Objective To evaluate the therapy and turnover of Kawasaki disease(KD)with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G-6-PD)deficiency.Methods Six hundred and twenty-four patients with KD were selected including 32 patients who had G-6-PD defected.The same dose intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG)was used in all 624 patients(2 g/kg),but used Dipyridamole in 32 patients had G-6-PD deficiency which replaced the role of acetylsalicylic acid(ASA)after acute period.The coronary artery of these patients were checked and followed-up through echocardiograph.The turnover of 32 patients with G-6-PD deficiency and 356 case selected randomly from all the KD patients were compared.SPSS 10.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results In 32 cases of KD with G-6-PD deficiency,4 children had coronary aneurysm(12.5%).After 6-12 months follow-up,the coronary lesions were recovered in 62.5% children,improved in 21.9% children and not improved in 15.6% childern,which were not significantly different from all the KD patients(Z=-1.604 P=1.09).Conclusions IVIG and Dipyridamole are feasible in treating KD with G-6-PD deficiency.J Appl Clin Pediatr,2009,24(1):26-27

Objective To explore if there is a difference in blood pressure in left and right extremities.Methods A total of 20164 adults who took part in health check-up at Health Examination Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital between December 2009 and August 2011were enrolled in this study.Age,height and body weight were recorded,and blood pressure in extremities was measured in synchronous way by using an arteriosclerosis detector.Results (1) Blood pressure in upper left extremity was slightly higher than that in upper and lower right extremity ( all P =0.0001).( 2 ) Difference in diastolic blood pressure in upper left and right limbs in females (2.1±6.7) mm Hg(1mm Hg =0.133 kPa) was more significant than that in males (1.4 +6.5 ) mm Hg ( P =0.0000).In males,difference in systolic blood pressure between two lower extremities ( 2.3 ± 9.6 )mm Hg was more significant than that in females (1.9 ±13.4) mm Hg ( P =0.0225 ).( 3 ) The above mentioned differences were found in low or normal weight and over-weight/obesity populations,which was not correlated with body mess index.(4) The difference of diastolic blood pressure in left and right limbs of relatively taller adults ( ＞170 cm) was more significant than that in shorter populations ( ＜170 cm ) (P =0.001).Conclusion The differences in blood pressure in left and right extremities do exist.

Epidemiological data,clinical observation and animal experiments have shown that cold wave is closely associated with the onset of stroke.When a population with stroke etiology or risk factors is under pre-stroke state,they will have stroke under the influence of various inducing factors.Cold wave is the external factor that causes the body to enter the pre-stroke state and there are many possible mechanisms.The drug intervention of stroke-prone hypertensive rats at 1 week before the cold wave can reduce the occurrence of stroke during cold wave,suggesting that it is of great significance to conduct preventive intervention to the pre-stroke population before the cold wave coming.

Objective To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of zoledronic acid in the treatment of osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture in elderly patients. Methods 100 elderly patients with osteoporotic unstable intertrochanteric fracture treated in our hospital from February 2014 to July 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group. There were 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine treatment (calcitonin), and the experimental group was treated with zoledronic acid.The clinical indicators of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results After the corresponding treatment, the VAS scores of the experimental group and the control group were (0.36±0.42) and (0.34±0.40), and there was no statistical significance. The excellent rate of hip joint function was 82% in the control group, and the excellent and good rate of hip joint function in the experimental group was 80%, which was not statistically significant. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in fracture healing time and complications between the two groups. After 1 years, the hip bone mineral density and the lumbar vertebral bone mineral density were (0.78±0.05) g/cm2, and (0.85±0.06) g/cm2 were significantly higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Zoledronic acid in the treatment of senile osteoporotic unstable intertrochanteric fracture clinical effect is remarkable,can increase bone mineral density in a large extent, the joint recovery had no effect, has clinical significance.

ObjectiveTo discuss the expression of VEGF and COX-2 in breast cancer and their correlation with Clinical relationships.MethodsWith Elivision immunohistochemistry,the expression of VEGF and COX-2 was evaluated in 60 samples with primary breast cancer,and it was determined that the correlation of their expression and the clinical features including age,tumor size,clinical TNM staging,pathological grading,armpit lymph node metastasis and prognosis. ResultsThe expression of VEGF had close correlation with tumor size, the clinical TNM staging, pathological grading, and armpit lymph node metastasis (P ＜0.05),but had no correlation with age.The expression of COX-2 had close correlation with the clinical TNM staging pathological grading, and armpit lymph node metastasis (P ＜0.05), but had no correlation with age and tumor size. The expression of VEGF had positive correlation with that of COX-2 (r =0.2615, P ＜0.05);In the death group, the expression of VEGF and COX-2 was significantly higher than the survival group (P ＜0.05).ConclusionThe up-regulated expression of VEGF and COX-2 closely correlated with tumor take place, evolution, metastasis and soake of breast carcinoma. The expression of COX-2 had positive correlation with that of VEGF.Combined detection would be helpful in screening the patients of breast cancer with high risks of recurrence and metastasis, judge the prognosis, so it is good for further treatment.

The paper is about the systematic studies of biological characteristics of 15 stains rhizobia isolated purified from Acacia confusa grew in Guangxi karst environment.The results showed that there were typical characteristics of rhizobia.there were negative reaction about use of 3-ketolactose and beef extract peptone nutrient agar medium,and positive reaction about use of starch and citrate medium,and produce acid in reaction of BTB and litmus milk medium,(NH4)2HPO4 was used as nitrogen sources and both four monosaccharides and three disaccharides could be utilized as carbon sources in 15 strains rhizobia isolated Acacia confuse.Among the 15 strains for the tests,11 strains could deoxidize the nitrate of medium into nitrite,14 strains could grow well on NaCl solution concentration 3.0 %～4.0 %,14 strains could grow at 39℃,13 strains may grow on highest pH12 and 4 strains on lowest pH4 cultrue medium.15 strains can grow in 10% and 11 strains in 10%～30% of CaCO3 solution concentration.
