1.Relapse Factors of Acute Central Nervous System Inflammatory Demyelinating Disease in Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To explore influential factors and features of relapse of presenting with an initial episode of acute central nervous system inflammatory demyelinating disease(IDDCNS) in children. Methods By group-control study,20 relapsing patients with IDDCNS compared with 50 single episoding patients with IDDCNS whose case history longer than 0.5 year, whose age at onset, gender, preceding infection or immunization, neurologic syndromes at presentation, therapeutic response, and final neurologic outcome after initial episode were analyzed by mono-factor analysis and multi-factor nonconditional Logistic regression model. Results 1.The risk of relapse increased in the near future,75.0% relapsed before 6 months. There were 18 cases diagnosed multiple sclerosis(MS),1 case neurooptic myelitis and 1 case immaturity myelitis in relapsing patients. There were 39 cases diagnosed acute disseminated encephalomyelitis in single episoding patients.2.Mono-factor analysis:8 factors were not statistically significant, including age at onset, gender, seizure, palsy, conscious disturbance, ataxia, natural relief, sequelae after the first attack;6 factors were statistically significant, including infectious or vaccination agents before episode, fever, visual disorder, multiple neurological signs, positive pathologic reflex, with marked improvement to cortical hormone.3.In the multi-factor stepwise regression analysis, visual disorder(OR=42.50)and positive pathologic reflex(OR=8.666)were the independent influencing factors, multiple neurological signs(OR=0.068)was independent protecting factor. Conclusions The rate of relapse in IDDCNS is lower than abroad and most relapse before 0.5 year, the main diagnosis of relapsing case is MS.When visual disorder and positive pathologic reflex presenting in the fist episode of IDDCNS,the opportunity of relapse will increase, and will decrease when multiple neurological signs presenting.

AIM: To investigate the pathological changes of motoneuron's function and morphology after root avulsion in order to study the neurobiology mechanism of motoneuron death. METHODS: Twenty female adult Sprague-Dawley rats, 200-300 g were used. The C 5-C 8, T 1 roots of the right brachial plexus were avulsed. All rats were killed 3 d, 5 d or 1 week after avulsion. One group of the C 5-C 8 spinal cords freeze sections (40 ?m thick) were collected for the NADPH-d histochemistry with neural red counterstained. Another group of the C 5-C 8 spinal cords freeze sections (40 ?m thick) were collected for the c-Jun immunocytochemistry stain. The paraffin sections (5 ?m thick) were collected for HE stain. The amount of NOS-positive and survival motoneurons was counted. The percentage of NOS expression and motoneuron survive were quantitatively analyzed considering the amount of contra lateral motoneurons as one hundred percent. RESULTS: The NOS expression rate was 0.74%?0.59% (3 d), 24.84%?6.73%(5 d), or 51.16%?8.67% (1 week), respectively. The survive rate was 93.00%?4.32% (3 d), 93.67%?5.27% (5 d), or 89.83%?2.65% (1 week), respectively. The motoneuron expressed c-Jun as early as 3 days after avulsion. The expression declined afterward until one week after avulsion. There was no significant change on the size of motoneuron. The nuclear membrane was still clear but some nuclei were not located in the middle of the cell body. There were some nucleoli with the chromatin condensation. CONCLUSION: The motoneuron NOS expression and cell death were increased within one week after spinal root avulsion. meanwhile, the c-jun expression was decreased. The NO/NOS may induce the motoneuron death by inhibiting the regenerating reactions of motoneuron after root avulsion injury.

Objective To investigate the remineralization effects of the Aominqing dental desensitizer and the fluoride dentifrice on the demineralized enamels. Methods Sixty-three teeth were randomly divided into three groups after demineralization , then was remineralized for eight days by using Aominqing dental desensitizer, fluoride dentifrice (1.1 g/L), and deionized water, respectively. The thin sections of teeth were analyzed under the con-focal laser scanning microscope (CLSM). The morphology of the surface of teeth was observed under the scanning electron microscope (SEM). Results Under CLSM, the evaluation parameter area of the fluorescent lesion (A,μm2) processed by Aominqing and by fluoride was (3.19 ± 0.19) × 104, (3.61 ± 0.26) × 104 μm2, respectively. The total fluorescence (TF) was (0.61 ± 0.09) × 106, (0.89 ± 0.15) × 106, average fluorescent of the lesion(AF) was (18.98 ± 1.56), (24.65 ± 2.39), and the above parameters were all less than those in the blank control group [A=(4.89 ± 0.24) × 104 μm2,TF=(1.78 ± 0.21) × 106, AF = 36.29 ± 2.57] (P < 0.01). The evaluation parameters in the Aominqing group were less than those in the fluoride dentifrice group(P < 0.05). Under SEM, the surface of the group processed by Aominqing was the smoothest, compared to the fluoride dentifrice group and the blank control group. Conclusions Both Aominqing dental desensitizer and fluoride dentifrice (1.1 g/L) have the remineralization effects on the demineralized enamels, and the former has a stronger effect.

shan District,Shanghai in 2019,to provide references for measles prevention and control of enterprise employees. Methods
A total of 1 796 employees were selected from 6 enterprises in Jinshan District by using a stratified random sampling method,of
which serum samples from intravenous blood were collected and determined for IgG antibody level of measles by ELISA. Geo⁃
metric mean concentration(GMC)of measles IgG antibody, antibody positive rate and antibody protection rate were calculated
and the susceptibility factors of measles in enterprise employees were analyzed by using the unconditional multivariate Logistic
regression model. Results The GMC of measles antibody in 1 796 monitoring objects was 639. 71 mIU/mL,the positive rate
was 87. 58% and the protection rate was 29. 06%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the odds ratio(OR)of
measles susceptibility was 1. 55(95% CI:1. 14 ~ 2. 12)in native subjects compared with non⁃resident subjects,while 2. 35
(95% CI:1. 35 ~ 4. 08)in subjects aged 40 ~ 49 years compared with those aged ≥ 50 years. Conclusion In 2019,the
measles antibody level of enterprise employees in Jinshan District of Shanghai was low,and people aged 40 ~ 49,especially the
nativeadults,wereathighriskofsusceptibilitytomeasles. Supplementaryimmunizationwithmeaslesvaccineshouldbecarried
