2.Application of intracranial pressure monitoring in children with severe traumatic brain injury
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;41(6):601-603
Intracranial pressure monitoring is a mainstay in the management of children with severe traumatic brain injury. The research issues on the intracranial pressure monitoring have become important for neurocritical care. This paper has reviewed the significance of intracranial pressure monitoring in children with severe traumatic brain injury.
3.Screening of Auramine O in Guci Tablets by HPLC
China Pharmacist 2015;(1):172-173
Objective:To screen auramine O in Guci tablets. Methods:Auramine O was detected by HPLC method on a Diamon-sil-C18(250mm×4.6mm,5μm)columnwiththemobilephaseofacetonitrile-0.025mol·L-1monopotassiumphosphatebuffersolu-tion(containing 0. 2% triethylamine, adjusting pH to 3. 0 with phosphoric acid)(36∶65)at the flow rate of 0. 8 ml·min-1. The detec-tion wavelength was 432 nm and the column temperature was 35℃. Results:The LOD of auramine O was 0. 05ng. Among 45 batches of tested samples, auramine O was found in seven ones. Conclusion:The method is simple, rapid and accurate, which can guarantee the drug safety of Guci tablets.
4.Clinical observation on the treatment of distal radius fractures operation
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(17):18-20
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of distal radius fractures operation. Methods Eighty distal radius fractures patients who were treated from January 2010 to January 2011 were divided into observation group and control group by random digits table method, each group had 40 cases. The observation group was treated with plate internal fixation, the control group took closed reduction and splint external fixation. The palmar tilt, radial ulnar deviation, axial shortening before treatment and after treatment for 3 months were compared between two groups. The clinical curative effect after treatment for 1 year was compared. Results The palmar tilt, radial ulnar deviation, axial shortening before treatment between two groups had no significant difference (P > 0.05).After treatment for 3 months, the palmar tilt, radial ulnar deviation, axial shortening in observation group were (17.0 ± 1.6)°,(23.0 ± 2.1)°,(1.0 ± 0.2) mm,in control group were (4.0 ± 0.8)°,(10.0 ± 1.1)°,(4.0 ± 1.1) mm,there was significant difference(P< 0.05).After treatment for 1 year, the excellent and good rate in observation group was 90.0%(36/40),significantly higher than that in control group [50.0% (20/40)] (P < 0.05).Conclusion Plate internal fixation in the treatment of distal radius fractures is more conductive to the wrist recovery of joint structure and function, reduce the occurrence of wrist joint dysfunction, improve the quality of life, and is worth to be applied in clinic.
5.Hepcidin measurement in the differential diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia and anemia of chronic disease
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(18):2469-2470
Objective To explore the value of hepcidin measurement in differential diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia(IDA) and anemia of chronic diseases(ACD) .Methods Serum hepcidin was measured by using ELISA .Serum iron(SI) and total iron binding capacity(TIBC) were determined by using Ferro zine colorimetric method .Results Hepcidin expression increased in ACD group (P<0 .05) ,but decreased in IDA group(P<0 .05) .The area under the curve of ROC for hepcidin ,SI and TIBC were 0 .97 ,0 .66 and 0 .85 respectively .Conclusion Hepcidin is a simple and safe indicator in differential diagnosis of IDA and ACD ,and its diagnos-tic accuracy is better than SI and TIBC .
7.Nursing of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease treated by intracranial stent
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(3):1-2
Objective To evaluate the nursing methods of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease treated by intracranial stent. Methods 90 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease in our hospital during March 2006 to March 2010 were selected, their clinical nursing measures were summarized. Results All patients passed the treatment process, mean hospital stay was ( 19.8 ± 4.0)days. Conclusions Elaborate nursing to patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease treated by intracranial stent can effectively reduce the average length of hospital stay.
8.Assessment of the social disability of elderly patients with urinary incontinence
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(8):56-58
Objective This study is to conduct an overall assessment of social function of elderly pa-tients with urinary incontinence (UI) and the factors that affect the social function exactly. Thus, some nurs-ing intervention can be put forward for the patients. Methods The investigation was carried out with inter-national consultation on incontinence questionnaire short form (ICI-Q-SF), incontinence quality-of-life scale (I-QOL) and social disability screening schedule (SDSS). Results The mean score of SDSS of patients was 4.0, this score was between patients with neurosis and patients with mental illness. The number of elderly pa-tients with UI investigated in this research who had social disability was 90. The incidence of social disability was 81.82%. Age and UI were the main factors affecting the social function of elderly patients with UI. There was significant correlation between social function and quality of life, the more serious of social disability, the poor of life quality. Conclusions Significant social disability exists in the investigated elderly patients with urinary incontinence. Some effective nursing interventions must be taken to improve the situation and increase their survival quality.
9.Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of central nervous system demyelination in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(24):1851-1853
Central nervous system demyelination in children include acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM),multiple sclerosis (MS),optic neuritis(ON),transverse myelitis(TM),neuromyelitis optica(NMO).Most of these conditions are thought to be caused by immune -mediated demyelination triggered by an infectious agent in a ge-netically susceptible host. There are certain differences, including clinical features and imaging features, for these condi-tions.With the possible exception of the NMO -IgG autoantibody found in NMO,there are no disease -specific biomar-kers for these conditions, making it difficult to distinguish among them at the time of the initial presentation. However, certain clinical features, laboratory results, and imaging findings can usually lead to the correct diagnosis.MS is to a large extent still a diagnosis of exclusion, and therefore requires intense investigation for other conditions that might present in a similar manner.
