Thirty-six spontaneous intracranial hypotension patients with multiple-level leakages of cerebrospinal fluid were enrolled in the study.After 30 patients received targeted epidural blood intervention for 2 times and 6 patients received targeted epidural blood intervention for 3 times,the clinical symptoms were completely relieved.During injection of autologous blood,pain at the puncture site occurred in 24 cases,radiating pain in upper extremities in 5 cases,numbness in the upper extremity in 9 cases,radiating pain in lower extremities in 6 cases,numbness in lower extremities in 7 cases,headache in 4 cases,dizziness in 3 cases and transient bradycardia in 3 cases.Most of these symptoms were self-relieved after the end of injection or after slowing the injection rate,and some were self-relieved hours later.Neck stiffness was found in 2 cases and self-relived within a few hours or days after operation,and no severe nervous systemrelated complications were found.Recurrence happened in 2 cases at 3 months after the end of treatment,and the symptoms were self-relieved after receiving targeted epidural blood intervention for a second time.The patients were followed up for 15-36 months,and no serious nervous system-related complications were observed.Therefore,targeted epidural blood intervention is safe and effective when used to treat spontaneous intracranial hypotension caused by multiple-level leakages of cerebrospinal fluid in patients.

Objective To formulate and standardized the procedure of bowl preparation before transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy. Methods The standardized transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy flowchart were formulated based on the best evidences and recommendations. One hundred and forty patients selected with suspected of prostate cancer and scheduled for transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy was equally assigned to two groups, the control group was given routine hospital practice before biopsy, and the observation group followed the formulated flowchart. Monitoring two groups for complications, time cost for bowl preparation, medical billing and the average day of hospitalization. Results The incidence of complications and the number of hospitalization days between two groups were comparable, the observation group in bowl preparation time was (3.75 ± 0.78) min, the control group in bowl preparation time was (11.88 ± 1.93) min, the difference of two groups showed statistical significance (t=15.643, P<0.01). The observation group in medical bill was￥(81.62±15.62), the control group in medical bill was ￥(427.78 ± 76.87), the difference of two groups showed statistical significance (t=-36.964, P<0.01). Conclusions Application of evidence-based practice to formalize bowl preparation and antibiotic use in transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy patient can facilitate the clinical nurses to provide homogenized care to prostate biopsy patients as well as improve the efficiency of nursing work.

Objective To design a storage device for lymph node specimens of gynecological malignant tumors and to evaluate its application effect.Methods The specimen depository is composed of 3 parts,including storage frame,partition plate and marking plate.391 patients with gynecological malignant tumor surgeries requiring collection of retroperitoneal lymph nodes were selected in the operating room of a tertiary A hospital in Zhejiang Province from January to December 2022 in accordance with the operation schedule.They were randomly divided into an experimental group(n=196)and a control group(n=195).Patients in the experimental group used a newly developed storage device,while the control group was with traditional device.The incidence of additional verification specimens by doctors,the average time for disposing of lymph node specimens,and the job satisfaction survey of doctors and nurses were compared.Results Within a period of 12 months after utilizing this easily recognizable specimen storage device,the additional verification rate in the experimental group was 10.62％compared with the rate of 72.48％in the control group.The average time of disposing lymph node specimens was reduced from(8.3±0.9)to(5.2±0.3)minutes.Doctors and nurses in the experimental group reported a higher level of satisfaction for the specimen storage device(P＜0.05).Conclusion Utilizing the newly designed specimen storage device can help medical staff to alleviate their workload,enhance their work efficiency,raise their job satisfaction,and ensure the accuracy of pathological results.

Objective:To explore the effect of stepwise nursing in postoperative rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury.Methods:From January 2020 to June 2021, convenience sampling was used to select 91 patients with spinal cord injury admitted to the Henan Third Provincial People's Hospital as the research object. The patients were divided into the observation group ( n=46) and the control group ( n=45) by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received stepwise nursing on the basis of the control group. The postoperative functional independence and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results:After six months of intervention, the scores of the Spinal Cord Independence Measure Ⅲ and the scores of each dimension of the Generic Quality of Life Inventory 74 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Stepwise nursing can promote postoperative functional recovery and improve the quality of life of patients with spinal cord injury.

OBJECTIVES: To explore the factors that influence self-management behavior in cancer patients based on the theoretical domain framework. METHODS: Studies in Chinese and English about factors influencing self-management behavior in cancer patients were searched from Wanfang database, CNKI, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Web of Science Core Collection, Cochrane library and Medline from inception to June 2022. Two investigators independently identified, extracted data, and collected characteristics and methodology of the studies. Factors were analyzed with Nvivo12, and the theoretical domain framework was mapped to the theoretical domain. Then the secondary node was generalized by theme analysis. Finally, the specific influencing factors were summarized and analyzed. RESULTS: Thirty-four studies were included for analysis. A total of 194 factors were mapped to 13 theoretical domains, and 31 secondary nodes were summarized. Theoretical domains environmental context and resources, social/professional role and identity, and beliefs about consequences were the most common factors. Knowledge, age, self-efficacy, disease stage, social support, gender, economic status and physical status were the most influential factors for self-management in cancer patients. CONCLUSIONS The influencing factors of self-management of cancer patients involve most of the theoretical domains, are intersectional, multi-source and complex.
