In 2014,serious Ebola fever epidemic broke out in West Africa .Afterwards, the US transported two Ebola patients from Liberia by air, which aroused world wide concern .During the aeromedical evacuation , there were lots of tech-nical problems and management procedures involved .First, the US government toke emergency measures for the patients in a local hospital ,which made evacuation possible .Secondly , the US CDC and other government departments coordinated this matter during and after the evacuation .Finally, upon arrival at home the two patients received careful isolation and treat-ment.Thus, the successful aeromedical evacuation is instructive for us .

Objective To explore a better method to repair cervical cicatricle contracture deformity. Methods The cervicai cicatrical contraction deformity was repaird by the cervico-shoulder island skin flap with blood supply crossing and abundant anastomotic branches of the neck-shoulder blood vessels. After removing the cervical scar, the flaps were designed according to the size of the wound to be repaired, and the clinical anatomy of crossing and abundant anastomotic branches of the neck-shoulder blood vessels. The secondary wound of donor site was closed directly if the donor region was small, or closed by skin graft. Results Sixteen patients in this clinic were operated with this method, and venous return dysfunction occurred in 1 case, but blood circulation was improved after treatment. All the flaps survived with good appearance and texture. The extensive flap was created and transferred to the anterior neck by one stage without pre-expansion which met some patients'requirement of repairing cervical cicatricle contracture deformity. Conclusion The cervico-shoulder island skin flap, with abundant blood supply, is a new method to repair cervical cicatricle contracture deformity.

Objective To explore the in vitro spermostatic effects and the mechanisms of ceritinib,a novel candidate from the active compound pools previously screened for the regulation of sperm function. Methods The vigor sperm of human and mouse were incubated with ceritinib for 20seconds,and the sperm motility was evaluated by computer assistant sperm analysis (CASA).The integrity of the sperm plasma membrane and the survival ratio of sperm was assessed by hypo-osmotic swelling (HOS) assay and SYBR-14/PI staining. The damage of sperm plasma membrane was detected by electron microscope. The cytotoxicity of ceritinib to VK2/E6E7,End1/E6E7 and Ect1/E6E7 cells was measured by CCK-8 assay and fluorescent staining. Results The minimal effective concentration (MEC) of ceritinib to (5-10) × 106/mL human sperm within 20 seconds was (74.87 ± 31.46)μmol/L,which was significantly lower than the MEC of nonoxynol-9 (219.75 ± 20.89) μmol/L measured in the same condition. The time-dose related spermostatic effects of ceritinib were measured by CASA system.Ceritinib was able to damage sperm membrane and caused sperm death with HOS and SYBR-14/PI staining. With electron microscopy, the sperm membrane was observed to be ruptured, and the heads and tails of sperm were separated by ceritinib.Ceritinib was also able to damage the epithelial cells. Conclusions Ceritinib has acute spermostatic effects and potential contraceptive effects.
7.Clinical application on innovated burning rush moxibustion.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2012;32(3):237-239
On the basis of traditional burning rush moxibustion, Dr. DIAO Ben-shu innovated moxibustion device and technique. Many different herbal medicines are selected to prepare moxa stick, a matchstick in size. After ignited, this stick burns swiftly and directly at acupoint in human body so that the meridian qi circulation is invigorated and the disease is prevented and treated. Diao's moxa stick technique is characterized as scientific preparation, safe and simple operation and quick efficacy. A better efficacy is achieved in clinical practice. The operation and clinical application of Diao's moxa stick technique as well as the theory of moxibustion are discussed and analyzed in this paper.

Objective To learn the status of social support for patients with rheumatoid arthritis and formulate the theoretical basis for providing physical and psychological nursing. Methods A total of 112 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were investigated with the social support. Results The total score of social support was (36.56±7.97) in the patients with rheumatoid arthritis, which showed significantly different compared with the norm(33.05±3.85 ).Subjective support was influenced by course and hospitalizations, while Objective support was influenced by medical treatment fee and joint function.Marriage, hospitalization and joint function had influenced the utilization degree of support. Conclusions the patients with comprehensive assessment should nurse social support for patients, provide proper social support and guide patients of social support network, develop a new social support network and social support network using active rheumatoid arthritis to strengthen the social support.

OBJECTIVETo introduce a new technique for reduction mammaplasty appropriate to moderate or heavy hypertrophic breast.
METHODSThe superior-lateral dermo-glandular pedicle flap including the nipple-areola complex was created. After the extra glandular tissue was removed, the superior-lateral dermo-glandular pedicle with the nipple-areola complex was rotated, adjusted, sculptured and fixed to the thoracic wall so as to fashion a breast with natural projection and proper shape. This method was used in 4 patients(8 breasts).
RESULTSThe operation results were satisfactory without complications. The breasts maintained nice configuration and good function, with well lactating in one case.
CONCLUSIONThe technique of reduction mammaplasty with the superior-lateral dermo-glandular pedicle is a reasonable method to obtain nice breast configuration and good function.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinical effects of Achillon for the treatment of acute Achilles tendon rupture (AATR).
METHODSFrom April 2009 to April 2010, 19 patients with AATR who were treated with Achillon were retrospectively analyzed. There were 17 males and 2 females, with an average age of 40.2 years (30 to 58 years). There were 9 cases of sports injury, and 2 case of fall injury. The time from injury to surgery ranged from 0 to 8 days (2.2 days on average). The results of Thompson test and single heel rise test were positive in 19 cases. Clinical data were assessed with the patient satisfaction and the AOFAS hindfoot score during follow-up.
RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 12 to 28 months (19.9 months on average). The average operation time was 41 minutes. There were no wound infections, recurrent rupture, or sural nerve complications. At the latest follow-up, 18 patients were totally satisfied with the surgical result, 1 patient feel generally due to mild pain when running. None of the patients were dissatisfied with the final results the latest follow-up. At the latest follow-up, the AOFAS score was 98.42 +/- 3.29 (89 to 100). All the patients regained normal range of motion and were able to resume their previous activities at six months after operation, with a high rate of satisfaction. Average decreased of mid-calf circumference was (0.82 +/- 0.85) cm (ranged from 0 to 3 cm).
CONCLUSIONTreatment with Achillon is safe, effective for AATR with low incidence of complications and early active rehabilitation can be carried out. It is a good method to treat AATR.
