Objective To discuss a method to show the structure of small mammary gland well by computed radiography(CR).Methods By analyzing 150 radiographs of mammary glands, the results showed that the mammary structure showed well whether or not was depended on the size of mammary gland.Using 24 steps aluminum ladder mimiced the small mammary gland and radiography was taken with various parameters and different imaging plate(IP) shading ways, then processed and printed, after that it was measured by density instrument. Results The display of grey scale of 24 steps aluminum ladder was improved if shading 10~15 mm margin of the IP by collimator or shading the central by a square cuprum plate with 22 mm length and 0.2 mm thickness.Radiography of small mammary gland by the same way was performed and the mammary structure was also showed well. Conclusion Shading the exposing areas properly by collimator or cuprum plate during CR can apparently improve the display of small mammary structure.

Objective To investigate the effect of arsenic(As2O3) on spermatogenic cell apoptosis and the expression of telomerase activity in adult rats. Methods 40 healthy male Sprague-Dawle rats were randomly divided into four groups and they were treated with As2O3 at doses of 0(control group),0.375,0.75 and 1.5 mg/kg body weight respectively through gavage for 16 consecutive weeks. The numbers of testicular sperm head were counted and the coefficient of testicular viscera, daily sperm production(DSP) were calculated in every group. The apoptosis of germ cell was assessed by in situ terminal deoxynucleotityl transferase mediated dTUP nick end labeling(TUNEL) technique. The activity of telomerase in the spermatogenic cells was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results In the testes of As2O3-treated rats, the coefficient of testicular viscera, the number of testicular sperm head and DSP in moderate and high dose groups decreased significantly than that of control(P

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(01):-
The important function of the gastrointestinal tract in monitoring and sealing the host intestine from intruders is called the gut barrier.A variety of specific and nonspecific mechanisms are in operation to establish the host barrier, including luminal mechanism, secretion of the digestive enzymes, the epithelial cells together with tight junctions between them and the gut immune system. The pathogenesis of gut barrier dysfuntion is multifactorial. They can lead to the translocation of the intestinal bacteria.Sometimes, even the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome can happen.Nitric oxide, one of the smallest products of the cell,is known to have a very large role in diverse physiologic and pathological processes.Recent study shows its toxic metabolite,peroxynitrite(ONOO~(-)),play a major role in the intestinal mucosal injury. The purpose of this literature review is to provide a better understanding of the mechanism of the protection and injury to the gut barrier function about nitric oxide and peroxynitrite.

Telemedicine is a medical type that develops with communication and information technology. Its main goal is to provide professional health care for poor areas or rescue of dangerous patients. It integrates long-range communication technology, medical technology and health informatics technology. The development of telemedicine system has gone through the first telemedicine system based on wired telephone, microwave and satellite communications on behalf of the second generation of long-distance medical system until today's mobile communications and the Internet which represent the third generation.Telemedicine has been widely applied, for example, remote diagnosis and treatment, remote consultation, remote surgery, telemonitoring and remote rescue. At present, telemedicine has become a multi-disciplinary high-tech that develops very rapidly, and a new model of health care service into the armed forces medical services and medical care.

Oncology is extensive in contents, covering a wide range of organs, systems and clinical specialties. Here,we discuss the feasibility and necessity of flipping the classroom teaching through the introduction of Oncology and through the implementation of flip classroom teaching for oncology graduate students, this paper analyzes the evaluation of the classroom teaching by the teachers and students, and compares the assessment results of students under different teaching methods. The results show that the flipped class can promote students' initiative learning, promote students' classroom participation, and help students to internalize and consolidate their knowledge of oncology in the theoretical teaching of graduate oncology.

Objectives: To assess the feasibility and stability of right ventricular outflow tract (ROVT) pacing under current technology by comparing the results of ROVT pacing with the traditional right ventricular apex (RVA) pacing. Methods: A total of 42 patients (at mean age of 63.5±10.4 years) without structural heart disease were randomly divided into two groups. RVA pacing group (n=14),and RVOT pacing group(n=28). An active fixation lead was implanted in all patients whose pacemaker could automatically measure the pacing threshold every day. The operation time,X-ray exposure time and lead parameters detected during the operation were collected to evaluate the feasibility of RVOT pacing. The complications related to lead and implantation procedure and the trend of threshold change during the follow-up time were used to assess the stability of RVOT pacing. Results: There were no statistic differences between RVA pacing group and RVOT pacing group in terms of operation time,X-ray exposure time and lead parameters. In RVOT group, the change of threshold during acute period was similar to those in RVA group (P=0.23). Chronic pacing threshold was also comparable between two groups, mean threshold at 6 months follow-up time was 0.55±0.11V and 0.54±0.09V at 0.4 pulse width in RVA group and RVOT group respectively (P=0.787).Conclusion: RVOT pacing was feasible and stable in operation time and lead characteristics compared with the conventional RVA pacing under current pacing technology.
