Objective To evaluate the value of ultrasonic elastography for diagnosis of chronic nonspecific low back pain. Methods From March to September, 2016, 32 patients diagnosed as chronic nonspecific low back pain and other 32 healthy people (controls) were measured lumbar erector spinae with ultrasonic elastography, and calculated Yang's modulus. The correlation between Yang's modulus and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) or Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score in the patients were investigated with Pearson's analysis. Re-sults There was no significant difference in Yang's modulus between bilateral lumbar erector spinae in both the patients and the controls (t<1.849, P>0.05), but it was more in the patients than in the controls (t=9.931, P<0.001). The Yang's modulus was positively correlated with VAS score in the patients (r=0.614, P<0.001), but not with the JOA score (r=-0.243, P=0.180). Conclusion Ultrasonic elastography can be applied to differentiate low back pain from the healthy, and measure the intensity of pain.

Objective To observe the effects of Taizhian treatment on macrophages expression in the plaque of aotic intima and blood lipid levels in hypercholesterolemic rabbits. Methods Sixteen male New Zealand rabbits were given 1%high-cholesterol diet. After 8 weeks, these macrophages expression in aotic intima was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with normal rabbits,Taizhian treatment decreased the expression of macrophages in aortic intima by 25%and reduced serum levels of low density lipoprotein-cholesterol by 21%in hypercholesterolemic rabbits(both P<0.05). Conclusions Taizhian may significantly decrease blood lipid level and reduce atherosclerosis in hypercholesterolemic rabbits.

Semisupervisedmakesfulluseoflargeamountsofunlabeledsamplestomakeuptheinsufficiency of labeled samples. Since it is difficult to obtain a large number of accurate labeled samples and it is a good way for modeling by using a small amount of labeled samples or a large number of inaccurate samples, we proposed a new method named as semi-supervised partial least squares ( SS-PLS) to optimize model based on semi supervised learning. We used 211 samples of tobacco near infrared spectrum and sensory evaluation for modeling and used SS-PLS method to optimize tobacco sensory evaluation model. In the optimized model, the coefficient of determination ( R2 ) can reach up to 90%, the ratio of performance to deviation ( RPD) can reach up to 3 . 0 , and the standard error of cross validation and the standard error of prediction ( SECV and SEP) are below 1. 0. We divided the original sensory evaluation and SS-PLS optimized data into three grades of excellent, medium and poor in accordance with the fixed threshold, the result using projection model of based on principal component and Fisher criterion ( PPF ) shows that the classification of SS-PLS optimized data is better than the original sensory evaluation data. The SS-PLS method can solve the data representation problem of using small sample set for modeling and provides a new chemometrics method for near infrared spectroscopy modeling in case of obtaining a large number of accurately labeled samples is difficult.

Objective To observe the EGFR nuclear translocation in cervical carcinoma cell lines after irradiation and its possible role in radiation tolerance. Methods Western blotting was used to detect the nuclear EGFR and cytoplastic EGFR after irradiation. The effect of Cetuximab on expression of nuclear EGFR and survival fractions were investigated. Results After irradiation, compared with control group, the expression of nuclear EGFR protein increased in irradiated cervical carcinoma cell.Cetuximab inhibited the radiation-induced nuclear EGFR expression with decreased survival fractions. Conclusion Radiation could induce EGFR nuclear translocation in cervical carcinoma cell lines and nuclear EGFR might be correlated with radiation tolerance in Cervical carcinoma cell.

Although current synthetic anti-gout drugs have significant therapeutic effects in reducing serum uric acid levels, they have serious side effects such as allergic reactions and liver and kidney damage. Natural products with a wide range of uric acid-lowering and high safety have played a critical role in anti-gout drug discovery and development. This paper reviews the natural products with uric acid-lowering or anti-gout pharmacological effects and the investigation on their mechanisms of action, to provide information for drug discovery and development.

OBJECTIVETo determine whether autoantibodies against the cardiac G-protein-coupled beta 2- and alpha 1-adrenergic and AT1 receptors are related to patients with primary hypertension.
METHODSSynthetic peptides corresponding to amino acid sequences of the second extracellular loops of the beta 2- and alpha 1-adrenergic and AT1 receptors were respectively used as antigens to screen sera from patients with hypertensive heart diseases (n = 50) as well as simple hypertension (n = 40) and healthy blood donors (n = 40) using ELISA test.
RESULTSThe positive ratio of autoantibodies against beta 2 and alpha 1 and AT1 receptors in patients with hypertensive heart diseases were significantly higher than patients with simple hypertension and healthy donors. The geometric mean titers of autoantibodies against beta 2- and alpha 1-adrenergic and AT1 receptors had no difference between the patients with hypertensive heart diseases and the patients with simple hypertension, but the geometric mean titers of two groups were higher than healthy donors. In the patients with hypertensive heart diseases, 81.0% of the patients with autoantibodies against beta 2-adrenergic receptor had autoantibodies against alpha 1-adrenergic receptor and 76.2% had autoantibodies against AT1 receptors. The percent of the autoantibodies against three receptors in patients with hypertensive heart diseases were 52.4%.
CONCLUSIONSAutoantibodies against beta 2- and alpha 1-adrenergic and AT1 receptors play an important role in the pathophysiological changes of primary hypertension, and may participate myocardial and vessel remodeling.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the root canal curvature of permanent anterior teeth from Chuang population.
METHODS245 anterior teeth from Chuang population were collected and examined by X-ray radiography both from labiolingual and mesiodistal directions. For 218 type I anterior teeth, degree of root canal curvature, radius of curvature and length of the curved part of root canal were measured by a special electronic vernier caliper according to Schneider's and Schäfer's method and the data obtained were analyzed.
RESULTSRoot canals of anterior teeth from Chuang population were mainly of type I. The number of type II, III, IV were about 13 in mandibular central and 12 in mandibular lateral incisors. The incidence of curvature in maxillary central incisors, lateral incisors, canines and mandibular central incisors, lateral incisors, canines were 40%, 80%, 77%, 65%, 66%, 73% in mesiodistal directions, 62%, 69%, 70%, 62%, 41%, 61% in labiolingual directions respectively. The most curvature was moderate and happened in apical third. The heaviest curvature occurred in maxillary canines in mesiodistal direction and mandibular canines in labiolingual direction. The shortest radius and length of curvature occurred in maxillary lateral incisors.
CONCLUSIONRoot canal curvature of anterior tooth in Guangxi Chuang population is complex. The incidence of type II, III, IV is high in mandibular incisors.
