Objective To investigate the expression of interluekin(IL)-18 in BALB/c mice serum and bronchoalveolar fuid infec-ted by mycoplasma pneumonia(MP) and to clarify the relationship between IL-18 and MP infection .Methods A total of 72 BABL/c mice were randomly divided into control group ,MP infection group and treatment group ,each group with 24 mice .MP infection models were established with ripping cultured MP into nasal cavity of mice .Clarithromycin was used at the fifth day in the treat-ment group .The blood of eyeball and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid were collected at the first ,fifth ,ninth day in the three groups ,and detected IL-18 .At the third ,seventh ,forth ,twenty-first ,30th day ,one mice was selected to isolate lung tissue ,and make pathologi-cal section to observe lesion degree .Results Pathological section indicated that lung tissue of mice in the control group had no in-flammatory response ,but lung tissue in the M P infection group had serious inflammatory response ,lung tissue in the treatment group at seventh day had mild inflammatory response .Compared with that of the control group ,the IL-18 in the serum and bron-choalveolar lavage fluid significantly increased at the first ,fifth ,ninth day ,the differences were statistically significant (tfirst day =10 .08 ,tfifth day =9 .14 ,tninth day = 10 .59 ,P< 0 .05) .The IL-18 levels in the serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid at fifth day and ninth day in the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the MP infection group(tfifth day =12 .96 ,tninth day =17 .95 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion MP infection causes IL-18 level increasing ,it is effective to treat with clarithromycin ,and IL-18 might correlate with pneumonia severity .

Objective To observe the expression of EGFR,TGF-?,AQP-2 and Bax during development of renal tubules in chick embryo,and explore the role and regulating significance of them. Methods The expression of EGFR,TGF-?,AQP-2 and Bax were observed by immunohistochemistry combined with stereological methods in 36 chicks kidney at 10th-46th incubation stages.The expression intensity of them was analyzed by IPP software. Results The epithelial cells of proximal tubules in chick embryo appeared EGFR immunoreactivity at 26th-46th stages;At 26th-37th stages the epithelial cells of proximal tubules and distal tubules of mesonephros appeared TGF-? immunoreactivity,the epithelial cells of proximal tubules and distal tubules of metanephros appeared TGF-? immunoreactivity at 33rd-40th stages,at 40th-46th stages the epithelial cells of proximal tubules of metanephros appeared TGF-? immunoreactivity but the epithelial cells of distal tubules did not appeare TGF-? immunoreactivity;The epithelial cells of collecting tubules in chick embryo appeared AQP-2 immunoreactivity at 26th-46th stages;The epithelial cells of proximal tubules and distal tubules of mesonephros appeared Bax immunoreactivity at 26th-37th stages,the epithelial cells of proximal tubules of metanephros appeared Bax immunoreactivity at 33rd-46th stages.Images showed the expressions of EGFR,TGF-?(?_1,?_2,?_3)and Bax first displayed up then down,but expression of AQP-2 always displayed up during development of chick embryo.Conclusion Mesonephros of chick embryo has the function of excreting.Degeneration of renal tubules of mesonephros might be related with the excessive expression of TGF-? and Bax.Development,differentiation and maturation of renal tubules and collecting tubules of metanephros might be due to the synergetic expression of EGFR,TGF-?,AQP-2 and Bax.AQP-2 relats to the balance of water during development and maturation of renal tubules in chick embryo.

Objective To investigate the risk factors related with postoperative complications following radical gnstrectomy for gastric cancer in cirrhotic patients. Methods In this study, 1474 cases underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma in the past six years and the postoperative complications were retrospectively reviewed. The risk factors related with postoperative complications of cirrhotic patients were analyzed by Logistic regressive analysis. Results The postoperative morbidity rates of the 2 groups with or without liver cirrhosis were 51.22% and 23.94% (X2 = 15.955, P<0.01), and the mortality rate was 7.32% and 0.91% (P = 0.009), respectively. The main complications of the group with liver cirrhosis were postoperative aseites (5 cases), hepatic failure (4 cases), wound infection or dehiscence (4 cases), intra-abdominal infection (4 cases), etc, and three patients in the group died from extensive bleeding, jejunal fistula and hepatic failure respectively. Univariate Logistic analysis revealed that age (OR = 1.277, 95% CI:0.991 ～ 1.646), preoperative nscites (OR = 20.900,95% CI: 2.349 - 185.933), the albumin level (OR =0.160,95% CI:0.041 ～ 0.629), Child classification (OR = 9.500,95% CI: 1.046 ～ 86.261), portal hypertension (OR = 4.000,95% CI: 1.057 ～ 15.138), esophageal variees (OR = 4.400,95% CI: 1.095 ～ 17.676), transfusion (OR =3.714,95% CI: 1.021 ～ 13.511) and blood loss (OR = 1.442, 95% CI:1.023 ～ 2.034) were the main factors associated with postoperative complications of the group with liver cirrhosis. Muhivariable Logistic analysis showed that preoperative ascites (OR = 19.213,95% CI: 1.569 ～ 231.255), Child classification (OR = 12.661,95% CI: 0.721 ～ 222.458), esophageal varices (OR =6.008,95% CI:0.857 ～42.097) and blood loss (OR = 1.574,95% (7,1:0.938 ～ 2.640) were the independent risk factors. Conclusion Gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma in cirrhotic patients engenders considerably high postoperative mortality and morbidity. Preoperative ascites, Child classifation, esophageal variees and intraoperative blood loss were factors closely related with postoperative complications.

Objective To investigate serum anti-insulin-like growth factor-Ⅱ mRNA binding protein1(IMP1) autoantibody IgG expression in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patient and its relationship with clinicopathological parameters.Methods ELISA method was used to detect serum anti-IMP1 autoantibody IgG in 120 cases of HCC,then the detection results were compared those in 115 healthy individuals(control group).The relationship between serum anti-IMP1 autoantibody IgG level with clinicopathological parameters in HCC patients was analyzed.Results The serum anti-IMP1 autoantibody IgG levels in the HCC group and control group were(1.512±0.685),(1.080±0.301)μg/mL respectively,the HCC group was significantly higher than the control group with statistical difference(P<0.001);serum anti-IMP1 autoantibody IgG in HCC patients was related with the tumor size,tumor differentiation degree,TNM grade and intrahepatic metastasis(P<0.001),and had no obvious relation with the age,sex,drinking and HBV infection(P>0.05).Conclusion Serum anti-IMP1 autoantibody IgG expression increased is increased in HCC patient.The detection of serum anti-IgG autoantibody IMP1 level in HCC is conducive to judge the malignancy degree of HCC.

Objective To analyze the tissue development rule of the Bufo raddei Strauch lung,to observe the expression of transforming growth factor-?(?_1,?_2,?_3)in developing lung,and to discuss their functions and relationships. Methods The tissue development of the(218) Bufo raddei Strauch lungs was studied by biological microscope technology,and the expression of TGF-? was measured in lung development by immunohistochemistry and images were analyzed by IPP,providing a basis for study of the zoology and developmental biology. Results(1) Lung bud occured in larval 22nd stage from pharynx caudal part.In 26th stage the minutenss locule began to appear.The lung bud gave rise to obvious lung cavity in 31st stage.In 33rd stage originality alveolus began to appear.In 36th stage obvious septum and alveolus appeared.There were many capillary vessel in the wall of lung.In 39th stage the lung of tadpole was like as one of young toad.The respiratory epithelium differentiated from columnar into squamous.The entire developmental process was divided into four phases,lung bud Ⅰphase,lung bud II phase,originality alveolus phase and alveolus phase.(2)In the early developmental phase,TGF-? expressed in the lung wall.In the late developmental phase,TGF-? expressed in mesenchymal at high levels.Conclusion The expression of TGF-? displayed intermittent changes during the period of development.The functions of TGF-? might be respectively different in different development stages.They not only stimulate the process of epithelium of the reticular septa,but also modulate epithelium of alveolar sac and differention.

Objective To detect the anti EZH2 autoantibodies IgG expression in hepatocellular carcinoma patient's serum samples and investigate the relationship of anti EZH2 autoantibodies IgG expression with clinicopathological parameters.Methods ELISA method was used to detect the anti EZH2 autoantibodies in serum of 120 cases of HCC patients and compared with 115 healthy controls.Results Serum anti EZH2 antibodies in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma group the content of IgG was 2.015±0.568 μg/ml group,anti EZH2 antibodies IgG content control health was 1.185±0.289 μg/ml.There was significant difference between two groups (t=12.48,P＜0.001).Anti EZH2 antibodies of IgG in serum of pa ticnts with hepatocellular carcinoma was up-regulated and the degree of tumor size,tumor the degree of differentiation,TNM grading and intrahepatic metastasis (t=8.485 ～ 57.93,P＜0.001).And age,sex,drinking,whether HBV infection had no significant difference (t=1.22～5.20,P＞0.05).Conclusion The expression of anti EZH2 autoantibodies in serum was related to the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma,and the detection of serum anti EZH2 autoantibodies in serum of liver cancer may be helpful to judge the malignant behavior and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).which may be used as a refcrcnce for the evaluation of the prognosis of HCC patients with IgG antibody against IgG.

Objective To summarize the experience of partial splenctomy in patients with traumatic spleen rupture.Methods Patients were assigned to spleen conservation group in which 59 patients underwent partial splenectomy,control group Ⅰ in which 60 patients underwent splenectomy and control group Ⅱ in which 60 patients underwent gastroinestinal operation. Immunologic function and filtration of red blood cell were detected in the three groups during the preoperation and the first month,the first year postoperation respectively.Results There was no significant difference between the spleen conservation group and the gastroenteric operation group.But IgM,NK-cell activity,T lymphocyte subpopulation and T lymphocyte transformation rate in the spleen conservation group were significantly higher then those in the splenectomy group (P

Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect of cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) complicated with pulmonary emphysema.Methods 92 COPD patients complicated with pulmonary emphysema were selected as study objects,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group.46 cases in the control group were treated with antibiotic treatment, and 46 cases in the observation group were treated with cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone.The clinical curative effect, pulmonary function, blood gas index and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.30%, which was significantly higher than 76.09% of the control group (x2=8.476,P<0.05).The pulmonary function indices including FVC%,FEV1,FEV1%,MVV levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (t=2.657,3.610,2.413,2.359,all P<0.05).The PaO2 level in the observation group [(80.3±2.8)mmHg] was higher than (74.1±3.8)mmHg in the control group, the PaCO2 level in the observation group [(34.0±1.1)mmHg] was significantly lower than (40.2±2.2)mmHg in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (t=3.021,3.952,all P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions of the observation group was 6.52%,which of the control group was 10.87%, the difference was not significant (x2=1.363,P>0.05).Conclusion In elderly COPD patients with emphysema, using cefuroxime combined with methylprednisolone therapy can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms, improve lung function and blood gas index, and has less adverse reactions, higher safety and high clinical application value.

Objecfive To investigate multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)appearances of pulmonary infections after liver transplantation(LT)and the diagnostic values of MSCT.Methods The clinical data and CT images of liver transplantation receptors were reviewed from 200 1 August to 2007 June,the types,onset time and CT appearances of pulmonary infections were analyzed retrospectively.Chi square test was used for the statistics.Results The incidence rate of pulmonary infections after LT was 32.9/(174/529),the mortality was 9.8/(1 7/174),The incidence of bacterial infection,fungus or associated fungus infection,and virus or associated virus infection were 17.2/(n=91),14.7/(n=78)and 2.3/(n=12)respectively,the pulmonary infections were seen in 64.7/,28.7/and 6.6/of patients 1 to 30 days,31-90 days and after 90 days following LT.Consolidations(n=32),ground-glass opacities(n=22),nodules(n=10),reticular or lineal opacities(n=4)were found in 45 patients who had CT examination,there were no statistic differences in incidence rate between bacterial infection and mycotic infection(P＞0.05).Conclusion Pulmonary bacterial and fungus infection are common after LT.and often present as the mixed infection,the high risk period for infection is within 30 days after LT,thoracic CT stall is very important for characterizing the pulmonary infections after LT.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of hydrophilic/hydrophobic nano-silica with different adding amount on the stabili-ty of lipo-emulsion. METHODS:Glycyrrhetinic acid lipo-emulsion 4 mL was taken,respectively adding into 0.5%,1.0%,1.5%(m/m,the same below) hydrophilic nSiO2,and 0.4%,0.75,1.0% hydrophobic nSiO2,incubating 2 h in 30 ℃ water;the same batch of Glycyrrhetinic acid lipo-emulsion was treated as blank control. The forms were observed under electron microscopy after treatment,absorbance value was determined,the stability parameter (KE) was calculated according to the absorbance value,then the adding amount of nSiO2 was optimized,3 batches of preparations was prepared,and the verification test was conducted. RE-SULTS:The spherical structure was Glycyrrhetinic acid lipo-emulsion in the electron microscopy,the substance wrapping its sur-face white ring (fully wrapped) or semi-circular structure (not fully wrapped) was nSiO2. KE of hydrophilic nSiO2 were 4.66%, 5.01% and -2.08%,and KE of hydrophobic nSiO2 were 3.02%,4.51% and 7.24%. The optimized adding amount of hydrophilic nSiO2 was 0.2%,0.3% and 0.4%,hydrophobic nSiO2 was 0.1%,0.2% and 0.3%;KE were 6.19%,3.05%,7.84%,8.42%, 2.41%,2.93%,respectively. The optimal adding amount was 0.3% hydrophilic nSiO2 and 0.2% hydrophobic nSiO2;the 3 batches of preparation showed the optimum stability in its own adding amount. CONCLUSIONS:Both hydrophilic and hydrophobic nSiO2 can improve the stability of Glycyrrhetinic acid lipo-emulsion,and preferably 0.3%,0.2%.
