Red cell concentrates (Hct≥90%) weresuspended in SAGS medium(RCS.contain-ing sodium chloride, adenine, glucose, sucrose),and in H(?)gman's SAGM me-dium (containing sodium chloride, adenine, glucose, mannitol). Both were stored at4?2℃ for 35 days and compared withbiochemical tests. The results of posttrans-fusion survival,ATP,2,3-DPG,pH,K~+ tests between the two preparationswere similar, and the mean values ofinvitro hemolysis of SAGS-RCS was signi-ficantly lower than that of SAGM-RCS,i。e.1.71?0.95g/L and 3.10?0.19g/L res-pectively (P

This study was aimed to observe effects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment from lung on mRNA expressions of iNOS in lung tissues of rats with ulcerative colitis (UC). A total of 52 rats were used to estab-lish the UC rat model by using rabbit intestinal mucosal tissue allergenic model and TNBS-ethanol model (with the model success rate of 78%). Eight rats, which were randomly selected from 40 successfully modeled rats and the normal group, were used as the model group and the normal group before intervention (time point of week zero). The rest 32 successfully modeled rats were randomly divided into the model group, the western medicine (salazosulfapyri-dine) group, treatment from lung (Huang-Qi Jie-Geng, HQJG decoction) group, and treatment from intestine (Huang-Qi Huang-Lian, HQHL decoction) group, with 8 rats in each group. Another 8 normal rats were used as the control group. The intervention was given for 4 weeks. And the mRNA expression of iNOS was detected in week ze-ro, and four weeks after the treatment using real time-PCR. The results showed that in the acute phase of week zero, the mRNA level of iNOS in lung tissues of model group was significantly increased compared with that in normal group (P < 0.05); after 4-week treatment, compared with the normal group, the mRNA level of iNOS in the model group was significantly increased (P< 0.05). Compared with the model group, the mRNA level of iNOS in the treat-ment from lung group was significantly decreased (P < 0.01). It was concluded that NO which was catalyzed and synthesized by iNOS played an important role in pulmonary diseases. It can cause airway inflammation, edema, lung injury, and etc. Treatment from lung can alleviate the lung injury by inhibiting abnormal activation of iNOS.

Objective To study the geographical distribution of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in C city .Methods Based on the theory of multiple regression analysis ,trend surface regression mathematical model was constructed .The latitude and longitude coordinates of different districts and data of HIV/AIDS were collected in the model and the results by ArcGIS software were got ,the trend sur-face analysis chart was drawed at last .Results HIV/AIDS infection rates trend surface regression mathematical model of C city was statistically significant difference(P< 0 .05) ,its goodness-of-fit was 53 .18% .Regions exsisted abnormal residual value and should be the paid attention to explore protective or risk factors in these regions .Conclusion The method can be used in the analy-sis of C city HIV/AIDS epidemic systematic variation in the geographic distribution and local district ,and provide some clues for the local epidemic prevention and controlling of HIV/AIDS .

Objective To investigate the correlation between exhaled nitric oxide and lung function (FEV1)in asthmatic children. Methods Fifty three stable asthmatic children aged 5 to 14 years old were recruited from ShengJing Hospital of China Medical University.According to whether the patients were treated with inhaled corticosteroid(ICS)therapy regularly, they were divided into two groups:steroid group and non-steroid group, then fraction of exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO)and lung function were measured. Results In non-steroid group, the levels of FeNO(mean 40.450±25.428 part by billion)were significantly higher than those in the steroid group(mean 19.879±13.845 part by billion),and they were statistically significant.(P = 0.003).The mean FEVI in non-steroid group was(95.152±8.993)%,and the mean FEVI in non-steroid group was(91.350±11.690)%,and there were no significant differences between two groups (P =0.189).Significantly negative correlation was found between FeNO and FEV1 in steroid group(r =-0.465,P = 0.039),but there was no significant correlation between them in steroid group(r = 0.058,P =0.747).Conclusion The levels of FeNO were higher in non-steroid group than those of the steroid group in the stable asthmatic children.FeNO is a good biomarker to evaluate the airway inflammation of asthmatic children.

OBJECTIVE:To compare in vivo and in vitro permeation behaviors of the ethosome gels of testosterone,testoster-one propionate and testosterone undecanoate. METHODS:The ethosome gels of testosterone, testosterone propionate and testoster-one undecanoate were prepared. With cumulative permeating amount and permeation rate as the indexes,Franz diffusion cell and HPLC were employed to compare in vitro permeation behaviors of 3 kinds of ethosome gels in mouse skin. With testosterone patch as the positive control drug, electrochemistry method was adopted to detect the concentration of testosterone in plasma 0,3,6, 9,12,24,36 and 48 h after applying such 3 kinds of ethosome gels on the back of rats, and then pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated with DAS 2.0 software. RESULTS:24 h cumulative permeating amounts of the ethosome gels of testosterone,tes-tosterone propionate and testosterone undecanoate were(234.31±13.8),(175.63±41.1)and(72.60±15.3)μg/cm2,and the per-meation rates were(10.25±1.9),(7.64±1.4)and(2.96±0.8)μg/(cm2·h),respectively. The pharmacokinetic parameters of the above-mentioned three kinds of ethosome gels and the positive control drug were respectively as follows as cmax of(20.19±2.57), (17.50±2.91),(0.23±0.04),(14.97±2.12)ng/ml,t1/2Ka of(2.80±0.45),(3.36±0.59),(4.02±0.62),(4.20±0.71)h,AUC0-48 h of(13.85±1.96),(13.93±2.13),(0.35±0.07),(11.76±2.31)ng·h/ml. CONCLUSIONS:in vivo and in vitro permeation behav-iors of the ethosome gels of testosterone and testosterone propionate are fairly good.
