Journal of Environment and Health 1989;0(06):-
Objective To understand the body burden of PAES in the children aged 10-12 years, living in city and countryside and estimate the potential hazard of PAEs for the children. Methods The reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) was employed to determine the serum level of three kinds PAEs (DEP,DBP and DEHP) in two groups of children, including 36 city children and 38 countryside children in Jan. 2007. Results In the city children, the average serum level (median) of PAEs was 0.002 6 mg/L for DEP,0.035 9 mg/L for DBP and 0.106 25 mg/L for DEHP. In the countryside children, the serum level of PAEs was 0.000 0 mg/L for DEP,0.040 6 mg/L for DBP and 0.052 45 mg/L for DEHP. The differences of average levels of DEP and DEHP between the two groups were significant (P

Objective To study comparatively the clinical efficacy of pelvic floor muscle exercise (PFMlE)and surgical therapy in women with moderate stress urinary incontinence(SUI),in order to provide theoretical reference for finding an appropriate SUI treatment method. Methods 114 cases of women with moderate SUI were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The control group Wag given surgical thempy. while the treatment group was given the PFME treatment. After 12 weeks the clinical efficacy and quality of life of the two groups were evaluated, the cost-benefit was analyzed. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.2%.higher than 83.9% of the control group. Compared with before treatment, the I-QOL scores of the two groups increased significantly, the ICIQ scores of the two groups decreased significantly, and the treatment group was significantly different compared with the control group. The cost-benefit analysis showed that the total medical cost and the spending cost of the total clinical effective rate increased l percent and the I-QOL increased 1 score were significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusions The PFME therapy of women with moderate SUI is the preferred treatment and it is worthy of promotion and application.

The evaluation of quality of life after stroke primarily includes body, psychology, society, and the ability of activities of daily living, and they can be mainly obtained from self rating quality of life by the patients,The commonly used evaluation methods include six generic measurement scales and four updated Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scales. The latter includes the Stroke Adapted Sickness Impact Profile, the Stroke Impact Scale,Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scales, and Stroke and Aphasia Quality of Life Scale. This article reviews the generic meas- urement scales,Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scales and the various factors that influencing quality of life after stroke.

Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMP) in gestational trophoblastie diseases and its invasiveness. Methods The expression and distribution of MMP-7,MMP-9,TIMP-1 and TIMP-2 were determined by immunohistochemistry PV-6000 in 49 cases of hydatidiform mole (eight of them with malignant transformation),six cases of invasive hydatidiform mole, two cases of choriocarcinoma and 18 cases with normal villi in early pregnancy. Results The expression of MMP-7,MMP-9,TIMP-2 and MMP- 9/TIMP-1 was significantly higher in choriocareinoma, invasive mole and malignant transformed mole than that in normal villi in early pregnancy and non-malignant transformed mole (F=10.950,7.760,7.304, 3.442;P

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
Objective To study the physiological properties of a potassium channel in the basolateral membrane (BLM) of proximal tubule. Methods Nephrons were dissected from rat kidney under a stereoscopic microscope. The standard configuration for single channel tight seal patch clamp technique was used to record channel currents from the BLM. Results A kind of potassium channel with low conductance and inward rectification was easily recorded in the BLM of the proximal tubule. The channel current occurred spontaneously in 81% seals made on the BLM. In the patches, with no spontaneous channel activity, the channel current occurred when the pressure increased. In the inside out configuration, run down was present in channel activity. The open dwelling time constants of the potassium channel were 0.524 ms and 5.087 ms, while the closed dwelling time constants were 1.029 ms and 16.500 ms. Conclusion A type of potassium channels with low conductance, stretch sensibility and chemistry sensibility, presenting kinetic properties as two opening and two closing states, are widely distributed in the basolateral membrane of proximal tubule.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of anisodamine (Ani) injection on the survival rate and histologic result of flaps with ischemia-reperfusion injury, so as to demonstrate the protective effect of Ani on the flap survival.
METHODSA total of 48 healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into model control, normal saline(NS) and anisodamine groups, with 16 rats in each group. An 3 cm x 6 cm axial flap was formed at the right lower abdomen with abdominal superficial blood vessel as the pedicle. 0.5 cm x 0.5 cm skin tissue was taken from the middle part of flaps in each group, immediately after operation, 12, 18, 24 h after operation. The superoxide dismutase (SOD), nitric oxide (NO), nuclear factor-kappaB contents in the specimens were detected. The histologic study was also performed. The flap survival rate was recorded 7 days after operation.
RESULTSFlap survival rate was (78.6 +/- 7.3) % in Anisodamine group. 12, 18, 24 h after reperfusion injury, the SOD was (103.3 +/- 3.9), (82.6 +/- 3.8), (67.5 +/- 4.6) U/mg; the NO was (5.33 +/- 2.05), (4.75 +/- 1.68), (4.15 +/-1.59) nmol/mg; the NF-kappaB was 0.211 +/- 0.039, 0.313 +/- 0.033, 0.096 +/- 0.028. The contents of SOD, NO and NF-kappaB had the statistical difference of at different time. The skin pathological changes in Anisodamine group was obviously better than those in NS group. Flap survival rate in Anisodamine group was significantly higher than that in NS group.
CONCLUSIONSIn the flap with ischemia-reperfusion injury, Anisodamine can reduce the damage of free radical, increase the blood flow, reduce the production of NF-KB, decrease inflammatory reaction. So Anisodamine can increase the survival rate of flaps with ischemia reperfusion injury.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
The infection of hepatitis B virus(HBV) is a serious global public health problem around the world, with high incidence and fatality rate, especially in China. The study of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chronic hepatitis B(CHB) had been heavily concerned. The rapid development of molecular biology technology and the wide application of biotherapy techniques have provided the important theoretical foundation for HBV detection, diagnosis and treatment. This article summarized the study progress of clinical and laboratory examination of CHB.

Objective To explore the characteristics of diagnosis a nd treatment of testicular trauma. Methods A retrospective study was done on 30 cases of testicular trauma. The treatment effects of non -operation and operation on different types of injuries were observed and com pared. Results Follow-up time ranged from two months to tw o years. There were three cases with testicular atrophy, one with chronic pain l asting for one year and eight with non-operation. All of 22 cases treated with surgical operation were good except for one with sperm disorder due to bilateral testicular trauma. Conclusions Testicular trauma is a speci al type of trauma. Ultrasound is an important diagnostic method for testicular trauma. Surgical exploration should be performed as soon as possible so as to a void testicular atrophy and sperm disorder.
