Objective:To study the correction factor of the chamber wall of the reference air kerma rate reference ionization chamber (NIM-Ir-SG-100 type) for 192Ir radioactive source. Methods:The photon spectrum and ionization chamber wall correction factor of the radioactive source housing and irradiator model are calculated by Monte Carlo code. And then the photon energy, wall thickness and ionization chamber diameter, which affect the result of the chamber wall correction factor, are simulated. Results:After calculation, the simulation result of the correction factor of spherical graphite cavity ionization chamber wall was 1.037 7. Controlling a single variable, photon energy (0.3-1.3 MeV), wall thickness (0.2-0.5 cm), inner diameter (0.5 -15 cm), the maximum deviations of wall correction result were 1.62%, 3.30% and 2.86%, respectively. Conclusions:The self-made spherical graphite cavity ionization chamber has good performance, and the corrected kwall value of the chamber wall is within a reasonable range. The completion of the chamber wall correction factor is an important step to measure the reference air kerma rate of the 192Ir radioactive source and establish the measurement benchmark.

This study aimed at developing restraint standards for quality and safety of blood transfusion services for blood transfusion administration in clinical blood use, as well as such issues before, during and after transfusion. Such means as literature analysis, blood transfusion adverse event analysis, and system standard interpretation were used to study these issues found in clinical blood use at home and abroad, with key points identified according to the universality, high-prevalence rate, criticality and impact degree. A standard framework is established centering on transfusion service and key points as nodes. Hence a standard text comes into being, comprising four sections and 20 key points.

【Objective】 To explore the safety and effectiveness of catheter aspiration combined with catheterization thrombolysis in the treatment of acute renal infarction (ARI), so as to provide reference for the treatment of this disease. 【Methods】 A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical and follow-up data of 11 ARI patients treated with catheter aspiration combined with catheter thrombolysis at our hospital during Jan.2019 and Jun.2023. 【Results】 Among the 11 patients, upon admission, 7 manifested with abdominal pain, 5 with lumbar pain, 5 with nausea, and 1 with fever. All patients were successfully treated with catheter aspiration combined with catheterization and thrombolysis. After thrombolysis, computed tomography angiography (CTA) showed the renal artery trunk and branch vessels. In 11 patients, the renal artery, branch artery and splenic artery branch vessels were patent.D2 aggregates returned to the normal level 1 month after surgery(<0.5 mg/L).During the follow-up of 3, 6, 12 months, no previous symptoms were observed.Ultrasound or CTA showed that the renal artery remained unobstructed. 【Conclusion】 The use of catheter aspiration combined with catheter thrombolysis for the treatment of ARI caused by renal artery thrombosis is effective, minimally invasive, and worth clinical promotion.

Objective To investigate the genetic polymorphisms of Plasmodium falciparum multidrug resistance protein 1 (PfMDR1), chloroquine resistance transporter (PfCRT) and Kelch 13 (PfK13) genes in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, so as to provide insights into the development of the malaria control strategy in local areas. Methods A total of 85 peripheral blood samples were collected from patients with Plasmodium falciparum infections in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea in 2018 and 2019, and genomic DNA was extracted. The PfMDR1, PfCRT and PfK13 genes were amplified using a nested PCR assay. The amplification products were sequenced, and the gene sequences were aligned. Results There were no mutations associated with artemisinin resistance in PfK13 gene in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, while drug-resistant mutations were detected in PfMDR1 and PfCRT genes, and the proportions of PfMDR1_N86Y, PfMDR1_Y184F and PfCRT_K76T mutations were 35.29% (30/85), 72.94% (62/85) and 24.71% (21/85), respectively. Conclusion There are mutations in PfMDR1, PfCRT and PfK13 genes in P. falciparum isolates from Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea.
