Objective: To study diagnostic and predictive value of levels of high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP) and cystatin C (CysC) for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in aged patients.Methods: A total of 60 ACS patients (ACS group) treated in our hospital and 60 healthy subjects (healthy control group) undergoing physical examination during Dec 2013 to Sep 2015 were randomly selected.Serum levels of hsCRP and CysC, and abnormal rates of hsCRP and CysC were measured and compared between two groups.Results: Compared with healthy control group, there were significant rise in serum levels of hsCRP[(3.02±1.13) mg/L vs.(7.95±2.38) mg/L]and CysC[(0.75±0.11) μg/ml vs.(1.35±0.43) μg/ml], and abnormal rates of hsCRP (0 vs.13.33%) and CysC (0 vs.11.67%) in ACS group, P<0.01 all.Conclusion: Serum hsCRP and CysC level measurements can effectively predict and assess occurrence, development and prognosis of disease in ACS patients, and provide clinical valid evidence for its diagnosis, prevention and treatment.

Objective To clone and express the Tp0453 antigen immuno-dominant epitope fragment of Treponema pallidum (Tp) in Escherichia coli,in an effort to develop serological tests with increased specificity for the diagnosis of syphilis.Methods The gene encoding Tp0453 recombinant outer membrane protein fragment was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR),and inserted into expression vector pQE30 after T-A cloning,then confirmed by restriction map.The constructed recombinant plasmid pQE30-Tp0453 was transformed to E.coli M15 for expression induced by isopropyl β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside.The expressed product was identified by Western blot,and purified by Ni2+-NTA agarose column chromatography.A double antigen sandwich enzymelinked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) was established by using the recombinant Tp0453 protein to test sera from 48 patients with positive Treponema pallidum particle agglutination test (TPPA),and 40 negative sera as control.Results The PCR amplicon of the target gene was about 490 bp.The recombinant plasmid pQE30-Tp0453 was correctly constructed and successfully expressed in E.coli M15.The expressed product,with a relative molecular of about 21 000,existed in a form of inclusion body,accounting for about 18％ of total somatic protein,and reached a purity of more than 95％ after purification.Western blot showed specific reaction of the expressed protein with Tp positive serum.The ELISA tests with the 88 clinical samples yielded a sensitivity of 97.9％ (47/48),and specificity of 100.0 ％ (40/40).The consistency of results between the ELISA test and the TPPA test was 98.9 ％ (87/88).Conclusion The expressed Tp0453 fragment has showed good immunoreactivity with serum from patients with syphilis,providing the foundation of further development of serological diagnostic kit with increased specificity for the diagnosis of TP infection.

Objective To study the smoking status and revalent cause factors among medical college students in Nanchang and provide information for smoking control .Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 935 medical students by stratified cluster random sampling method .912 questionnaires were valid .The valid rate was 97 .540% .Results The total smoking rate was 14 .364% (131/192) .The smoking rate of male was higher than female(χ2 =49 .982 ,P<0 .05) .There was a great difference among different grades(χ2 =22 .503 ,P<0 .05) .There were many factors associated with smoking conducts ,in which older ,higher family income ,higher monthly cost of living ,allowing to smoking in the home were risk factors ,but mother′s educational level ,correct knowledge about the hazards of tobacco were protective factors .Conclusion The smoking rate of medical students is not high .The smoking status are influenced by many factors .Intervention should pay more attention to focus group and better prevent medical students from smoking .

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) eyedrops for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye disease (DED).Methods:A total of 395 patients (790 eyes) with moderate to severe DED diagnosed and treated in the Armed Police Liaoning Corps Hospital and the PLA 967 Hospital from March 2018 to October 2019 were collected. Random number table method was used to divide into autologous PRP treatment group (196 cases, 392 eyes) treated with autologous PRP and control group (199 cases, 398 eyes) treated with artificial tears. The changes of subjective symptoms of DED, Schirmer test (ST), corneal fluorescein staining (CFS) and Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) before and after treatment were observed in both groups.Results:After 1 course of treatment, the ST values of both groups increased, which was statistically significant compared with before treatment ( P<0.05). After treatment, the OSDI and CFS scores of the two groups were reduced. The difference in OSDI and CFS scores of the PRP treatment group before and after treatment was statistically significant ( P<0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference in the control group before and after treatment ( P>0.05). After treatment, the OSDI and CFS scores of the PRP treatment group were lower than those of the control group [(16.8 ± 18.7) scores vs. (43.2 ± 14.5) scores, (0.21 ± 0.53) scores vs. (1.62 ± 0.69) scores], the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). After one course of treatment, the total effective rate of the autologous PRP treatment group was higher than that of the control group [80.1% (157/196) vs. 51.76% (103/196)], the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Autologous PRP can treat patients with moderate-to-severe autologous PRP treatment group, which can greatly improve patients' eye discomfort and other symptoms.

Objective To explore the efficacy of moderate dose bromocriptine by one-off oral administration in treatment of patients with non-acute prolactin (PRL) type pituitary adenoma.Methods Forty-three patients with definite diagnosis of non-acute prolactin type pituitary adenoma,admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to December 2017,were chosen in our study.All patients were administrated with 5 mg bromocriptine at 18 pm;the serum PRL levels were examined at 2,3 and 12 h after bromocriptine administration.The curative effects of these patients were judged by decline rate of PRL,and the curative effects of patients with different genders,different initial PRL levels and different ages were compared.Results In these 43 patients,bromocriptine showed excellent effect in 20 patients,obvious effect in 18 and invalid effect in 5.There were statistically significant differences in the efficacy of bromocriptine between different genders (P＜0.05).There were statistically significant differences in efficacy of patients with different genders after taking bromocriptine (P＜0.05).The female patients had obviously higher rate of obvious effect than the male patients.Patients with different initial PRL values had statistically significant differences in efficacy after taking bromocriptine (P＜0.05).Patients with PRL initial value of 40-200 ng/mL had significantly higher rate of obvious effect than patients with PRL initial value of ＞200 ng/mL.There was no significant difference in efficacy between patients ＜ 45 years old and patients＞45 years old (P＞0.05).Conclusion The treatment ofhyperprolactin caused by prolactin type pituitary adenoma with moderate dose bromocriptine by one-off oral administration is effective;female patients have obviously better effect than male patients;and for patients with initial prolactin＞200 ng/mL,the effect is better.
