Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2008;17(4):356-357
Objective To explore the relationships between loneliness and sleep quality of undergraduates. Methods 751 undergraduates were investigated by UCLA Loneliness Scale and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index( PSQI).Results (1) No gender, grade and origin differences on loneliness were found, but non-only child undergraduates(43.09±7.22)felt lonely more than only-child undergraduates(41.37±8.38)(t=2.95,P=0.003).(2) No gender, grade and yes or no only child differences on the total score of PSQI were found, but undergraduates come from country (5.00±2.68)scored higher than those from city(4.59±2.79)(t=2.019,P<0.05).(3)Loneliness had significant positive correlations with the total score on the PSQI and the six components(except sleep duration)(r=0.12~0.27,P<0.05~0.01).Lonely(5.72±3.25,1.20±0.93,1.09±0.70,0.23±0.64,1.64±0.93)and non-lonely undergraduates (4.63±2.56,0.99±0.79,0.96±0.53,0.08±0.37,1.39±0.85)differ significantly in total score of PSQI,sleep latency, sleep disturbance, sleep medication and daytime dysfunction(t=2.096~3.681,P<0.05~0.001).Conclusion Loneliness of undergraduates maybe influence their sleep quality.

OBJECTIVE: To study the links between chronic pyelonephritis (CPN) and immune function, and the action mechanism of Yishenkang granule on CPN. METHODS: A total of 120 CPN cases were randomly assigned to Yishenkang granule group, Sanjing tablet group and western medicine group, which were compared with healthy control group. The levels of the peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets, serum immunoglobulin, complement, secretory IgA in urine and the cell factor IL-2 in CPN cases before and after treatment were detected by monoclonal antibody method, agar diffusion method, radioimmunoassay, radioimmune balancing method and compared with those in healthy control group. RESULTS: In CPN cases compared with healthy control group, the levels of serum immunoglobulin, complement, secretory IgA in urine were significantly lower while the level of cell factor IL-2 were significnatly higher (P

Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 120 cases of benign prostate hyperplasia ( BPH) treated with four-step method ( traction, enucleation, resection, and repair ) for transurethral plasmakinetic resection of the prostate in our hospital from January 2012 to February 2014. Results The average operation time was (91.4 ±35.3) min.The intraoperative blood loss was 78.8 ±34.1 ml. The resection of the prostate tissue weight was (32.1 ±15.7) g.The postoperative bladder infusion time was (1.5 ±0.5) days. The postoperative indwelling catheter time was 3.5 ±0.8 days. The postoperative hospital stay was (5.5 ±0.5) days.No death, blood transfusion, or TURS happened.Follow-up reviews at 3 months after surgery found postoperative international prostatic symptom score (IPSS) was significantly less than the preoperative level [4.5 ±2.2 vs.24.5 ±5.1, t=39.445, P=0.000], postoperative Qmax was significantly higher than preoperative level [(21.5 ±10.5) ml/s vs.(6.0 ±1.9) ml/s, t =15.912, P =0.000], and postoperative residual urine was significantly less than the preoperative level [(12.0 ±2.0) ml vs.(145.0 ±33.0) ml;t=44.069, P =0.000].No retrograde ejaculation, sexual dysfunction, or dysuria happened. Conclusion The four-step method for transurethral enucleation of the prostate is radical , safe, and simple.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of laparoscopy in adrenal surgery. Methods From December 2000 to May 2006,86 cases of adrenal space-occupying lesion received laparoscopic adrenalectomy via transperitoneal(n=1),retroperitoneal(n=81) and hand-assisted transperitoneal(n=4) approach, respectively. Results All the operations were successful without conversion to open surgery and severe complications. The mean operative time was 72 min(range,50-175 min). The mean blood loss was 54 ml(range,15-120 ml).The postoperative hospital stay was 6.3 d(range,5-8 d).Imaging examinations revealed no tumor recurrence and metastasis during the mean follow-up period of 26.5 months(range,2-65 months)in 86 patients. The symptoms of patients with functional tumor was alleviated or disappeared. Conclusions Laparoscopic adrenalectomy has advantages of minimal invasion, less blood loss, and quicker recovery, and it should be the fist choice for most adrenal space-occupying lesions.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2017;40(5):399-403
Objective To analyze the effect of combined detection of serum tumor markers, Ki-67 and P-glycoprotein (PGP) in lymph node metastasis and postoperative recurrence of colorectal cancerpatients. Methods The clinical data of 517 colorectal cancer patients who had underwent surgicaltreatment were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, lymph node metastasis was found in 165 cases(lymph metastasis group), and 352 cases did not have lymph node metastasis (non lymphoid metastasis);postoperative recurrence was found in 224 cases (postoperative recurrence group), and 293 cases did havepostoperative recurrence (non postoperative recurrence group). The serum tumor markers levels of cancerantigen 19- 9 (CA19- 9), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cancer antigen 125 (CA125) and theexpressions of Ki-67, PGP were compared. The correlation between the serum tumor markers levels andthe expressions of Ki-67, PGP was analyzed. Results The serum levels of CEA, CA19-9 and CA125 and the positive expression rates of Ki-67 and PGP in lymph metastasis group were significantly higher than those in non lymph metastasis group:(21.39 ± 3.15)μg/L vs. (10.12 ± 2.48)μg/L, (68.48 ± 5.82) U/L vs. (35.26 ± 3.51) U/L, (82.16 ± 7.53) U/L vs. (32.46 ± 6.24) U/L, 69.70% (115/165) vs. 13.64% (48/352) and 72.73%(120/165) vs. 14.77%(52/352), and there were statistical differences (P<0.01). The serum levels of CEA, CA19-9 and CA125 and the positive expression rates of Ki-67 and PGP in postoperative recurrence group were significantly higher than those in non postoperative recurrence group:(18.26 ± 2.34)μg/L vs. (9.18 ± 1.26)μg/L, (47.52 ± 4.85) U/L vs. (21.43 ± 2.18) U/L, (59.16 ± 4.25) U/L vs. (33.17 ± 3.46) U/L, 60.27% (135/224) vs. 9.56% (28/293) and 6.70% (15/224) vs. 7.51% (22/293), and there were statistical differences (P<0.01). The correlation analysis results showed that the positive expression rates of Ki-67 and PGP were positive correlated with the serum levels of CEA, CA19-9 and CA125 (P<0.05). Conclusions The levels of serum tumor markers and the positive expression rates of PGP and Ki-67 in colorectal cancer patients with lymph metastasis and postoperative recurrence are high. The levels of tumor markers are closely related to the positive expression rates of Ki-67 and PGP, which indicates that the combined detection of these indexes has a good effect on evaluating lymph metastasis and postoperative recurrence of colorectal cancer patients.
