OBJECTIVE To study the distribution of drug-resistant gene of meticillin-resistant coagulase negative Staphylococcus(MRCNS) in children septicemia.METHODS The total MRCNS isolates were 40,and whether in there harbored genes mec,erm and qac was studied.RESULTS Among 40 CNS strains,in there harbored genes mec, erm, and qac were 38(95.0%),30(75.0%) and 18(45.0%),respectively.CONCLUSIONS MRCNS in children septicemia where harbor drug resistance genes is very serious,so we should pay great heed to its effective control.

Professor CHAO En-xiang thinks that several rules should be obeyed when we treat gangrenous appendicitis complication with paralytic ileus and ARDS.Firstly,we should adhere to the TCM characteristics of the holistic concept and treatment based on syndrome of differentiation.Secondly,we should formulate therapeutic method according to major pathogenesis.Thirdly,we should use drugs flexibly according to the patient's specific situation.Professor CHAO En-xiang considered it was the syndrome of dysfunctional activity of qi,fu qi being obstructed, dysfunction of middle-jiao in transportation. The therapeutical principle was regulating qi activity, dredging intestines and relieving distention.Nasal feeding with Dachengqi decoction adding Agastache rugosa,Tatarian Aster, paste umbilicus with mud of shallot stalk, fresh ginger, fennel and enema with Radix Aucklandiae.

Objective To explore the incidence and severity of cancer-related fatigue (CRF),and to analyze the correlation between CRF and quality of life in lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Methods This was a cross-sectional study.72 lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were investigated by the Piper Fatigue Scale (PFS) and the 36-item short form of the Medical Outcomes Study questionnaire (SF-36).Results The rate of fatigue for lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy was 76.4%.The incidence of moderate and severe fatigue in total fatigue,behavior/severity dimension, affective dimension, sensory dimension was 68.1%,63.9%,76.4% and 65.3% respectively. The incidence of mild and moderate fatigue in coguitive/mood dimension was 41.7%.The fatigue dimension scores ranked in a descending order,affective,behavior/severity,sensory and cognitive/mood.There was significant negative correlation between CRF and quality of life for lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Conclusions In lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, the incidence and degree of fatigue was high.CRF and QOL affect each other. The health care providers should take measures to alleviate lung cancer patients' fatigue in order to improve the QOL of them.

Objective To screen the hemostatic active extracts from Callicarpa nudif lora .Methods The powdered Callicarpanudiflora was extracted with 70% EtOH and concentrated to give EtOH-extract .The EtOH-extract was further chromatographed over HP-20 macroporous resin column ,eluting with aqua and 95% EtOH to get HP-H2 O-elution and HP-EtOH-elution ,respectively .The obtained three extracts of EtOH-extrract ,HP-EtOH-elution and HP-H2 O-elution were set as large ,middle and small dosage groups for drug preparation ,respectively .Yunnan Baiyao was used as a positive control group . The weight increment ,bleeding time and clotting time of fed mice were detected by cutting tail and grass slide methods after in-tragastric administration for 7 days .Results As compared with blank model and positive control ,each dosage groups of HP-EtOH-elution could significantly shortened the bleeding time ,of which the small dosage group and middle dosage group even ex-hibited better results than the positive control group .Whereas the EtOH-extract ,HP-EtOH-elution and HP-H2 O-elution didn′t demonstrated significant effect on clotting time as well as the weight increment .Conclusion The HP-EtOH-elution was suggested to be the major active extract possessing hemostatic activity to mice under tested dosages .The hemostatic mechanism may through in-trinsic coagulation pathway .This study would be helpful for further phytochemical investigation of C .nudi f lora .

A female patient aged 7 years and 5 months presented with multiple skin defects of the scalp, ears, hands and in the sacrococcygeal region, and multiple joint flexion contractures of the extremities for more than 7 years. Skin examination showed skin defects of the scalp, auricles, hands and in the sacrococcygeal region, gingival swelling, and multiple joint flexion contractures of the extremities. Genetic testing of the peripheral blood revealed 2 compound heterozygous mutations c.1073delC (A359Lfs*51) and c.1073dupC (A359Cfs*13) in the anthrax toxin receptor-2 ( ANTXR2) gene in the patient, which were inherited from her mother and father respectively. The patient was diagnosed with hyaline fibromatosis syndrome. Surgical treatment was rejected, and anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics and other drugs were administered for symptomatic treatment. During follow-up of half a year, the child occasionally had mild diarrhea, and other symptoms did not progress markedly.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of Qizhenziyin mixture in the treatment of hypogonadism by using the network pharmacology approach. Methods The active components of Qizhenziyin mixture were obtained by searching TCMSP ,TCMID and HIT databases. The related targets of candidate compounds were obtained by searching STITCH databases. The potential targets of Qizhenziyin mixture in the treatment of hypogonadism were obtained by mapping the disease genes of hypogonadism with Genecards and DisGeNet databases. The protein interaction platform database (STRING) was used to construct the interaction relationship between action targets. The target protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed by introducing Cytoscape software. The mechanism of Qizhenziyin mixture in the treatment of hypogonadism was explained through the enrichment analysis of GO, KEGG and molecular docking technology. Results A total of 148 drug-disease chemical compounds, 96 drug-disease intersection targets, 1085 disease targets were obtained;the components for treating diseases are: quercetin, kaempferol, luteolin, etc; enrichment analysis of GO revealed 1792 biological processes (BP), 31 cellular components (CC) and 79 molecular functions (MF);the results of KEGG pathway enrichment analysis indicated such as FOXO signaling pathway, prostate cancer, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications, HIF-1 signaling pathway, etc.The results of molecular docking showed that kaempferol and LEP had the best and stable binding energy. Conclusion The active components of Qizhenziyin mixture may play a role of the treatment of hypogonadism by improving insulin resistance and the expression of testosterone synthetase of Leydig cells.
