The process of liver metastasis of colorectal cancer includes tumor cells invasion, survival in blood stream, extravasation to the liver and proliferation. It is involved in series of molecular markers, among which vascular endothelial growth factor and endothelial growth factor receptor are the major targets.

Objective:To study the effects of IGF-1 on the proliferation, total protein amount and cytodifferentiation of mouse dental follicle cells. Methods:The dental follicle cells of passage 3 were incubated with different concentrations((0.005),0.01,0.05,0.1 and 0.5 mg/L)of IGF-1 respectively, cell proliferation, alkaline phosphatase(ALP),total protein amount were measured by MTT assay and spectrophotometer respectively.Effects of 0.05 and 0.1 mg/L IGF-1 on mineralization potential were studied by Von Kossa staining.Results:IGF-1(ml/L) at 0.005~0.1 increased the proliferation and total protein amount(P
5.Inhibitory Effect of Chinese Herbal Compound Dongju on Tongue Carcinogenesis in Rats
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(10):-
Objective To examine the inhibitory effect of Chinese herbal Compound Dongju on 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide(4NQO)-induced tongue carcinogenesis in rats. Methods A total of 85 Wistar rats were divided into four groups: model group(n=35),administration group(n=35),normal control group(n=5) and herb control group(n=10).4NQO dissolved in drinking water was administered orally to induce tongue carcinogenesis in rats. The herb compound was injected into the stomach of the rats during oral carcinogenesis.Rats were sacrificed at 9,13,20,24 and 32 weeks from the beginning of the experiment. The tongues of the rats were dissected for gross and histological assessment, and SP immunohistochemical method was also employed to detect the expression of cyclin D1 in the specimens. Results Compared with the model group, the incidence of dysplasia and the positive rate of cyclin D1 were suppressed by Compound Dongju(P
6.Clinical analysis of lower respiratory tract fungal infection in patients with mechanical ventilation in emergency intensive care unit
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, pathogen distribution and outcome of lower respiratory tract fungal infection in patients with mechanical ventilation in emergency intensive care unit(EICU). Methods The clinical data of patients with lower respiratory tract fungal infection treated with mechanical ventilation in EICU were retrospectively analysed. Results Eighty(64.5%) of the 124 patients with mechanical ventilation experienced lower respiratory tract infection, among whom 21(26.2%) were complicated with fungal infection. The predominant pathogen was Candida(Candida albicans,n=11;Candida tropicalis,n=5;Candida smooth,n=3;Candida parapsilosis,n=2).Compared with patients with non-fungal infection(n=59),those with fungal infection(n=21) had higher APACHE II score, longer mechanical ventilation time and longer ICU stay duration(P

Objective To investigate value of real-time three-dimensional echocardiography timingexcursion parametric index and 17 segment volume curves index in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy and constrictive pericardits.MethodsSeventeen patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy (proven by biopsy) ,six patients with constrictive pericardits (proven by CT or surgical),twenty subjects with normal left ventricular(LV) function were examined by Philips iE33 with X3-1 probe. Results Parameter index of Tmsv 16-SD,Tmsv 12-SD Tmsv 6-SD,Tmsv 16-Dif,Tmsv 12-Dif,Tmsv 6-Dif,Tmsv 16-SD(%) ,Tmsv 12-SD(%),Tmsv 6-SD(%),Tmsv 16-Dif(%),Tmsv 12-Dif(%),Tmsv 6-Dif(%) was significantly higher in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy than that in subjects with normal LV function(all P <0.05).Average and maximum value and minimum of excursion was significantly lower in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy than that in subjects with normal LV function (all P <0.005).Whereas,compare with subjects with normal LV function, the parametric indexes of timing-excursion and 17 segment volume curves were not significantly difference in patients with constrictive pericardits(all P >0.05).Conclusions Realtime three-dimensional echocardiography can evaluate and diagnose fastly restrictive cardiomyopathy and constrictive pericardits.

Objective To investigate the value of real-time three-dimensional echocardiography timing-excursion parametric index and 17 segment volume curves index in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy. Methods Eight patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy (proven by biopsy),twenty eight subjects with normal left ventricular(LV) function were examined by Philips iE33 with X3-1 probe. Results Parameter index of the SD and maximum difference of Tmsv of 16 segments,12 segments, and 6 basal segments(Tmax 16SD,Tmsv-12SD Tmsv -6SD,Tmsv-16Dif,Tmsv-12 Dif,Tmsv-6Dif,Tmsv 16-SD%,Tmsv 12-SD%,Tmsv 6-SD%,Tmsv 16-Dif%,Tmsv 12-Dif%,Tmsv 6-Dif%) was significantly higher in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy than that in subjects with normal LV function(all P<0.001).Average and maximum value and minimum of excursion was significantly lower in patients with restrictive cardiomyopathy than that in subjects with normal LV function(P<0.001,P<0.005,P<0.005).And parameter index of 17 segment volume curves index showed higher sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for diagnose restrictive cardiomyopathy. Conclusions Real-time threedimensional echocardiography can evaluate and diagnose restrictive cardiomyopathy fastly.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(6):1273-1278
The purpose of this study was to identify specific microRNAs (miRNAs) during differentiation and maturation of interneurons and to predict their possible functions by analyzing the expression of miRNAs during in vitro differentiation of the rat interneuron precursor cell line GE6. In the experiment, the interneuron precursor cell line GE6 was cultured under three different conditions, i. e. the first was that had not added growth factors and the normal differentiation cultured for 4 days (Ge6_4d); the second was that cultured with bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP2) for 4 days (Ge6_bmp2); and the third was that cultured with sonic hedgehog (SHH) for 4 days (Ge6_ shh). In addition, another group of undifferentiated GE6 (Ge6_u) was applied as a control. We found in this study that the expression levels of a large number of miRNAs changed significantly during GE6 differentiation. The expression levels of miR-710, miR-290-5p and miR-3473 increased in the GE6 cells with secreted factor BMP2. These miRNAs may play important regulatory roles during interneuron differentiation.
