Wnt signals widely exist in live creatures, involved in many physical or pathological processes, including the cell prolif-eration, differentiation and apoptosis. Recent studies show that Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway may play an important regula-tory role in the protective effects of neurovascular unit in ische-mic stroke. Some chemicals, such as sulindac and estradiol, and some compound traditional Chinese medicine which contains gly-coside( e. g. rhodiola rosea ) , volatile oil ( e. g. turmeric ) and compound prescription ( e. g. Dan Long Xing Nao Fang ) can protect the neurovascular unit by regulating the pathway. This aims to review the research progress of the protective effects of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway on the neurovascular unit in is-chemic stroke, with combination of chemicals and traditional Chi-nese medicine which can protect the neurovascular unit via Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. It aims to provide the methodology basis for elucidating the mechanism of drugs, and also provide a new idea for researching the new drug which can reduce the dis-ability rate caused by sequela of stroke.

An ultra performance convergence chromatographic ( UPC2 ) method was established for the attribution analysis of the main peaks as well as the quantitative determination of echinacoside andβ-ecdyserone in Bushen Jiannao Grains. The samples were extracted with ethanol and separated on Waters ACQUITY UPC2TM BEH column (100 mm × 3. 00 mm, 1. 7 μm), with a gradient supercritical CO2-0. 05%phosphoric acid-methanol solvent system at 40 ℃. The flow rate was 0. 8 mL/min, the detection wavelength was set at 248 nm and the injection volume was 1 μL. Results showed that all the main peaks in the fingerprint were clearly attributed. The peak named 12 wasβ-ecdyserone with the content of 380μg/g and the peak named 15 was echinacoside with the content of 9. 562 mg/g. The method was simple, eco-friendly, accurate and reliable compared with HPLC and UPLC.

An approach was proposed to evaluate preparation technology by means of fingerprint-peak matching technology of high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector (HPLC-DAD).Similarity and hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA) were applied to identify the 15 batches of Xiaochaihu granules from different manufacturers and our laboratory, and peak pattern matching between the composite formulae and Radix Bupleuri Chinensis, which was one of the main ingredients of Xiaochaihu granules, was utilized to evaluate the preparation technology of Xiaochaihu granules via the indexes of the relative deviation of retention time (RT) and UV spectrum feature similarity of their corresponding peaks.Eleven matching peaks were found between Xiaochalhu granules and Radix Bupleuri Chinensis. However, the saikosaponin A and saikosaponin D,which are the important active components in Radix Bupleuri Chinensis, were not found in Xiaochaihu granules from any manufacturers. The peak areas of 11 characteristic peaks of Xiaochaihu granules samples formed a matrix of 11 × 15.The result of HCA showed that Xiaochaihu granules samples were divided into four kinds of category.Xiaochaihu granules samples from the same manufacturer were basically clustered of the same category. The results suggested that the saikosaponin A and saikosaponin D are prone to structural transformation under the condition of decoction and in the presence of the organic acidic components. These active components, existing in raw herb, might transform to a series of non-active secondary saikosaponin due to unfavourable preparation technology. So the conventional decoction-based preparation technology of Xiaochaihu granules might greatly affect its quality and therapeutic effectiveness. This study demonstrates that fingerprint-peak matching technology can not only be used for quality control of this composite formulae, but also provide some guidance for preparation technology of Xiaochaihu granules.

A complete hospital security system is essential for the life and property safety of medical workers, patients and their families alike. The successful operation of the system depends on a reasonable staffing of the security department. From 2019, a tertiary hospital has explored and practiced the staffing management of security guards based on the actual needs of the hospital. The first job was to classify its security posts setup, and determine the staffing requirements of front-line security posts based on such indicators as scale, risk and people flow. The management range theory was called into play, to set the staffing coefficient of front-line security posts and their corresponding frontline administrators as 7∶1, and set that each management post needs one middle manager. The next job was to calculate the number of security guards per workload/post. The calculations estimated that the number of guards required for the four front-line security posts, namely, gate keeper post, public area patrol post, security and fire control post, and emergency response unit post, was 37, 46, 26 and 26 respectively. The corresponding management posts, namely, the office of the security department, the security management team, the fire management team, and the order maintenance team, required 7, 8, 5 and 5 management personnel respectively, totaling 160. Based on the calculations, the hospital optimized its staffing, and increased its total security personnel from 150 to 160, including the number of gate keeper posts were reduced by 17, and the number of emergency response unit posts was increased by 22. This optimization has effectively empowered the security department in dealing with medical disputes and emergencies, as well as identifying fire hazards, which serves a reference for the rational staffing of hospital security human resources.

Objective:To measure the beam stability of the electron FLASH radiotherapy accelerator developed by the Institute of Applied Electronics of Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics and to evaluate the performance of scintillator, fast current sensor (FCT) and graphite under the electron FLASH beam. Methods:Each continuous beam exit deviation and each pulse deviation at the electron FLASH radiotherapy accelerator in the same working state were measured. The correlation among three monitors and the measured dose of the accelerator at different electron beam energy (controlled by changing the charging voltage) and different beam pulse numbers were compared, which were validated by a Monte Carlo simulation procedure. Results:At the first high pressure, the first 10 scintillators and FCT signals were relatively large, approximately 2% deviation compared with the average value of 400 pulses. Among 40 beam outflows, the deviation between each pulse was within ±5%. In the accelerator steady state, each beam outflow deviation was within ±1%. Both simulated and measured values showed that the monitor could not be used for dose monitoring at different electron beam energy. However, when the energy was the same, only the number of beam pulses was changed, and linear relationship was observed between the number of the three monitors and the dose measured by the film (all R 2 > 0.999). Conclusions:The beam deviation of each beam outflow of this electron FLASH accelerator is within ±1%. Under the stability of the accelerator beam, the scintillator, FCT and graphite can meet the dose monitoring of the target area, which can provide reference for dose monitoring for subsequent biological experiments.
