2.Therapeutic Analysis of Hepatic Artery Chemoembolization in 60 Patients with Middle-Late Hepatocarcinoma
Journal of Practical Radiology 2000;0(02):-
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of middle-late hepatocarcinoma by transcather arterial chemoembolization (TACE).Methods 60 patients with middle-late hepatocarcinoma were undergone selective hepatic artery catheter purfusion chemotherapy combined with iodized oil embolism through femoral artery using Seldinger technique totally . All patients 140 times . Results There were significant effect in 36 cases (60%),effect in 19 cases (31.7%) and stable in 5 cases(8.7%) after treatment. The survival rate has been improved,38 cases ( 63.3%) have survived for more than 12 months . Conclusion For the patients with middle-late hepatocarcinoma,TACE is curative effect,it can prolong survival time significantly and improve patient’s life quality.
3.THE PATTERN OF MUSCLE ARRANGEMENT OF THE ESOPHAGOGASTRIC JUNCTION
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The muscle arrangements of esophago-gastric junction were observed in 30 human specimens. Muscles of the esophago-gastric junction consist of two layers-an outer longitudinal oblique layer and an inner circular oblique layer. At the top of esophageal vestibule 2 superficial muscle bundles may be identified. They are continuous with longitudinal muscle fibers of the tubular esophagus and runs to the stomach. The deep circular layer of the tubulovestibular junction is thicker than that of the tubular esophagus. It looks like a sphincter which lies 27.06 2.11mm above the cardiac incisure. At the middle segment of the esophageal vestibule some of the circular muscle fibers turn into spiral or loop forms. At the terminal portion of the vestibule two semicircular muscles separately localized towards the fundus and the lesser curvature of the stomach. They overlap at the back or at the front of the stomach. A small bundle opposite the gastric sling fiber demarcates the right margin of the esophago-gastric junction.

Objective To study clinicopathologic significance of eosinophils in human nasal polyps and the effect of corticosteroids. Methods 90 cases of nasal polyps were divided into two group randomly:corticosteriods group(n=30) with topical application of budesonide(BUD,400?g/d) for 14 days before endoscopic polypectomy, and control group(n=60) without BUD before surgery. All cases were stained with HE.Results Eosinophils showed higer in the group of nasal polyps than in the group of norm al inferior turbinate(P

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Forty human fetuses ranging from C-R length 72 mm (which corresponds to a developmental stage of the second week in the third month of the embryo) to fullterm were used to investigate the nutrient arteries of the femora using the dissection method and roentgenography. In comparison with adults, there are apparently more (P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Fluorescence imaging of animal in vivo is to tag cell or DNA with fluorescence reporter gene, and then detect the fluorescence using sensitive optics apparatus. With this system, researcher can observe tumor growth, metastasis and angiogenesis in vivo, and reliable information for tumor diagnosis and treatment will be provided for researcher.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(09):-
Near-infrared technology can be used as an auxiliary means for the early diagnosis of cancer and for surgical resection of tiny lesion that can not be discriminated by naked eyes, but it can not satisfy the purpose when used alone. Thus,we have developed an integrated technique by combining near-infrared and other technologies, and extended the scope of its application. This article reviews the advances of several integrated techniques applied to tumor research, including double labeled technology of nuclide and near-infrared,the combination of near-infrared and fluorescence resonance energy transfer, the combined use of near-infrared and endoscopy, and the integration of near-infrared with carbon nanotubes.

Objective By detecting the expression of caveolin-1 in osteosarcoma tissues,to explore its possible roles in the occurrence, progress and metastasis of osteosarcoma and its relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods The expression level of caveolin-1 protein in 48 osteosarcoma tissues and 24 normal bone tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry of SP method. Its relationship with clinical and pathological features were also analyzed. Results among the 48 osteosarcomas examined,38 were stained weak or negative for caveolin-1,whereas the strong caveolin-1 staining was observed in all the 24 normal bone tissues. The absorbent optical density value of caveolin-1 protein in osteosarcoma tissues and normal bone tissues were(0.2292 ± 0.0329) and(0.6428 ± 0.0028),respectively.The expression of caveolin-1 in osteosarcoma tissues was significantly lower than that in normal bone tissues (t =21.48,P < 0.01 ).Caveolin-1 protein expression was significant correlated with the pulmonary metastasis of tumors ( t =11.84,P < 0.05 ),but had no correlation with nge, sex, tumor size and pathologic grades. Conclusion The low expression of caveolin-1 may participate in osteosarcoma invasion and metastasis, and may be a new prognostic molecular marker for osteosarcoma and a new therapeutic target for tumor.

Objective To investigate the functional polarization of T cells in children with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods Forty five cases of OSAHS children were chosen to undergo tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.Preoperative analyses of peripheral blood Th1 /Th2 ratio and Tc1 /Tc2 ratio were compared with those of normal children and those of postoperative 6 months for observation of the change of T cells.Th1/Th2 ratio and Tc1/Tc2 ratio were detected by flow cytometry. Results The preoperative ratio of Th1 cells in children with OSAHS was significantly lower than normal children [(9.66 ± 3.73) % vs (13.34 ± 4.36) %,P < 0.05],while the preoperative ratio of Th2 cells was significantly higher than normal children [(3.42 ± 1.64) % vs (2.53 ± 1.97) %,P < 0.05],which made the Thl/Th2 ratio lower than normal children (3.51 ± 1.53 vs 5.41 ±2.17,P <0.05).At the 6th month after tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, the postoperative ratio of Th1 cells was significantly higher than preoperative ratio [(12.99 ± 3.68) % vs (9.66 ± 3.73) %,P < 0.05],while the postoperative ratio of Th2 cells was lower than preoperative ratio [(2.62 ± 1.88) % vs (3.42 ± 1.64) %,P < 0.05],which made the postoperative Th1 /Th2 ratio higher than preoperative ratio (5.15 ± 1.86 vs 3.51 ± 1.53,P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in Tc1 /Tc2 ratio between the OSAHS children and normal children. Conclusions Functional polarization of T cells was abnormal in OSAHS children accompanied by the predomination of Th2 cells and the normal Tc cell polarization.Functional polarization of T cells can return to normal at the 6th month after tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.
