To study the effects of rCBF and brain function in the patients with cerebral infarction byearly rehabilitation training. 89 cases were randomized into rehabilitation and control groups and were ex-amined rCBF by 133Xe inhalation method and BEAM. Total effect rate was 93.9%in rehabilitationgroup,to the control 77.5%(X2=3. 95,P<0.05). The rCBF rised up in two groups, but it was higher inthe foriner,to the contro1,t=4. 99,P<0. 01. BEAM improve rate was 95.9%,to the control,77.5%(X2=5. 30,P<0. 05). So we confirmed that early rehabilitation training may promote rCBF and improve brainfunction of patients with cerebral infarction.

Ranpirnase (onconase, ONC) is a new drug, with weak RNase activity and strong cytotoxicity to various tumor cells in vitro and in vivo. This study is to obtain recombination onconase (rONC) with high bioactivity. Based on the codon preference of Pichia pastoris, we designed and synthesized the gene according to cDNA sequences of ONC and the α mating factor's prepeptide. We screened positive clones after transforming the recombination plasmids into P. pastoris X-33, GSS115 and SMD1168. We screened the best combination of seven different vectors and host strains. Moreover, we optimized culture condition in shake flasks and 10 L bioreactor, and purified rONC from the supernatant after inducing it with 0.25% methanol by aqueous two-phase extraction coupling G50 molecular exclusion method. The highest rONC production was 13 mg/L in pPICZα-A/X-33/ONC combination under the condition of pH 5.5 and 23 degrees C in shake flasks for 7 d; and that the highest rONC production was 180 mg/L when the induction is performed in the lower basic salt medium with pH 5.5 in the 10 L bioreactor for 7 d. The yield of rONC is more than 90% at a purity of above 95%. rONC can kill various tumor cells in vitro. The expression and purification of rONC would be useful for further investigation of this new drug.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of clinical manifestations, risk factors, therapies and acute outcomes in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis complicated by cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Seventy-five patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis were included in the study. According to the radiological findings on the brain image, patients were divided into two subgroups:cerebral hemorrhage group and non-hemorrhage group. The demo?graphic data, potential risk factors, clinical manifestations, radiological features, therapeutic strategies and acute out?comes were compared between two subgroups, and high risk factors were also analyzed. Results There were seventy-five patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis in the present study. Twenty-eight patients of them (37.2%) had cerebral hemorrhage whereas the remaining forty-seven patients (62.7%) did not have cerebral hemorrhage. Pregnancy/puerperi?um were significantly higher in patients with cerebral hemorrhage (with vs without;28.6%vs. 6.4%, P=0.015), while in?fection was markedly higher in patients without cerebral hemorrhage (with vs without;7.1% vs. 29.8%, P=0.021). Head?ache (92.9% vs. 70.2%, P=0.021), unconsciousness (25.0% vs. 6.4%,P=0.034), seizures (53.6% vs. 19.1%, P=0.002) and motor deficits (35.7% vs. 12.8%, P=0.019) were more common in patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Moreover, mul?tiple sinus involvement (1.4% vs. 44.7%, P=0.024) was significantly higher and the acute outcomes(mRS≥3: 46.4%vs.17.0%, P=0.006)were poorer in patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Binary Logistic analysis showed that pregnancy/pu?erperium (P=0.004) and multiple sinus involvement were positively, whereas infection was negatively correlated with cere?bral venous sinus thrombosis and hemorrhage ( P=0.007;P=0.03). Conclusions Pregnancy/puerperium, headache, uncon?sciousness, seizures, motor deficits and multiple sinus involvement are more frequently in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis and hemorrhage, and the acute outcomes are poorer in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis complicated by cerebral hemorrhage.

Objective To explore the application effects of the preventive measures for patients at high risk of pressure sore managed by doctors, nurses, and patients. Methods The study investigated 74 patients at high risk of pressure sore who were hospitalized in the respiratory medicine department in a grade Ⅰ class III hospital in Anhui from January 2012 to October 2015.The participants were randomly divided into the control group (n =37)and the intervention group (n =37).The control group received the routine nursing care while the intervention group received the cooperation mode managed by doctors, nurses, and patients. The implementing rate, compliance and incidence rate of the pressure sore were compared between the two groups. Results The implementing rates of the nurses, the compliance of the patients or their family members and the incidence rates of the pressure sore were significantly better in the intervention group (94.6%,100.0%, 0.0%) compared to the control group (81.1%,78.4%,10.8%) and the differences had statistical significance (P <0.05).Conclusions The cooperation mode managed by doctors, nurses, and patients not only can improve nurses′implementing rate and patients′compliance but also can reduce the incidence of the pressure sore in high-risk patients.

Surgical position is very important in upper urinary calculi surgery. The correct surgical position can provide a good surgical field of view, shorten the operation time, reduce the incidence of complications, and ensure the safety of patients'airway and comfort.Endoscopic surgery is the preferred treatment for kidney and ureteral stones. As the traditional position causes higher recurrence rate and more complications, more positions have been experimented. This article reviews the application and therapeutic effects of different surgical positions in percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL),retrograde intrarenal flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy(RIRS)as well as their combined use,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages for clinical reference.

With the emergence of DNA nanotechnology in the 1980s, self-assembled DNA nanostructures have attracted considerable attention worldwide due to their inherent biocompatibility, unsurpassed programmability, and versatile functions. Especially promising nanostructures are tetrahedral framework nucleic acids (tFNAs), first proposed by Turberfield with the use of a one-step annealing approach. Benefiting from their various merits, such as simple synthesis, high reproducibility, structural stability, cellular internalization, tissue permeability, and editable functionality, tFNAs have been widely applied in the biomedical field as three-dimensional DNA nanomaterials. Surprisingly, tFNAs exhibit positive effects on cellular biological behaviors and tissue regeneration, which may be used to treat inflammatory and degenerative diseases. According to their intended application and carrying capacity, tFNAs could carry functional nucleic acids or therapeutic molecules through extended sequences, sticky-end hybridization, intercalation, and encapsulation based on the Watson and Crick principle. Additionally, dynamic tFNAs also have potential applications in controlled and targeted therapies. This review summarized the latest progress in pure/modified/dynamic tFNAs and demonstrated their regenerative medicine applications. These applications include promoting the regeneration of the bone, cartilage, nerve, skin, vasculature, or muscle and treating diseases such as bone defects, neurological disorders, joint-related inflammatory diseases, periodontitis, and immune diseases.
