OBJECTIVE: To establish a HPLC method for the simultaneous assaying of levofloxacin and ganciclovir in compound levofloxacin spray.METHODS: The chromatographic column was Dikma C18 with column temperature at 30?; the mobile phase was composed of 0.025mol/L H3PO4 solution - acetonitrile(87 : 13) with detection wavelength at 278nm and flow speed at 1ml/min.RESULTS:Good linear relations were achieved when the concentration ranges of levofloxacin and ganciclovir were 12.5-4?g/ml(r =0.9 999)and 6.25-2?g/ml(r = 1.0 000) respectively, the recovery rates were 99.90%(RSD = 0.02%) and 99.96%(RSD = 0.06%) respectively .CONCLUSION: This method is convenient, fast, reproducible and with high recovery rates, which can be used to determine 2 constituents simultaneously of compound levofloxacin spray and control its quality.

Constant infusion, exponentially declining infusion and program infusion of theophlline were administered to rabbits byadopting the rabbit population pharmacokinetic parameters in this laboratory, and the plasma concentrations of the drug was measured by ul- traviolet spectrophotometry. The results showed that the plasma drug concentrations following exponentially declining infusion and program infusion attained the desired steady-state level at only 30 min, though the T1/2?= 6. 08h, The median absolute value of performance error in pro-gram infusion and exponentially declining infusion was 7. 8% and 14% respectively.

Objective To describe the technique and characteristics of simple hand-assisted laparoscopic resection of renal and adrenal. Methods A total of 37 patients (22 males and 15 females) underwent simple hand-assisted laparoscopic resection of renal and adrenal from June 1999 to April 2004.Their mean age was 52 years (range,25～65 years).Renal resection group included 29 cases,including 13 of renal carcinoma and 2 of renal pelvic carcinoma.All these 15 cases were staged as T 1N 0M 0.The average tumor volume of the renal resection group was 3 cm?3 cm?2 cm.8 of hydronephrosis,2 of renal tuberculosis,4 of renal atrophied.Adrenal tumor resection group included 8 cases;the average tumor volume was 4 cm?5 cm?6 cm. Results Simple hand-assisted laparoscopic resection of the tumors was performed successfully in 36 cases without any complication such as injury of intestines and other important abdominal viscera except 1 case who underwent open surgery.The mean operative time of nephrectomy was 145 min,and that of adrenal giant tumor resection was 125 min.The mean blood loss was 110 ml.The patients recovered well and were discharged 7 to 8 days after operation.Follow-up lasted 3 months to 5 years after operation.Of the 37 cases,35 survived healthily;2 with renal carcinoma died (1 died of cerebrovascular accident 2 years after operation and the other died of brain and pulmonary metastasis 3 years after operation). Conclusions Simple hand-assisted laparoscopic resection of renal and adrenal giant tumor has the advantages of easier performance,shortened operative time and faster recovery from operation.Thus,this technique is worthy of popularization.

Objective To study the out come of coblation arytenoidectomy combined with true and false pos-terior cordectomy for treatment of bilateral vocal cord paralysis (BVFP) .Methods The group included 17 patients (8 incomplete BVFP and 9 complete BVFP) .All the patients had waited more than 6 months before surgery with no spontaneous recovery .The patients underwent arytenoidectomy combined with true and false posterior cordecto-my using coblation under video suspension laryngoscope .Electric fibrolaryngoscope was performed before and after operation to evaluate the size of the glottis .The patients'voices were recorded before and after operation and evalua-ted by 3 laryngologists through GRBAS .Results Preoperational laryngoscope showed that in the incomplete BVFP ,the vocal folds were close to the middle line with limited abduction .In the complete BVFP ,the vocal folds failed in adduction and abduction and the size of the glottis was 2 -3mm .3 of the patients had underwent tracheotomy . Post operational electric fibrolaryngoscope showed proximate triangulate breathing space which was more than 4mm in the posterior glottis .The patients were followed up 6 to 44months .15 of the 17 were allowed for decannulation . One patient among them underwent posterior cordectomy and arytenoidectomy on the contralateral side respectively after the first operation because of dyspnea owing to scar diathesis .Two patients bunged up the canula but did not de-cannulate .Among them one was a 8-year old boy diagnosed as congenital heart disease .One was thyroid cancer with stiff neck due to radiology .The only postoperative complication was the appearance of granulations in the operation region in 2 patients ,which were disappeared spontaneously .Quality of the voice improved in 2 patients ,unchanged in 10 and worsened in 5 .Conclusion This study demonstrates that arytenoidectomy associated with posterior cord-ectomy is a satisfactory surgical treatment of bilateral vocal fold paralysis because it leads to a considerable and stable enlargement of the breathing space and preserved the voice quality .

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological features of central nervous system hemangioblastoma in von Hippel-Lindau syndrome.Methods The data of 10 patients with central nervous system hemangioblastoma in our hospital since 2013 were analyzed retro-spectively,and the clinicopathological features of central nervous system hemangioblastoma in von Hippel-Lindau syndrome were summarized. Results The macroexamination result showed that most tumor lesions were found in the cerebellum and medulla oblongata,with cystic chan-ges,size from 1 cm to 5 cm,the average size was (3.1 ±0.2)cm,clear boundary,intracapsular yellow cyst fluid.The microscopy result showed tumor foci with a rich blood supply,endothelial cell proliferation and hypertrophy in vascular,which arranged in nests or lobulated mesenchymal cells,the cytoplasm of stromal cells was abundant and lightly stained,a rich lipid was seen,with vesicular or foam.Conclusion The von Hippel-Lindau syndrome is usually cystic lesion,the microscopic examination shows tumor foci with rich blood supply,endothelial cell proliferation,hypertrophy and other changes in vascular.

Objective To investigate the stability of jinyin qingre oral liquid. Methods According to the stability test guidelines for pharmaceutical preparations,the appearance,pH and relative density of jinyin qingre oral liquid were detected, the contents of geniposide,chlorogenic acid and salvia acid B were determined by HPLC. The chromatographic conditions were as follows:AtlantisT3 column(150 mm×4. 6 mm,3 μm),mobile phase A:0. 05% phosphoric acid,mobile phase B:acetonitrle, gradient elution at the flow rate of 0. 8 mL · min-1 ,and column temperature at 35 ℃. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. Results The appearance,pH,and relative density of jinyin qingre oral liquid did not change significantly with the acceleration test,but the contents of geniposide,chlorogenic acid and salvia acid B decreased time dependently. Conclusion Light and high temperature could decrease the stability of the jinyin qingre oral liquid.

Objective:To analyze the current situation of sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces through determining the residues in Chinese herb pieces purchased by our hospital to provide the information for the quality control of Chinese herb pieces in our hospital and ensure the clinical medication safety. Methods:The methods for the detection of sulfur dioxide residues described in Chi-nese Pharmacopoeia 2010 edition and the relative literatures were adopted. Totally 100 batches of Chinese herb pieces were selected randomly from the storage waiting products, including 10 categories of 36 batches with the limitation of 400 mg·kg-1 and the other categories of 64 batches with the limitation of 150 mg·kg-1 . Results: The sulfur dioxide residues in 14 batches were out of limits, and among them, 7 batches were over 400 mg·kg-1 and the other 7 ones were over 150 mg·kg-1 . The unqualified rate was 19. 4%and 10. 9% for the samples with the limitation of 400 mg·kg-1 and 150 mg·kg-1 , respectively. Conclusion:The detection method is simple, reproducible and rapid in determining sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces. The exceeding standard situation of sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces is serious, and the management on Chinese herb medicines with sulphur fumigation should be strengthened by manufacturers. Hospitals should implement the determination of sulfur dioxide residues before storage to en-sure drug safety.

Objective: To optimize the conditions of semi-bionic extraction for Kanggan Liyan syrups. Methods: The samples were extracted by water with different pH values under the same conditions of formula composition and dosage, extraction temperature, filtration method, water voulme, centrifugal time and concentration multiple. The best conditions of the semi-bionic extraction for Kang-gan Liyan syrups were screened by uniform design with the content of forsythoside A, polydatin, baicalin and emodin and the dried ex-tract weight as the indices. Results:The best technical conditions were as follows:the pH value of water for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd de-coction was 4. 9, 7. 5 and 9. 0, respectively, and the total extraction time was 2h. Conclusion:According to the industrial production conditions, the pH value of water for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd decoction is 5. 0, 7. 5 and 9. 0 with the extraction time of 1h,0. 5h and 0. 5h, respectively.

The corresponding astronomy implications of yin-yang and five phases of traditional Chinese medicine are investigated based on the modern astronomy,universal biology,and literature research.It is found that the principles of yin-yang in traditional Chinese medicine actually refers to the strengths and the directions of gravitational forces,electromagnetic waves,high energy particle flows of celestial bodies to human.The yin-yang in the human body is a result of selective evolution from protobiont under the influence of yin-yang of celestial bodies in hundreds of millions of years.The revolution of seven luminaries,which includes the Sun,Moon,Mercury,Venus,Mars,Jupiter and Saturn,creates the day and night yin-yang from the self rotation of the Earth,season yin-yang from the revolution of the Earth around the Sun,the yin-yao from the rotation of the Moon around the Earth,and the yin-yao from the rotations of the Mars and the Jupiter.The 10 years cyclic movement of the Mercury displays the states of jiayi,bingding,wuji,gengxin,rengui,which have the allelopathic characteristics of five phases-wood,fire,earth,metal and water,respectively.With the addition of yin-yang from the Mars,the states of Mercury are divided into yang five phases including jia,bing,wu,geng and ren,and yin five phases including yi,ding,ji,xin and gui.The yin-yang and five phases of human visceras is the result of the selective evolution under the influence of yin-yang and five phases of celestial bodies in hundreds of millions of years.The 5 years periodic movement of the Venus shows the five phases characteristics of the five zhongyun.With the addition of the yin-yang from the Mars,every zhongyun shows the yin-yang characteristics,which alternate once every other year.In a cycle of sixty years,the Saturn,Mars,Venus,Mercury and Jupiter show 15 pairs of independent yin-yang states,which is corresponding to the 15 pairs of yin-yang nayin five phases.
