ObjectiveTo investigate the intelligence characteristics and relativity with motor development of children with spastic diplegia.MethodsIntelligence and motor development of 46 children with spastic diplegia were tested by Wechsler Intelligence Scale and Motor Development Milestone (MDM), to find out difference of intelligence between the children with diplegia and the normal control group.ResultsIntelligence quotient (IQ) of children with spastic diplegia was lower significantly than the normal control, specially performance IQ (PIQ). PIQ was related with motor development. The more delayed motor development was, the more lower PIQ was. Subtest scores of animal egg, puzzle, block design and picture generalization were lower in spastic diplegic children with normal IQ than that of the normal control group, while vocabulary IQ (VIQ) was not different.ConclusionThe intelligence structure of children with spastic diplegia is imbalanced and PIQ of those children is significantly lower than the normal children, which is related to hands-eyes correspond, sight-motor correspond and speed, and space-sight ability.

In this paper, two new concepts of DR (Dose Repulsion) and DG (Dose Gravitation) are presented with their calculation formulas. For the problem of selecting beam arcs in x-knife radiotherapy Planning system, a mathematics model of constrained optimization has been built. Furthermore, we have produced a feasible project of automatic selecting optimized beam arcs plan using SA (Simulated Annealing) arithmetic based on the distribution of the fields of DR and DG in the reduced phase space.

Objective To investigate the value of intraoperative ultrasound in the resection of hemangioblastoma. Methods Intraoperative ultrasound was applied in 17 patients who underwent resection. The size, number, location ,depth, feeding arteries and draining veins of the tumors were clearly displayed. Results Intraoperative ultrasound could real-time locate the tumor with high accuracy. Totally there were 35 tumors in 17 patients, and intraoperative ultrasound found 32 of them. The diameter of thr smallest tumor was 7 mm. Intraoperative ultrasound could displayed clearly the feeding arteries and draining veins in bigger tumors. Conclusions Intraoperative ultrasound should be routinely used in the operation of hemangioblastoma for its high detection rate.

Objective To prepare a glycerol reference material. Methods The material was prepared and characterized according to the primary standard substance technological specification(JJG 1006- 1994).Glycerol was dissolved in water containing 0.5% sodium azide and dispersed to glass ampules. The homogeneity and stability of this material were tested with an HPLC method.Glycerol concentration was determined by a titration method as specified in the Pharmacopoeia of China. Results The three time measuring result of glycerol reference material was 1.297 5?0.014 3,1.302 0?0.008 9,1.313 7? 0.007 8,respectively.Statistical analysis showed that this material was homogeneous (F=1.462,P=0.166) .It was stable for at least 4 years at 4℃.The assigned reference value was 0.103 6 g/g and the expanded uncertainty was 0.000 4 g/g.Conclusions This material meet the technical requirements of national primary standard reference material. It is approved as the Certified Reference Material (GBW 09149) by General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection,Quarantine of the People's Republic of China in May,2006.

The morphology, cultural characteristics, physiological and biochemical properties of phosphate solubilizing strain BL-11 were studied.Combine with its 16S rDNA sequence analysis result strain BL-11 was identified as Brevibacillus laterosporus. Results showed that the phosphate solubilizing efficiency of strain BL-11was up to 10.91% when with Ca_ 3 (PO_ 3 )_ 2 as the sole phosphorus source in the medium, while the efficiency of that was up to 1.56% when with sands as the sole phosphorus source. An optimal media of BL-11 strain for solubilizing phosphate was obtained by orthogonal test.It was composed of sugar 20g/L,(NH_ 4 )_ 2 HCO_ 3 0.3g/L,MgSO_ 4 .7H_ 2 O 0.5g/L,NaCl 0.3{g/L},KCl 0.5g/L,FeSO_ 4 0.03g/L,MnSO_ 4 .H_ 2 O 0.03{g/L.}_ While other conditions were consisted of initial pH7.0-8.0,180 r/min,and 30℃.

Objective To evaluate the association between interleukin-I(IL-1)loci polymorphisms and increased risk of gastric carcinoma in samples from northern Chinese population. Methods Blood sam- ples from 126 patients with gastric cancer and 125 controls with chronic gastritis were collected.Genomic DNA was extracted and polymorphisms at -31(C to T),-511(C to T)and at intron 2(86-bp VNTR)of IL-I RN were genotyped by PCR-CTPP,PCR-RFLP and PCR.For detection of Hp infection fast urenase test,~(14)C breath test and serum anti-Hp IgG antibody assay were used. Results Five kinds of polymorphism of IL-IRN were found as 1/1,1/3,1/4,1/2 and 2/2,and the frequencies in patients were 76.19%、4.76%、6.35%、11.90% and 0.79%,respectively.However,the frequencies in controls were 76.00%、4.00%、4.80%、13.60% and 1.60%.No significant differences were observed between cases and controls in each genotype. The polymorphism of IL-IB-31 allele was C/C,C/T and T/T.The frequencies in patients were 12.70% ,47.62% and 39.68%,and in controls 28.00%,48.80% and 23.20% respectively.IL-1B- 31 T/T carriers were at an increase risk of gastric cancer with an odds ratio of 3.772(95% CI,1.786- 7.966).IL-IB-511 alleles were C/C,C/T and T/T.The frequencies in patients were 19.20%,56.80% and 24.00% and in controls,23.38%,49.19% and 27.42% respectively. No significant differences were observed between cases and controls in each genotype. Conclusion In Chinese population, the polymor- phism of IL-1B-31 alleles may be associated with the susceptibility of gastric cancer. However,no evidence was found to support that the polymorphisms of IL-1RN and IL-I B-511 alleles had relationship with gastric cancer.

Traditional Chinese Medicine massage is a kind of physiotherapy which affects on specific parts of the body surface by means of training to regulate the function of the body to achieve the therapeutic effect. In this work, under positive detection model, the chemical fingerprint of exhaled breath from volunteers before and after receiving Traditional Chinese Medicine massage within m/z 50-1000 were detected by extractive electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (EESI-MS). And through high resolution mass spectrometry analysis, the metabolites such as epinephrine (m/z 184. 0889), 3-(3-hydroxyphenyl) propionic acid (m/z 167.0615) and L-tryptophan (m/z 205. 0933) were successfully identified. Besides, chemical fingerprints of volunteers before and after receiving Traditional Chinese Medicine massage under different health condition were clearly differentiated via partial least squares discrimination analysis (PLS-DA). The results showed that Traditional Chinese Medicine massage could significantly change the metabolic process of volunteers. Moreover, it further indicated that the established method could provide a real time fashion to follow metabolic changes caused by Traditional Chinese Medicine massage.
