1.The effect of ischemia-reperfusion injury on concentrations of free amino acids in rat myocardium and taurine's protective role
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
By using the model of ischemia-reperfusion injury in the isolated working rat heart, the change of free amino acid concentrations in myocardium and the effect of taurine on the heart were investegated. It was found that concentrations of 17 free amino acids in myocardium, except Cys,decreased, and that 20mM taurine was able to ameliorate the ischemia-reperfusion injury of the heart ;e. g. , the improvement of recovery of cardiac mechanical functions, the decrease in the leakage of LDHand CK from myocardium,in the accumulation of lipid peroxides and calcium, and in the loss of free amino acids in myocardium,as well as the decrease in the occurence rate of ventricular arrhythmias during the reperfusion phase. So, it may be suggested that exogenous taurine has some protective effects against the myocardial is-chemia-reperfuaion injury.

By takung advantage of atomuc force mucroscopes'( AFM) capabuluty of manupulatung and processung materuals on the mucroscale, we duscovered and unvestugated a top-down preparatuon method of buologucal macromolecular nano-fubrul arrays. 50μg/mL solutuon of rat taul type I collagen monomers was used to coat the muca surface to form a proteun membrane. In the AFM Contact Mode, the AFM tup then manupulated the membrane wuth appropruate force between 100 nN and 1 mN, thus producung patterned collagen nano-fubrul arrays wuth specufuc oruentatuons. The nano-fubruls are averagely 2-5 nm un heught and 150-350 nm un wudth. Based on the relatuonshup between the structure of such nano-fubrul arrays and the AFM scannung patterns, we unvestugated and duscussed the formatuon of the proteun fubrul arrays, and verufued the molecular broom mechanusm of the AFM tup. Thus preparatuon method could potentually provude an effucuent technuque to manufacture cell culture vessels, produce buologucal probes wuth hugh specufucutues, and synthesuze novel mucro/nano materuals as well.

Objective To investigate the effect of heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback training on patients with three types of insom-nia disorder. Methods From June, 2016 to March, 2017, 17 patients in simple insomnia group, 19 patients in insomnia with anxiety group, and 19 patients in insomnia with depression group were included. All the patients received HRV biofeedback training and same medication (zolpidem tartrate, 10 mg every night). They were assessed with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), and HRV parameters were tracked before and after training. Re-sults After training, the scores of PSQI, SCL-90, HAMA , HAMD and the ratio of low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) (LF/HF) de-creased in all groups (t>1.446, P<0.05). There was significant difference in PSQI among three groups (F=3.537, P=0.038). The D-values of the PSQI score and LF/HF before and after training were more in the insomnia with anxiety group and the insomnia with depression group than in the simple insomnia group (P<0.05), however, no significant difference was observed between the insomnia with anxiety group and the insomnia with depression group (P>0.05). Conclusion HRV biofeedback training could improve the symptoms of patients with three types of insomnia disorder, especially for those with anxiety or depression.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Using Vibrio fluvialis Ⅱ as host bacteria, 19 bacteriophages have been isolated from the 76 samples which were collected from Haliotis discus hannai ~growing seawater in Dalian marine culture company Dalian, liaoning province from May in 1996 to August I 1997. Ultrastructure of 19 bacteriophages were observed with electron to Bradley the results showed that of these bacteriophages belonged to Bradley A type, they have hexagonal heads of bacteriophages were identified with VP1,VP2,VP4,VP8 as representatives respectively. The phages remain stable at pH6. 0~10. 0, moreover VP2,VP4 and VP8 are rather stable at basic pHs. Although the characterization of heat inactivation course of VP4 is different from others, four phages are sensitive to heat and inactivated at 80℃ in 5 minutes. One step growth experiment showed that the eclipse period of VP1,VP2,VP4,VP8 are sensitive to heat and the eclipse period of VP1, VP2, VP4, VP8 are 42, 30, 46, 28 minutes. In this experiment we have isolated at least four different types phages, it suggest that in fact there is a population of phages in the seawater environment. The result of this study provided a way to find the potential value of phages as an indicator of pathogenic microorganisms Vibrio fluvilis Ⅱ in marine environment.
