Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of visceral artery aneurysms (VAAs).Methods From June 2008 to December 2013,20 patients (11 male and 9 female) with visceral artery aneurysms were treated in our hospital. The clinical data and treatment outcomes were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were 20 patients, including 11 males and 9 females. The site of aneurysmal disease was splenic artery in 12 cases, mesenteric artery in 2 cases, hepatic artery in 2 cases, renal artery in 2 cases, celiac artery in 1 case and gastroduodenal artery 1 case.10 patients were treated by open surgery, and other 10 patients treated by endovascular.1 patient died, and others were discharged. All patients were followed up 28.5 months (ranged from 10 to 76 months). Two patients died due to cirrhosis of the liver, and the remaining patients were alive,no treatment-related complications,no serious complications, such as aneurysm recurrence occurs. Conclusions Both traditional surgical and endovascular treatment of visceral artery aneurysms may obtain a satisfactory outcome.

Objective To evaluate the effect of psychological interventions for patients with urnary cancer on pain and quality of life. Methods One hundred and twenty patients were randomized into research and control group. Each group contained 60 cases. The study group received regular analgesic treatment and psychological interventions. The control group received the same scheme but for psychological interventions. As LQ-C30 was applied to evaluate patients' pain intensity and quality of life respectively.Result The pain relief rate of study group acquired is different significantly from control group, as well as in a higher score in global quality of life, role function, emotional function (P<0.05).Conclusions High-quality psychological care service can improve the quality of life of patients and release cancer pain.

Objective:To analyze the value of low dose enteral nutrition (EN) in treatment of septic shock combined with acute gastrointestinal injury Ⅲ (AGI Ⅲ).Methods:Clinical data of septic shock patients combined with AGI Ⅲ admitted at our hospital were analyzed.Patients were divided into two groups according to the nutrition therapy they received:treatment group (EN,n =41) and control group (no EN,n =46).The mortality and ICU hospital stays were collected. The intestinal barrier, inflammatory cytokines, and oxidative stress were evaluated before and after EN treatment. Results:For patients in the treatment group, the dosages of EN ranged from 200 to 410 kcal/d,with the median dose of 350 kcal/d.No significant differences were found on death rates between the two groups (24.4%vs 32.6%,P =0.398).Patients in the treatment group had shorter ICU hospital stays than those of the control group (11.8 ± 3.7 vs 16.2 ± 5.3,P <0.01).After one week EN treatment, patients in the treatment group had lower levels of CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,diamine oxidase, endotoxin and D-lactate than those of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion:For septic shock patients combined with AGI Ⅲ,low dose EN can improve the intestinal barrier function and systemic inflammatory responses.

Objective To establish a mini pig model suitable for interventional studies in vivo. Methods The endothelia of unilateral renal arteries in 8 purebred Chinese experimental mini pigs(CEMP)was denuded by inflated balloons after the animals were fed with high cholesterol diet for 13 weeks. The CEMP were fed with h high cholesterol diet continuously till the 40th week. The levels of blood lipid panel and creatinine were tested at week 1,14 and 40.Bilateral renal arteries were examined with intravascular uhrasonography at week 14 and 40.The vessel samples were collected at week 40 and stained with haematoxylin-eosin,Masson trichrome technique, oil O and anti-macrophage immunohistological technique. Results Significant differences of blood lipid panel and creatinine were found between week 1 and week 40.Focal ischemic renal injury could be observed pathologically.Renal arteries of CEMP were suitable for interventional procedure such as angiography and intravascular ultrasonography.Cross-sectional information of vessels could be provided clearly by intravascular ultrasonography and the intimamedian thickness of injured renal arteries was much thicker than that of non-injured ones[(0.89±0.03)mm vs (0.30±0.02)mm,P<0.05]as evidenced by this diagnostic technique.Pathological findings demonstrated the atheroselerotic profiles of the injured renal arteries.Fibrous and fibro-fatty plaques were the main pathologic types in this CEMP model. Conclusions An animal model with renal arterial atherosclerosis mimicking the progression of atheroselerotic renovaseular disease, which is suitable for interventional procedure is established successfully.Intravascular ultasonography may have potential clinical prospect on the evaluation of atherosclerotic renovaseular disease.

Objective To explore the experience of diagnosis and surgical treatment of carotid body tumor. Methods A retrospective analysis between November 2008 and November 2015 was proceeded, the clinical data of surgical treatment for 81 patients with carotid body tumor was collected,to analyze data by SPSS19.0,and summarize the diagnosis of carotid body tumor, choice of operation methods and curative effect and complications prevention. Results Seventy-four cases underwent surgery treatment:tumors of 52 cases were simply stripped, tumors of 13 cases were resected combined with ligation of external carotid artery.Tumors of 7 cases were resected with internal and external carotid artery ligation,3 cases of whom underwent artificial blood vessel internal carotid artery end to end anastomosis.Postoperative death in 1 case of acute myocardial infarction, complicated with cerebral infarction in 2 cases,6 cases of injury of cranial nerve relieved after symptomatic treatment. No hemiplegia, aphasia and other serious complications.Tumor size and the surgery time correlation analysis:the correlation coefficient was 0.226,no significant correlation. Conclusions CTA is the most commonly used method of preoperative examination.Surgical resection is an effective method in treatment of carotid body tumor.Prevention injury of carotid artery cr internal carotid or common carotid artery and their reconstruction is the key to a successful operation.Sufficient preoperative assessment, select the appropriate operation method, intraoperative careful performance can ensure the cerebral perfusion,is the key to prevent and reduce the complications.
