Objective To describe the prevalence of aggressive behavior among preschool children and its related family factors.Methods 1234 preschool children in ten kindergartens were rated on their aggressive behavior by their parents,using Child Behavior Checklist(CBCI),Parent Behavior Inventory(PBI)and a general questionnaire.Results The overall prevalence of aggressive behavior among preschool children was 12.9％(95％ CI:11.0-15.0)according to the CBCL assessment,with the rate being slight higher(13.7％,93/680)in boys than in girls(11.9％,66/554).Data from logistic regression analysis showed that parents' hostile/coercive parenting style(OR=2.396,95％CI:1.636-3.510)and inconsistent parenting attitude between parents and grandparents(OR=1.867,95％ CI:1.287-2.710)would lead to more aggressive behaviors in preschool children.Compared with childen without difficulty in falling asleep,those who often(OR=3.415,95％ CI:1.901-6.135)or sometimes(OR=2.147,95％ CI:1.256-3.671)had problem falling asleep at night had more aggressive behaviors.On the other hand,factors as:watching TV less than 1 hour each day (OR=0.252,95％ CI:0.136-0.467),father in older age(OR=0.703,95％ CI:0.503-0.983)and participating in regular outdoor activitiess(OR=0.6 1 7,95％CI:0.399-0.955)were protective factors to the aggressive behaviors of the children.Conclusion The prevalence of aggressive behavior in preschool children was high which called for more attention.Intervention programs targeting the family should consider the influencing factors as ways of parenting,consistent attitude on parenting in the family etc.to reduce the occurrence of aggressive behavior among preschool children.

Neospora caninum is the etiologic agent of bovine neosporosis, which affects the reproductive performance of cattle worldwide. The transmembrane protein, NcSRS2, and dense-granule protein, NcGRA7, were identified as protective antigens based on their ability to induce significant protective immune responses in murine neosporosis models. In the current study, NcSRS2 and NcGRA7 genes were spliced by overlap-extension PCR in a recombinant adenovirus termed Ad5-NcSRS2-NcGRA 7, expressing the NcSRS2-NcGRA7 gene, and the efficacy was evaluated in mice. The results showed that the titer of the recombinant adenovirus was 10(9)TCID50/ml. Three weeks post-boost immunization (w.p.b.i.), the IgG antibody titer in sera was as high as 1:4,096. IFN-gamma and IL-4 levels were significantly different from the control group (P<0.01). This research established a solid foundation for the development of a recombinant adenovirus vaccine against bovine N. caninum.

Objective To master the prevalence status of schistosomiasis in Yunnan Province in 2016,so as to provide the evidence for formulating the control strategy and intervention measures. Methods The schistosomiasis heavy-endemic villages were selected from each of 18 endemic counties as the survey sites. Then,the serological and etiological tests were carried out in the local residents and floating population,and the infection status of the livestock,field feces and Oncomelania hupensis snails were surveyed. Results The serum positive rate of schistosomiasis of local residents was 8.78％and the serum positive rate was 2.26％of floating population. No schistosome eggs were found in the stool examinations in the population. The area with snails was 80.0546 hm2 in 2016 with an increasing rate of 45.47％compared to that in 2015. The average density of living snails was 0.0317/0.1 m2. No schistosome-infected snails were found for the last four years and no new area with snails was found for the last three years. No positive livestock or feces were found. Conclusions The schistosomiasis epidemic situation is stabilized in Yunnan Province in 2016. However,the area with snails and the number of living snails are increasing,and therefore,the schis-tosomiasis epidemic risk still exists. So,the comprehensive control measures should be strengthened continuously.

Echinococcus granulosus is an important zoonotic parasite globally causing cystic echinococcosis (CE) in humans and animals. In this study, prevalence of CE and variation of cox1 gene sequence were analyzed with isolates E. granulosus collected from different areas in northern Xinjiang, China. The survey showed that 3.5% of sheep and 4.1% of cattle were infected with CE. Fragment of cox1 was amplified from all the positive sheep and cattle samples by PCR. In addition, 26 positive samples across the 4 areas were included. The isolates were all E. granulosus sensu stricto (s.s.) containing 15 haplotypes (Hap1-15), and clustered into 2 genotypes, G1 (90.1%, 91/101) and G3 (9.9%, 10/101). Hap1 was the most common haplotype (48.5%, 49/101). Hap9 were found in humans samples, indicating that sheep and cattle reservoir human CE. It is indicate that E. granulosus may impact on control of CE in livestock and humans in the region.

OBJECTIVETo report clinical experience of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, duodenostomy, jejunostomy in 120 patients, focusing on its technique and indications.

METHODSOne hundred and twenty patients received percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, duodenostomy, jejunostomy from May 2001 to April 2004, including 75 percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), 42 percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ), 2 percutaneous endoscopic duodenostomy (PED), 1 direct percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (DPEJ). All tubes established by traditional pull technique.

RESULTSThe average duration of PEG was (9 +/- 4) min, PEJ (17 +/- 6) min, DPEJ 20 min, and PED was 10 and 12 min for 2 patients, respectively. Success rate of the technique was 98.4% (120/122). Major complication rate was 0.8% (1/120), and minor complication rate was 7.5% (9/120). Clinical indications: PEG, PED and PEJ were applied for long-term enteral nutritional support in 88 patients, gastrointestinal decompression in 25 patients, and transfusing external drainage bile to gastrointestinal tract in 5 patients. Two radiation enteritis patients used PEG for gastrointestinal decompression preoperatively and long-term enteral nutritional support postoperatively.

CONCLUSIONPEG, PED PEJ and DPEJ are easily handled, effective and safe, and may be widely used in clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the attributable risk(AR)of Acinetobacter baumannii(AB)infection in criti-cally ill patients.Methods A multicenter retrospective cohort study was conducted among adult patients in inten-sive care unit(ICU).Patients with AB isolated from sterile body fluid and confirmed with AB infection in each cen-ter were selected as the infected group.According to the matching criteria that patients should be from the same pe-riod,in the same ICU,as well as with similar APACHE Ⅱ score(±5 points)and primary diagnosis,patients who did not infect with AB were selected as the non-infected group in a 1:2 ratio.The AR was calculated.Results The in-hospital mortality of patients with AB infection in sterile body fluid was 33.3％,and that of non-infected group was 23.1％,with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P=0.069).The AR was 10.2％(95％CI:-2.3％-22.8％).There is no statistically significant difference in mortality between non-infected pa-tients and infected patients from whose blood,cerebrospinal fluid and other specimen sources AB were isolated(P＞0.05).After infected with AB,critically ill patients with the major diagnosis of pulmonary infection had the high-est AR.There was no statistically significant difference in mortality between patients in the infected and non-infec-ted groups(P＞0.05),or between other diagnostic classifications.Conclusion The prognosis of AB infection in critically ill patients is highly overestimated,but active healthcare-associated infection control for AB in the ICU should still be carried out.

A three-level (provincial, municipal and county levels) schistosomiasis diagnosis network platform had been created in Yunnan Province, and assessment of laboratory quality-control samples and field evaluation of nucleic acid diagnostic techniques and immunodiagnostic reagents had been performed. This paper described the review process of the schistosomiasis diagnosis network laboratory and the operation of schistosomiasis diagnosis network laboratory and analyzed the problems of the schistosomiasis diagnosis network laboratory in Yunnan Province. The establishment of the schistosomiasis diagnosis reference (network) laboratory will provide a strong support for schistosomiasis control in Yunnan Province in the new era.

Objective: To evaluate and compare the short-term efficacy of domestic mechanical-locked (Clip2Edge) and elastic self-locked (ValveClip) transcranial mitral valve edge-to-edge interventional repair (TEER) devices in the treatment of functional mitral regurgitant valves. Methods: In this retrospective non-randomized comparative study, patients underwent TEER procedure in Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Disease Hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 for heart failure combined with moderate to severe or severe functional mitral valve were divided into Clip2Edge and ValveClip groups based on the TEER system used. Baseline, perioperative, and postoperative 30 d follow-up data were collected and compared between the two groups. The primary outcome was the success rate on the 30 d post operation, while secondary outcomes included immediate postoperative technical success rate and the incidence of all-cause mortality on the 30 d post operation, readmission rate of acute heart failure, cerebral infarction, severe bleeding, and other serious adverse events rates. Results: A total of 60 patients were enrolled, 34 patients were in the Clip2Edge group and 26 in the ValveClip group, mean age was (63.8±9.3) years, and 24 patients (40%) were female. There were no significant differences in baseline data of age, cardiac function, comorbidities, mitral regurgitation 4+(19(73%) vs. 29(85%)), the end-diastolic volume of left ventricle ((220.8±91.2) ml vs. (210.8±71.7) ml) between the two groups (all P>0.05). The technical success rate immediately after the procedure was 100%. There were no readmission of acute heart failure, death, cerebral infarction, severe bleeding, and other serious adverse events up to the 30 d follow-up. Device success rate was similar between the ValveClip group (24 cases (100%)) and the Clip2Edge group (27 cases (96%)) (P>0.05). Conclusion: Both types of novel domestic TEER devices are safe and feasible in treating patients with functional mitral regurgitation.
