CVR in the SIVD patients with cognitive impairment decreased in frontal cortex and white matter when compared with the patients without cognitive impairment(P < 0.01). Conclusion These results showed that CVR decreased significantly in cortical gray matter and white matter in elderly patients with SIVD. Also the reduction of CVR in the frontal cortex and white matter was associated with cognitive impairment.

Traditional Chinese ancient prescriptions have been used for treatment of liver cancer for a long history and the scientific and rational compatibility is a great wealth for modern research and development (R&D) of new drugs. The research and development of new drugs are often accompanied with a large investment, a long cycle and a high risk, especially for the anti-tumor drugs R&D which are facing more risks and lower successful rate. In this research, the regularity of compatibility of drugs was analyzed from 124 anti-hepatoma ancient prescriptions by computer program. The results can offer help to the R&D of anti-hepatoma new drugs and reduce the risk of drug screening. In addition, we surveyed 22 companies in this field from six provinces such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and so on and obtained 240 risk assessment questionaires. Then we used qualitative analysis method to interpret the greatest impacts for the risks in the process of R&D, production and sales of anti-hepatoma new drugs. The study provides a basis for anti-liver cancer drugs R&D researchers, who can take effective measures to reduce the R&D risks and improve successful rate.

7.THE IMPACT OF FRAMESHIFT MUTAIONS WITHIN mhbR AND mhbT ON THE CATABOLISM OF 3-HYDROXYBENZOATE

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
Klebsiella pneumoniae M5a1 metabolizes 3-hydroxybenzoate via gentisate to central metabolites. The plasmid pBSI encoding the full catabolic pathway endowed E.coli with the ability to grow on 3-hydroxybenzoate. We have determined the sequence of an 8-kb region spanning the mhb genes. Blast search in the GenBank revealed the mhbR was a putative transcript regulator and mhbT was a putative 3-hydroxybenzoate transporter. The E.coli strain containing the plasmid with frameshift mutantion either in mhbR or mhbT grew more slowly on 3-hydroxybenzoate than that containing the wild type clone.

Objective To study the protective mechanism of adenosine on intestinal barrier function in acute hemorragic necrotizing pancreatitis (AHNP) pigs; Methods Twelve small pigs were equally devided into two groups randomly after the AHNP model sitted up: (1) AHNP controll group (group A) and adenosine treated group (group B). The intestinal blood flow, intestinal permeability, bacterial culture and endotoxin in portal blood were compared between the two groups in pre and post AHNP. Results (1)The intestinal blood flow was dramatically decreased in group A, and much higher in group B than that in group A at the 8 h, 24 hour and day 7 after ANHP model was setted up (P0.001,P
9.Survey of point prescriptions of acupuncture treatment for urinary retention.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2006;26(9):681-684
OBJECTIVETo summarize characteristics of the point prescriptions for acupuncture treatment of urinary retention from 1994 to 2005.
METHODSReview of literature was made from following five aspects: body acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, hand acupuncture and abdomen acupuncture. For the prescriptions of body acupuncture, further analysis was made on single point prescription, distal-proximal point association, superior-inferior point association, point selection according to syndrome differentiation and point selection according to disease differentiation.
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture has affirmative therapeutic effect on urinary retention. However, there are still problems to be resolved in clinical researches at present.
