Objective:To investigate the effects of fasting blood glucose levels on the quality of myocardial metabolism imaging via positron emission tomography/X-ray computed tomography(PET/CT)in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods:A total of 78 patients with coronary heart disease from 2019 to 2020 undergone 18-fluorine deoxyglucose( 18F-FDG)PET/CT myocardial imaging in Beijing Anzhen Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, with 64 patients meeting the inclusion criteria eventually enrolled in this study. All patients fasted over 8 hours and were injected with insulin and 18F-FDG following an oral glucose load. Then myocardial imaging evaluations were performed.Depending on whether the myocardial image quality(IQ)offered a match with clinical diagnosis, a score between 0-2 from the semiquantitative scoring system was defined as good IQ, while a score between 3-4 defined as poor IQ.Differences in sex, age, rate of diabetes, body mass index, fasting blood glucose(FBG), glycosylated hemoglobin, glycosylated serum albumin, triglycerides and free fatty acids, lipid-regulating drugs, and oral antidiabetic medications were analyzed between the good( n=55)and poor( n=19)image groups, and risk factors were examined. Results:The diabetes mellitus rate was higher in the poor group than in the good group(63.2% vs.33.3%, χ2=4.872, P=0.027). FBG, glycosylated hemoglobin and glycosylated serum albumin levels in the poor group were increased compared with the good group[7.67(6.02, 11.64)mmol/L vs.5.52(4.97, 6.37)mmol/L, 7.30(6.43, 8.70)% vs.6.20(5.60, 6.87)%, 19.8(15.1, 24.1)% vs.14.8(13.9, 16.8)%, U=-3.909, -2.419 and -3.042, P<0.001, P=0.016 and 0.002, respectively]. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that FBG was an independent risk factor for poor imaging( OR=1.62, 95% CI: 1.19-2.20, P=0.002). The area under the receiver operator characteristic(ROC)curve for FBG was 0.811(95% CI: 0.69-0.93, P<0.001), and the cut-off value for FBG was 6.66 mmol/L. Conclusions:FBG is an independent risk factor for myocardial image quality.Patients with diabetes mellitus should rigorously control their blood glucose levels.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
The recombinant plasmid pPIC-gpd-bgl-hyg was constructed, which contained GPD2 promotor and terminator from industrial yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae, ?-glucosidase gene (BGL1) from Sac-charomycopsis fibuligera and hyg from hygromycin as the selected marker. With the yeast’s high efficiency of homologous integrated, the BGL1 gene was successfully integrated into industrial yeasts S. cerevisiae. The recombined yeast could grow on the cultures with the cellobiose as a sole carbon source, and the ?-glucosidase activity achieved 0.764 U/mL after 48 hours’ cultivation. In the experiments of VHG ethanol fermentation, the cellobiose concentration in broth of recombined yeast was 80% lower than that of indus-trial yeast.

Objective To explore the chest features of patients with the novel influenza type A H1N1 on HRCT. Methods One hundred and seventy-two chest HRCT examinations on 163 cases with Influenza type A H1N1 (9 cases were reexamed) were retrospectively analyzed using standard pulmonary window and mediastinal window, respectively. HRCT imaging appearances were summarized. Results Ninety-seven cases showed normal on chest HRCT, while the others showed abnormalities of parenchymal and interstitial. Among them, HRCT identified ground-glass opacity in 35 cases (53.0%), centrilobular nodules in 30 cases (45.5%), thickening of intralobular septa in 31 cases (47.0%), intralobular thin reticulation and micro-nodule in 8 cases (12.1%), single-lobular inflammation in 19 cases (28.8%), consolidation of lung(the large consolidation and multiple small consolidations)in 15 cases (22.7%), pulmonary atelectasis in 3 cases (4.5%), and irregular lines in 2 cases (3.0%). Pleurisy was also revealed including 8 cases with right pleurisy, 5 cases with left pleurisy, and 19 cases with bilateral pleurisy. Mediastinal and axillary lymphadenopathy were found in 7 cases, who were spared of pleural effusion. All above abnormalities resolved quickly after anti- virus treatment. Conclusion Parenchymal and interstitial abnormalities, mediastinum and axillary fossa lymphadenopathy, and pleural effusion were the common findings on HRCT in patients with Influenza type A H1N1, which were similar to those of other viral pneumonia.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of establishing benign proliferative esophageal stenosis model by using stent implantation in experimental rats. Methods A customized self-expanding,metallic and straight tubular stent was used in this experiment (5 mm in diameter and 15 mm in length),on both sides at the stent's middle part there was a protruding barb that was used as a fixation device.Twelve healthy Sprague Dawley (SD) rats were randomized divided into group A (blank control group) and group B (stent implantation group),with 6 rats in each group.Esophageal stent implantation was employed in the rats of group B,and esophageal radiography was separately performed immediately, one and 4 weeks after stent implantation. All the experimental rats were sacrificed 4 weeks after stent implantation. The normal esophageal tissue of the rats in group A and the esophageal tissue at stent site of the rats in group B were collected and sent for pathological examinations, including gross morphology, light microscopy, etc. Results Successful stent implantation was achieved in all rats of group B,and the esophageal radiography performed immediately, one and 4 weeks after stent implantation showed no esophageal stent displacement;no severe complications occurred during the operation or follow-up period.Compared with group A,esophageal radiography reexamination performed 4 weeks after stent implantation in group B revealed that esophageal stricture at stent segment, caused by benign tissue hyperplasia, could be observed. The esophageal stent segment was taken out,its lumen was obviously narrowed under gross observation, and typical benign hyperplasia could be seen under optical microscope examination. Conclusion Using esophageal stent implantation to establish esophageal stenosis model is safe and feasible in experimental rats. The use of esophageal stent with barbs can significantly reduce the incidence of stent displacement.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of early alterations of carotid arterial intima-media thickness (IMT) and elastic function in patients with hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) using ultrasound radio-frequency technique. Methods 48 patients (triglyceride value ≥ 1.8 mmol/L) were chosen as HTG group.Quantitative intimamedia thickness (QIMT) and quantitative arterial stiffness (QAS) techniques were used to observe the alterations of carotid arterial IMT and elastic index, including diameter of carotid artery (D),distensibility coefficient (DC),compliance coefficient (CC),elasticity coefficient (α),elasticity coefficient (β) and pulse wave velocity (PWV).50 healthy subjects were recruited in control group.Differences of the above-mentioned parameters were analyzed,as well as the elastic index connections between the two groups. Results IMT,α,β,and PWV index of bilateral carotid arteries in HTG group was higher than that of the control group, while the DC and CC index was lower, and the differences was statistically significant (P<0.05).Within the groups there were differences between the elastic indexes of bilateral carotid arteries. In control group and the HTG group:CCL>CCR,αL>αR,βL>βR,PWVL>PWVR.CC was negatively correlated to α,β and PWV (P<0.05).Meanwhile,there was positive correlation among α,β and PWV (P<0.05).The differences of D between two groups had no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusions The abnormity of arterial occurs earlier than the morphological change, while the ultrasound radio-frequency technique can provide information of earlier alteration of common carotid arteries structure and elastic function in patients with HTG,which is a significant method of testing early alteration of carotid elastic in patients with HTG.
