After the limitations of modeling scientific literature novelty assessment were analyzed in light of the de-velopment of scientific literature novelty assessment, comprehensive assessment of the innovations and overall develop-ment of the projects was proposed with combined traditional literature retrieval and multivariate analysis according to the competitive information theory and integrated comprehensive assessment theory in combination with bibliometrics and special case analysis of literature novelty assessment.

Telemedicine is a medical type that develops with communication and information technology.Its main goal is to provide professional health care for poor areas or rescue of dangerous patients.It integrates long-range communication technology,medical technology and health informatics technology.The development of telemedicine system has gone through the first telemedicine system based on wired telephone,microwave and satellite communications on behalf of the second generation of long-distance medical system until today's mobile communications and the Internet which represent the third generation.Telemedicine has been widely applied,for example,remote diagnosis and treatment,remote consultation,remote surgery,telemonitoring and remote rescue.At present,telemedicine has become a multi-disciplinary high-tech that develops very rapidly,and a new model of health care service into the armed forces medical services and medical care.

Objective To study the effects of sample digestion conditions on measurement results of urinary iodine determined by As(Ⅲ)-Ce4+ catalytic spectrophotometry with ammonium persulfate digestion,and to promote the application of newly revised (the 2012 edition) national standard method for determination of urinary iodine.Methods According to the newly revised national standard method,various digestion conditions,such as ammonium persulfate concentration (0.8-1.3 mol/L,group interval 0.1),digestion instruments (heating block and drying oven) and standing time after digestion(0.5,1.0,2.0,4.0 and 22.0 h),were studied.The samples included 3 standard materials,which were GWB09108k,GWB09109f and GWB09110m containing iodine of (68.2 ± 9.0),(138.0 ± 10.0) and (221.0 ± 10.0) μg/L,and 5 urine samples with iodine concentration of 100-300 μg/L.Results Measurement results among the three groups of 0.9,1.0 and 1.1 mol/L ammonium persulfate digestion fluid showed no significant difference(P ＞ 0.05).The digestive effect showed no significant difference between heating block and drying oven (P ＞ 0.05) except one standard material in low concentration (GBW09108k).After digestion,samples were placed 0.5-22.0 h,the measurement results between groups showed no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Appropriate concentrations of ammonium persulfate are from 0.9 mol/L to 1.1 mol/L.Heating block is recommended for the digestion,however,when absent,drying oven can be used alternatively.The standing times from 0.5 h to 22 h after digestion have not affected the measurement results.

Objective Acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) are common and life-threatening disease in children with mortality as high as 40%-70%. Alveolar type Ⅱ cells (ATII cells),characterized by the presence of lamellar bodies (LBs),synthesize and secret surfactant proteins (SPs),which contribute significantly to surfactant homeostasis and pulmonary immunity.The functions of ATⅡ cells including pulmonary surfactant production are autocratically dominated by the structural integrity of ATII cells.Our study is focused on the ultrastructural alterations of AT Ⅱ cells in rats with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced ALI.Methods Rat ALI models were established by intraperitoneal injection of LPS (4 mg/kg).0.9 % NS with same amount was given in the normal control group.The rats were randomly chosen and sacrificed at 24, 48 and 72 hrs after LPS injection (8 rats at each time point).Lung samples (1 mm3 of the size) were obtained from the lower parts of left lungs and fixed with 2.5% glutaraldehyde for the transmission electron microscope examination.Results The microvilli around ATII cells disappeared and the number of LBs increased at 24 hrs after LPS administration.LBs rearranged like a ring around the nuclei.It was commonly seen that two nuclei were present in one AT Ⅱ cell.Vacuole-like deformity prominently occurred in cytoplasm at 48 hrs.Giant LBs presented at the same time.The shapes of nuclei were irregular and some of the borders were unclear at 48 and 72 hrs.The remnant of ruptured LBs scattered in cytoplasm at 72 hrs.The number of LBs reduced obviously.Karyolysis occurred in some of the nuclei.Conclusions The ALI-related alterations of ATII cells characterized by the changes of LBs,nuclei,and nucleoli were time-dependent. ATII cell injury was serious at 48 and 72 hrs.This may lead to the insufficiency of pulmonary surfactant synthesis and unstability of pulmonary homeostasis,which contributed to to the pathogenesis of acute lung injury.

The outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in West Africa in February 2014 is the worst one in the history of the disease.Medicines and vaccines for Ebola have attracted special attention .This study utilizes Cortellis database of Thom-son Reuters and knowledge about Ebola virus to analyze current R&D of medicines and vaccines for Ebola in order to offer references for research and development .Study findings shows that there are mainly 5 important categories:vaccines, neu-tralizing antibodies , small-molecule anti-Ebola drugs , RNAi drugs and nucleotide drugs .In each category , there are prom-ising products under development that are worthy of attention .

To study the effect of Fuzheng Huayu recipe (FZHY) on five types of isozymes of cytochrome P450 (CYP450) of normal and liver fibrosis rats by using the cocktail probe method. Dimethylnitrosamine ( DMN) was injected to induce the liver fibrosis model. After the tail vein injection with Cocktail probe solutions prepared with five CYP450s probe substrates (phenacetin-CYP1A2, omeprazole-CYP2C9, tolbutamide-CYP2C19, dextromethorphan-CYP2D6, midazolam-CYP3A4), the plasma concentrations of the five probe substrates were determined by LC-MS/MS, and the pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated by PK solutions 2. After the oral administration with FZHY, normal rats given phenacetin, omeprazole, tolbutamide and dextromethorphan showed increase in AUC(0-t) and decrease in CL to varying degrees, indicating that FZHY obviously inhibited the activities of CYP1A2, CYP2C9, CYP2C19 and CYP2D6 in normal rats, but with no obvious effect on the activity of CYP3A4. After the oral administration with FZHY, liver fibrosis rats treated with CYP2C9 showed the significant increase in AUC(0-t) and significant decrease in Vd, hut with no obvious changes in the pharmacokinetic parameters of other four types of prove substances, suggesting that FZHY could significantly inhibit the activity of CYP2C9 in rats but had no effect on the activities of CYP1A2, CYP2C19, CYP2D6 and CYP3A4. The changes in the activity of CYP450 isozymes in liver fibrosis rats may be the reason for FZHY's different effects on CYP450 isozymes in normal and liver fibrosis rats.

Two hundred and sixty-one subjects were recruited from in-patients and subjects for phaysical Check-up,and were divided into normal control group (NC),nonalcoholic fatty liver disease group (NAFLD),type 2 diabetes mellitus group (T2DM),and T2DM accompanied by NAFLD group (DMN).According to the result of ultrasonic examination,the patients with T2DM were further divided into non-NAFLD group,light fatty liver group (NAFLD-L group),moderate fatty liver group(NAFLD-M group),and severe fatty liver(NAFLD-S group).Fasting plasma glucose,blood lipid,liver function,kidney function,and serum retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) levels were determined.The risk of various indicators for NAFLD was determined by correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis.The results showed that fasting glucose levels in diabetics with or without NAFLD were significantly higher than those in NC and NAFLD groups(P＜0.01).Triglyceride (TG) level in DMN group was significantly higher than those in other three groups(all P＜0.01),while high density lipoprotein-cholesterol level was lower than those in other three groups(all P＜0.01).Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in DMN group were higher than those in NC and T2DM groups (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Serum RBP4 level in patients with NAFLD was significantly higher compared with the subjects without NAFLD [45.00 (38.75,51.00) mg/L vs 51.00 (43.00,62.00) mg/L,P ＜0.01],and was rising with the progress of NAFLD [NAFLD-L group 44.00 (37.00,51.00) mg/L,NAFLD-M group 52.00(46.00,63.00) mg/L,and NAFLD-S group 78.5 (72.75,83.00) mg/L,all P＜0.01].Logistic regression analysis showed that the RBP4 level was an independent factor associated with NAFLD (P =0.029).In addition,serum RBP4 level was correlated with body mass index,waist-to-hip ratio,serum gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase,total cholesterol,TG,aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,prealbumin,creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,and uric acid.These resuhs suggest that serum RBP4 is an independent risk factor of NAFLD.
