Objective To study the expression of endothelin-1(ET-1) and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS) mRNA in the villus of pre-eclampsia and the effect of the ET-1 and eNOS on umbilical artery flow velocity wareforms. Methods Dot blotting, DIG-labeled human ET-1 and eNOS cDNA probes were used to examine the expression of the ET-1 and eNOS gene in the placental villus tissues of women with normal gestation and pre-eclampsia. Leica QWIN image disposal and analysis system were used to assess the mean OD of every dot. Colour doppler was used to examine the umbilical artery flow the day before childbirth. Results The level of ET-1 mRNA in placental villus was significantly higher in pre-eclampsia group than the normal group(0.43?0.03 versus 0.23?0.44,P

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(01):-
Objective To study the level of umbilical plasma erythropoietin (EPO) in normal and abnormal pregnancy and analyze the influence factors of EPO. Methods EPO concentration in 106 umbilical plasma were measured by enzyme immonoassay. Samples were divided into four groups: control group with healthy full term newborns; hypertension group with neonates born to mothers with hypertension; diabetiec group with neonates born to mothers with diabetes; asphyxia group with neonates with fetal distress or asphyxia. The relationship between the concentration of EPO and gestational age, mode of delivery and pregnant complications were analysed. Results Mothers with hypertension, diabetes, fetal distress or neonatal asphyxia were important factors influencing umbilical blood EPO production ( P

Objective To study the radiological, clinicopathological features and prognosis of metanephric adenoma. Methods Two cases were selected, which underwent partial and radical renal resection.Examined the microscopic, immunohistochemical and radiological features of 2 metanephric adenoma cases. All patients were examined by ultrasound,CT and magnetic resonance imaging. Results They were lack of blood supply in imaging examination. The tumor cells were uniform with few eosinophilic cytoplasm. The chromatin is exquisite and lack pathological mitotic figure. The tumor cells were arranged in small tube or alveolar and locally showed papillary hyperplasia.Sometimes psammoma bodies were shown..Metanephric adenoma showed positive to Vimentin and CK.Conclusions Metanephric adenoma is a rare renal tumor mostly occur in single renal. And its morphological characteristic is diversity,so it's easy being misdiagnosed as malignant tumor. The pathologists should be careful and have the concept of metanephric adenoma when diagnosis.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
Hemodynamic study of L-THP in anaesthetized rats showed that 6 mg/kg iv decreased only blood pressure (BP) significantly, and decreased left ventricular pressure ( LVP ) temporarily. At the dose of 18 mg/kg, L-THP lowered the BP, LVP, ? ( dP/dt ) max, ( dP/dt ) P-1 and HR. But the degrees o?diminutions of BP were greater than that of cardiac contractility. The inhibitory percentage of L-THP on DAP was greater than that of SAP. In addition, the extent of decrease of DAP was shown dose dependently. The results suggest that L-THP reduces the peripheral vessel resistance, and it inhibits the cardiac contractibility in high dosage.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(10):-
Objective To study the relationship of different histological types and degrees of infiltration of gastric adenocarcinoma on lymph node metastasis. Methods The clinical data of 1 615 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma were analyzed retrospectively, and the rate and number of lymph node metastasis in different histological types and with different depths of invasion were statistically analyzed. Results There were 46 227 lymph nodes collected from 1615 cases, with an average of 28.62 per case. Lymph node metastasis was found in 1046(64.77%) cases of gastric cancer and 10 173(22.01%) lymph nodes. Different TNM stages showed different rates of metastasis: T1(M)2.78%,T1(SM)13.61%,T2 55.59%,and T3 84.84% respectively, while the metastatic rate for histolgically well-differentiated carcinoma was 50.25%,and for low-differentiated earcinoma was 78.95%,and both had statistically significant difference(P

AIM: To establish a method for determing polysaccaride content of Radix Hedysari(Hedysarum Polybotrys Hand-Mazz). METHODS: To determine content of Radix Hedysari polysaccaride by HPLC and ELSD. RESULTS: The composes of Radix Hedysari polysaccaride Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ are all Rhamnose、Arabinose、Xylose、Glucose、Galactose, the average content of polysaccharides is 25.34%、24.23%、15.08%、17.24%. CONCLUSION: The contents of Radix Hedysari polysaccaride in Radix Hedysari can be determined by HPLC.

The root of Peucedanum harry-smithii var. subglabrum was extracted with methanol, then separated with solvents at different polarity into four fractions: aqueous (H2O), ethyl acetate (AcOEt), chloroform (CHCl3) and petroleum ether (DAB-6). From AcOEt psoralen, bargapten, xanthotoxin, marmesin, umbelliferone, scopoletin, (+/-) peuformosin, Pd-I b, (+/-) selinidin, praeruptorin D were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel, using petroleum ether/ethyl acetate as eluent. The structures of the coumarins were identified by 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR.

Objective:To determine the content of ginsenoside R g1 ,R e and Paeoniflorin by HPLC in Shenshao tablet. Methods: HPLC Symmetry C 18 column was used and CH 3CN H 3PO 4 (11∶89) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8mL/min, the column temperature at 30 ?C and the detective wavelength 203nm and 230nm. Results:The content of ginsenoside R g1 ,R e, and paeoniflorin can be determined by HPLC. The linear concentration ranges of these compound were 0.960?g~4.800?g, 0.912?g~4.560?g,1.050?g~ 5.250 ?g. The average recoveries were 105.2%, 98.5% and 103.5%, respectively. Conclusion: This method is simple and accurate and can be used to determine the content of Shenshao Tablet.

An ultra performance convergence chromatographic ( UPC2 ) method was established for the attribution analysis of the main peaks as well as the quantitative determination of echinacoside andβ-ecdyserone in Bushen Jiannao Grains. The samples were extracted with ethanol and separated on Waters ACQUITY UPC2TM BEH column (100 mm × 3. 00 mm, 1. 7 μm), with a gradient supercritical CO2-0. 05%phosphoric acid-methanol solvent system at 40 ℃. The flow rate was 0. 8 mL/min, the detection wavelength was set at 248 nm and the injection volume was 1 μL. Results showed that all the main peaks in the fingerprint were clearly attributed. The peak named 12 wasβ-ecdyserone with the content of 380μg/g and the peak named 15 was echinacoside with the content of 9. 562 mg/g. The method was simple, eco-friendly, accurate and reliable compared with HPLC and UPLC.
