Objective: To discuss the research evolution of blackish facial patch. Methods: According the literatures of past dynasties,the research connotations of blackish facial patch in each dynasty were inspected.Results: During the Warring States era,the name,etiology,pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of blackish facial patch had preliminary study,only formulae and drugs absence.In Han and Tang Dynasties,it had proposed the alias of "dustycomplexion" and "blackish and withered face" etc,the etiology of phlegm and drink soiled inside of the body,striae and interstitial space suffering wind,the pathogenesis of hepatic and renal yin deficiency,weakness of the spleen and stomach,moist heat,obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis and discordance of blood-qi,the syndrome description of face like suffering dust,or black as lacquer wood or like tree sparrow egg on the color,and the treatments of formulae and drugs,acupuncture and massage etc;all of the contents were superficial.After the Song Dynasty, the study of etiology,pathogenesis and syndrome were deepen and expanded,and it had increased the pathology concepts of blood weak and kidney deficiency,domination of dryness of Yangming,dry and gloomyof the lung and hepatic and cholic fire prosperous,and the therapeutic tools and drugs were more abundant and concrete than ever,but that literatures were still fragmented and not being a system,without monographs.Entering the modern era,just as the Qing Dynasty,had not any breakthrough.Until the liberation,especially since the 80s of the last century,with the rise of cosmetology in traditional Chinese medicine,the research on blackish facial patch both in form and content dark blotches has achieved unprecedented progress.Conclusion: Understanding the origin and development of blackish facial patch,it will play a fundamental role in the future in-depth study.

This article presents the discussion on the etiological factors and pathogenesis of chloasma.On the basis of clinical experience and related literature from every dynasty,the author concludes that the causes and pathogenesis of chloasma can be summarized into 8 aspects: 1.Menoxenia,lesion of uterus and cunnus,tumors in pelvic cavity in women;excessive heat and deficiency of kidney essence in men.2.Damages in Chong-Ren meridians,e.g.infection of pathogen which goes directly into Chong-Ren;exhaustion of essence blood;coldness,phlegm or blood clot congests within the Chong-ren meridians.3.Stasis of liver-qi induced by insufficiency of blood storage and dysfunction in conveyance and dispersion.4.Shortage of essence blood.5.Lack of kidney-yang.6.Disharmony between spleen and stomach,including deficiency of spleen-stomach qi,spleen-stomach yang,and stomach yin,and surplus of stomach heat.7.Flooding of turbidness and heat,like moisture and heat in liver-gallbladder and in spleen-stomach.8.Invaded by exogenous pathogen of wind and sunlight.Knowing these points has great significance on directing therapy according to syndrome differentiation.

Objective:To observe the e ects Of Jianpitongmai soup in regulating blood fat.Methods:120 cases of hyperlipidemia patients were randomly divided into two groups:Jianpitongmai group with 60 cases and simvastatin control group with 60 cases.To compare the treatment e cacy after 8 weeks.Results:Jianpitongmai soup can signi cantly improve indicators of blood fat(P0.05).Conclusions:Jianpitongmai soup can control blood fats comprehensively,and the e ect will be cumulative with the continuation of treatment.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Zhitaiqing Granule on aortic endothelial cells in rabbit with experimental atherosclerosis. Methods:10 New Zealand rabbits were selected as blank control randomly and fed with normal forage,while the rest rabbits were fed with high-fat forage in formula A. After six weeks,hyperlipidemia models were formed and they were randomly divided into model group,Zhitaiqing treatment group,simvastatin control group and hawthorn tablet control group. From the 7th week,rabbits in treatment and control groups were fed with corresponding drugs while the blank and model groups with the same quantity of normal saline by lavage. After 11 weeks lavage,total cholesterol (CHO),triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),apolipoprotein AI (apo AI),apolipoprotein B (apo B).were detected. With the help of optical microscope,the pathological changes of the aortic arch,thoracic aorta and abdominal aortic intima were observed.
