Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
The inhibiting effect of 11 kinds of ordinary vegetables including eggplant, cucumber, Chinese cabbage, fresh kidney bean, tomato, paprika, spinach, carrot, onion and celery on the formation of N-nitroso compounds was studied. Most vegetables inhibited the formation of N-nitrosodimethylamine when am-inopyrine and nitrite added to the vegetable juice and citric acid buffer were incubated in a model system simulated stomach condition (pH 3.00, T 37℃) for 1 hr. The inhibiting rate related to the contents of ascorbic acid in the vegetables ranged from 32.70% to 97.61%. Onion, fresh kidney bean, spinach and eggplant inhibited the formation of N-nitrosodimethylamine effectively with the inhibiting rate of 77.91%, 73.40%, 57.48% and 30.75% respectively (the inhibiting effect of ascorbic acid contained in the vegetables had been excluded). The relationship between the dose and the inhibiting effect of onion, fresn kidney bean, spinach and eggplant was good with the correlation coeffecient 0.756, 0.917, 0.607 and 0.801 (p

CD4 +CD25 +Foxp3 +regulatory T cells(Tregs)are essential for tumor immunosuppressive mi-croenvironment and secrete some inhibitory cytokines IL -10,IL-35,TGF-β1 and FGL2 which are key media-tors of Treg immunosuppressive function .Tregs have been shown to be important contributors to the tumor escape immunosurveillance and play a critical role in the induction of suppression to CD 4 +T,CD8 +T and NK cell, and suppression of specific anti -tumor immunity .Further research of the role of Tregs in tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment is important to understand malignant tumor pathogenetic and immunological therapeutics .In ad-dition,Tregs and inhibitory cytokines become more critical for clinical applications ,prognosis evaluation and ther-apies.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
In our experiment the typical structure of Peyer's patches (PP) of rabbits was absent in neonatal animals, but after birth, it developed gradually and rapidly. On the 6 th day, the lymphoid structure of PP appeared and two types of lymphocytes, T and B, were observed in PP. At the same time, there were some microfold cells in the epithelium of the dome. By half a month, the lymphoid structure of PP matured histologically and later on it was more developed and PP gradually increased in size during the growth of the rabbit. The PP of a 3 month old rabbit were similar to those of the mature animals, but no involution of PP appeared at the stage of sexual maturity. The development of PP in rabbits is closely related to the first antigenic stimulation from the intestinal contents, and T, B lymphocytes and macrophages are present at the start of PP formation. In addition, there is no involution of PP in the adult rabbit. These features of PP in rabbits are different from those of the bursa of Fabricius, so it is inappropriate to regard the PP of rabbits as the homologue of the avian bursa of Fabricius.

Objective To explore the test-retest reliability of the open field test,as a method for ethology in Kunming mice. Methods The behavior of adult male Kunming mice in the open field test was recorded twice, once for five minutes, with a one-week inter-trial interval. The following parameters were evaluated:number of central squares; number of peripheral squares; percent of central squares; number of horizontal squares; number of rearings; total score; and number of fecal boli. Subsequently, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and the agreement index (Kappa) were calculated for each of these parameters. Results Both ICC and Kappa for total score( ICC =0.902, P<0.01; Kappa =0.680, P<0.01; r=0.815, P<0.01 ) showed a good reliability and correlation between the test trials. Only ICC for number of central squares ( ICC = 0. 578, P < 0.01 ), number of peripheral squares( ICC =0.615, P<0.01 ) ,percent of central squares(ICC=0.523, P<0.01) ,number of horizontal squares( ICC = 0. 607, P < 0.01 ) and number of rearings ( ICC = 0. 606, P < 0.01 ) indicated a fair reliability between the test trials. Neither ICC nor Kappa for number of fecal boli displayed a significant reliability between the test trials. The difference of these parameters between test and retest, such as number of peripheral squares( t =3.01, P<0.01 ),number of horizontal squares( t = 3.34, P < 0.01 ) and total score( t = 7.86, P < 0.01 ) were significant. Conclusion The parameter, total score for Kunming mice in the open field test,is found to be stable over time, and indicates a good reliability with a one-week inter-trial interval.

Objective To investigate the clinical and neuroimage characteristics of reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS) in Chinese elderly patients. Methods The characteristic clinical presentation and neuroimaging of 5 elderly patients with RPLS were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were one male and four females in this study, with the average age of (63.0±2.4) years, all combined with hypertension. The most common clinical presentations were abnormality of visual perception (5 cases), headache (4 cases), epileptic seizure (4 cases), disturbance of consciousness (3 cases), pathological reflex (2 cases) and hemiplegia (2 cases). CT scan showed 4 cases with low density lesions. MR1 scan showed 5 cases with occipital lobe lesions, 2 with parietal lobe lesions and 1 with temporal lobe lesions. Re-examination of CT scans showed that 4 survived patients became normal at mean (48.8±29.2) days after discharging from hospital. Conclusions The etiologies of RPLS are diverse. The vasogenic theory is supported by neuroimage of RPLS. Neuroimage may be very important for the diagnosis of RPLS. Diffusion-weighted imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient map may be helpful for differential diagnosis between RPLS and cerebral infarct.
