With Modified Webster Scale, 42 patients suffered from Parkinson disease were examined before and after operation. The symptoms were divided into 10 groups. 1～10 points was taken as slight disability, 11～20 as medium, and 21～30 as severe. Improvement less than 25% was taken as no effect, 26%～50% as effective, 51%～75% as significantly effective, and over 75% as very significantly effective. The score was (19 90?5 27) preoperatively and (10 57?6 10) postoperatively. The mean improvement was (8 95?3 37). Very significantly effective result was obtained in 4 cases (9 5%), significantly effective sesult was obtained in 17 cases (40 5%), and effective result was obtained in 16 cases (38 1%). The total effective rate was 88 1%. One target coagulation was performed in 34 cases, the mean improvement was in (8 59?3 53). Two target coagulation on one side was performed in 8 patients, the mean improvement was in (10 00?4 14). No significant difference was found between these two groups statistically. It is suggested, for patients with Parkinson disease in whom drug treatment is not efficacious or because of increased side effect, Modified Webster Scale is useful to evaluate the effect of surgical treatment. Objective To assess the clinical value of HRCT in diagnosis of cholesteatomatous tympanitis.Methods HRCT findings of 26 patients with cholesteatomatous tympanitis proved by surgery and pathology were analyzed.Results HRCT findings of cholesteatomatous tympanitis included:soft tissue mass in the superior tympanium,tympanal sinus and mastoid(100%,26/26),destruction of the bone includeing ossicles chain (92%,24/26),secutum(46%,12/26),facial nerve canal (54%,14/26);enlargement of the tympaniosinus with sclerosing borders;intracranial complications including temple abscess(1 case),meningitis(1 case).Conclusion HRCT is of great value in diagnosis of cholesteatomatous tympanitis.

Objective To provide data evidence for brucellosis prevention by a retrospective analysis of brucellosis epidemiologic feature in Ji'nan Infectious Disease Hospital from 2010-2014.Method The brucellosis patients with confinned diagnosis from 2010 to 2014 admitted to Ji'nan Infectious Disease Hospital were included in this study,and their epidemic data were statistically analyzed,including time,age and occupation distributions.Results There were 1 010 brucellosis patients in total in Ji'nan Infectious Disease Hospital from 2010 to 2014,and 12 cases,69 cases,134 cases,274 cases and 521 cases,respectively,in each year,which showed rapid rising trend.There were two peak times,the first was from April to August,the incidence was 9.1％ (92/1 010),12.2％(123/1010),13.4％ (135/1010),11.1％ (112/1010) and 10.7％ (108/1010),respectively,in each month;the second was January,the incidence was 9.4％ (95/1010).The diagnosed rate within 1 week of onset only accounted for 13.4％ (135/1010),and 72.4％ (731/1010) patients were diagnosed for more than two weeks after the onset.The male incidence of brucellosis was higher than the female,and the sex ratio was 2.36:1.00.In terms of age distribution,40-49 and 50-59 were both peak ages,with incidence of 29.3％ (296/1 010) and 25.0％ (252/1010),respectively.The professional was given priority to farmers and herdsmen (85.6％,865/1 010),and 96.4％ (974/1010)of the patients had a clear exposure history,mainly related to sheep,cattle,pigs and other livestock,also related to pets and milk.Conclusions The brucellosis patients that received in Ji'nan Infectious Disease Hospital are increased significantly in the recent 5 years,and their transmission is closely associated with livestock breeding and processing.Most patients have failed timely diagnosis in the early days,which should catch enough of our attention.

Objective To investigate the correlation between the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) gene promotor-238 and hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy.Methods Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism assay (PCR-RFLP) was used to detect the SNPat TNF-α-238 site among 100 malignant tumor patients with HBV infection.HBV-DNA levels in patients were detected before and after chemotherapy.HBV reactivation was defined as that HBV-DNA level greater than 10-fold increase compared with before chemotherapy or higher than 1 × 109 logcopies/ml.Results The quantification of HBV-DNA was higher after chemotherapy than before chemotherapy [(3.02±0.68) logcopies/ml vs.(2.49±0.23) logcopies/ml,t=-7.383,P=0.000].Among the patients with malignant tumor and HBV infection,the genotype frequency of G/A was higher in HBV reactivation group than in non-reactivation group after chemotherapy [27.3％ (6/22) vs.3.8％ (3/ 78),x2 =11.499,P=0.001].Conclusions HBV reactivation is associated with TNF-α-238 gene polymorphism in malignant tumor patients with HBV infection after chemotherapy.

Objective It remains a controversy whether 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) is associated with colon cancer stem cells.This study was to investigate the effect of the 5-LOX inhibitor MK886 in maintaining the stemness of the human colon cancer cell line HT-29.Methods Using CCK-8 assay, we examined the inhibitory effects of different concentrations of MK886 (12.5, 25, 50, 75, 100, and 200 μmol/L) on the colon cancer HT-29 cells cultured in vitro and calculated its half-inhibitory concentration (IC50).Then, we detected the effects of MK886 IC50 on the clone-and sphere-forming abilities of the cells, determined the mRNA expressions of the stemness markers CD133, Lgr5, Oct4 and Ascl2 by real-time PCR after 24 and 48 hours of MK886 IC50 intervention, and measured their protein expressions by Western blotting after 24, 48 and 72 hours of MK886 IC50 intervention.Results The inhibition rates of MK886 on the HT-29 cells at 24 and 48 hours were significantly increased in a time-and dose-dependent manner ([14.99±3.06] and [19.98±0.57]％ at 12.5 μmol/L, [20.46±1.14] and [34.97±6.02]％ at 25 μmol/L, [50.76±5.94] and [66.90±5.74]％ at 50 μmol/L, [66.84±1.77] and [73.11±2.48]％ at 75 μmol/L, [72.67±2.36] and [77.78±3.30]％ at 100 μmol/L, [83.67±0.24] and [84.69±2.24] ％ at 200 μmol/L) as compared with the blank control (0％ and 0％) (P<0.05).The clone-forming rate and number of spheres formed were remarkably lower in the MK886 intervention than in the control group ([10.60±1.71] vs [44.67±3.21]％, P<0.05;6.00±1.60 vs 19.07±2.89, P<0.05).After 24 and 48 hours of MK886 intervention, the mRNA expression of CD133 in the HT-29 cells was markedly up-regulated in comparison with that at 0 hour (0.72±0.10 and 0.39±0.07 vs 1.66±0.33, P<0.05), and so were those of Lgr5, Oct4 and Ascl2 (P<0.05).Conclusion The 5-LOX inhibitor MK886 can inhibit the proliferation and clone-and sphere-forming abilities of human colon cancer HT-29 cells by down-regulating the expressions of the stemness markers and thus suppressing the stemness of the colon cancer stem cells.

OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of alprostadil combined with salvia ligustrazine in the treat-ment of aged patrents with unstable angina pectoris. METHODS:A total of 150 patients with unstable angina pectoris department of our hospital during Oct. 2011-Mar. 2015 were randomly divided into alprostadil group,salvia ligustrazine group and combination group according to random number table,with 50 cases in each group. Three groups received routine treatment. Alprostadil group additionally received Alprostadil injection 100 μg added into 0.9％ Sodium chloride injection 250 mL,ivgtt,qd,on the basis of routine treatment. Salvia ligustrazine group additionally received Salvia ligustrazine injection 10 mL added into 0.9％ Sodium chlo-ride injection 250 mL,ivgtt,qd,on the basis of routine treatment. Combination group additionally received constant dose of Al-prostadil injection and Salvia ligustrazine injection. Hemorheological indexes (high shear whole blood viscosity,low shear whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,hematocrit,fibrinogen),cardiac function indexes(LVEF,SV,LVEFD,LVST),serum CRP, NO,ET,SOD and clinical efficacies were observed in 2 groups before and after treatment;the occurrence of ADR was compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in hemorheological indexes,cardiac function indexes or serum CRP,NO,ET,SOD level between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment,plasma viscosity,the whole blood high and low shear viscosity,hematocrit,fibrinogen,serum CRP and ET levels of 3 groups were decreased significantly,while LVEF,SV,serum levels of NO and SOD were increased significantly,combination group was significantly better than alprostadil group and salvia ligustrazine group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in above indexes between alprostadil group and salvia ligustrazine group (P<0.05). Total response rate of combination group was 90.00％,which was significantly higher than 74.00％of alprostadil group and 72.00％of salvia ligustrazine group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Alprostadil combined with salvia ligustrazine can effectively reduce the blood viscosity of patients with unstable angina pectoris,improve cardi-ac function and endothelial function,reduce myocardial ischemia injury and show significant therapeutic efficacy and safety without increasing the incidence of ADR.

In the development of radio frequency (RF) coils for better quality of the mini-type permanent magnetic resonance imager for using in the small animal imaging, the solenoid RF coil has a special advantage for permanent magnetic system based on analyses of various types.of RF coils. However, it is not satisfied for imaging if the RF coils are directly used. By theoretical analyses of the magnetic field properties produced from the solenoid coil, the research direction was determined by careful studies to raise further the uniformity of the magnetic field coil, receiving coil sensitivity for signals and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The method had certain advantages and avoided some shortcomings of the other different coil types, such as, birdcage coil, saddle shaped coil and phased array coil by using the alloy materials (from our own patent). The RF coils were designed, developed and made for keeled applicable to permanent magnet-type magnetic resonance imager, multi-coil combination-type, single-channel overall RF receiving coil, and applied for a patent. Mounted on three instruments (25 mm aperture, with main magnetic field strength of 0.5 T or 1.5 T, and 50 mm aperture, with main magnetic field strength of 0.48 T), we performed experiments with mice, rats, and nude mice bearing tumors. The experimental results indicated that the RF receiving coil was fully applicable to the permanent magnet-type imaging system.

Objective To investigate the serum levels of biochemical indexes such as calcium,phosphorus,iron,zinc,and alkaline phosphatase of children in Kaschin-Beck disease areas and control areas in Qinghai Province.Methods According to the results of Kaschin-Beck disease monitoring in Qinghai Province,Tangnaihai Township of Xinghai County and Gandu Town of Hualong County were chosen as Kaschin-Beck disease areas and Qushian Township of Xinghai Country was chosen as a control.Children aged 7 to 15 in boarding schools in these areas were chosen as the study subjects in June 2014.Serum alkaline phosphatase level was determined by enzyme colorimetry and the serum iron,zinc,calcium and phosphorus levels were determined by colorimetry.Calcium to phosphate ratio was calculated at the same time.Results Fifty-nine qualified serum samples of children were sampled in Kaschin-Beck disease areas and 45 in control area.Serum alkaline phosphatase levels in Kaschin-Beck disease areas and control area were (311.34 ± 85.31) and (264.09 ± 73.44)U/L,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (t =-2.97,P ＜ 0.05).Children's serum phosphorus levels in Kaschin-Beck disease areas and control area were (1.62 ± 0.17) and (1.43 ± 0.13)mmol/L,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (t =-6.29,P ＜ 0.05).Calcium to phosphorus ratio were 1.62 ± 0.17 and 1.82 ± 0.21,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant (t =5.53,P ＜ 0.05).Compared with the control area,the level of children's serum zinc was (19.96 ± 1.70) and (20.59 ± 2.45)μmol/L;the level of serum calcium was (2.59 ± 0.11) and (2.57 ± 0.11)mmol/L;and the level of serum iron was (15.06 ± 7.02) and (17.01 ± 6.70)μmol/L.The differences between these three biochemical indicators were not statistically significant between Kaschin-Beck disease areas and control area (t =1.39,-0.64,1.44,all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion In Kaschin-Beck disease areas in Qinghai Province,the level of children's serum alkaline phosphatase and phosphorus have increased markedly and the calcium to phosphate ratio has decreased obviously.

Objective To explore the relationship between bone mineral density(BMD) and body tat disrribution in the aged in Ningbo area of China. Methods The BMD of lumbar vertebra and total body bones as well as body composition were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) in 61 aged males, and also in 63 aged females as control group. Results In the aged males, a negative correlation was found between BMD and age, while BMI, muscle, trunk fat were positively correlated with BMD. As for the aged female, age, BMI, muscle and fat were all positively correlated with BMD. Conclusions The correlation between body fat and BMD is closer in females than in males in the aged. There is a positive correlation between trunk fat and lumbar spine BMD, and it indicates that central obesity may have a protective effect on lumbar spine BMD.
