Objective To investigate the pathogenesis of brain-type hemodialysis disequilibrium syndrome(DDS) in dogs with acute renal failure. Methods Seventy-two hours after bilateral ureteral ligation,12 uremic dogs were hemodialyzed for 2 hours, yeilding decreases in plasma urea from (66. 76?13.70) mmol/L to (17. 85?5. 84)mmol/L( P
3.Clinical study on the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with small-dose ranitidine and diphenoxylate compositae
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(12):-
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of small-dose ranitidine hydrochloride and diphenoxy- late compositae in the combined treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS).Methods A prospective, randomized controlled clinical trial was designed.150 D-IBS patients according to RomeⅡcriteria were randomly divided into combined treatment group and control group. The combined treatment group(74 patients)re- ceived ranitidine hydrochloride,0.15g,each evening and diphenoxylate compositae,1 piece, each evening. The control group(76 patients)received diphenoxylate compositae,1 piece, rid. This study consisted of a 2-week baseline period, a 3-week treatment period, followed by a 2-week follow-up period. The main efficacy variable was assessed by per- ception of overall symptom during the previous weeks.Secondary efficacy variables included severity of diarrhea,ab- dominal pain and distention and other symptoms. Results After treatment of 3 weeks, the efficacy of the combined treatment group was better than that of the control group(x~2=5.10,P
4.Therapeutic effect of lacrimal balloon surgery on lacrimal duct obstruction in infants
International Eye Science 2017;17(9):1796-1798
AIM:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of balloon dilatation in infants with lacrimal passage obstruction.METHODS:Totally 86 patients (116 eyes) with lacrimal duct obstruction from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table. The observation group (43 cases, 60 eyes) were operated with balloon dilatation and the control group (43 cases, 56 eyes) were treated with duct exploratory operation. The patients were followed up for 6mo to compare the efficacy.RESULTS:At the 6mo postoperatively, the primary cure rate and total cure rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Balloon dilatation operation is safe, and its clinical efficacy is better than lacrimal duct exploratory operation, is an effective way to treat lacrimal duct obstruction in infants.

Objective To observe the formation of biofilms on endotracheal tubes ,and to determine the effect of azithromycin on Haemophilus influenzae in biofilms .Methods One hundred and twenty Wistar rats were intubated with a silicone tube ,80 of them(40 rats were model group and 40 were medicine group) were infected by bacteria to establish the animal models of endotra-cheal tube infections the others were ues as control gruop .Formation of biofilms was detected by scanning electron microscope .Via-ble cells counting was carried out to evaluate the effect of azithromycin orally on biofilms on endotracheal tubes .Results Uneven biofilms were formed on the surface of endotracheal tubes ,and slim bodied of bacteria enclosed by a lot of extracellular matrix .Via-ble cells counting was reduced in medicine group compared with model group .Conclusion Haemophilus influenzae can form bio-films on endotracheal tubes .Azithromycin can exert inhibitory effect on haemophilus influenzae biofilms formed on endotracheal tubes .

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To summarize and discuss the diagnostic and treating experiences of chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head. Methods Eight patients of chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head who were misdiagnosised as carcinoma of head of pancreas were analyzed retrospectively in the past 10 years. Results All the patients exhibited abdominal pain,5 of whom were with jaundice and 3 with anorexia. All the patients were misdiagnosised as carcinoma of head of pancreas before the operation, but the pathology after operation indicated chronic pancreatitis. The pancreaticoduodenectomy was performed in 5 patients, the choledochojejunostomy in 2 patients, while the exploratory laparotomy in 1 patient. After the operations, the abdominal pain was relieved in 7 patients, while 2 patients who accepted pancreatoduodenectomy suffered from pancreatic fistula,1 of whom died in the end. Conclusion It’s hard to differentiate the chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head from the carcinoma of head of pancreas before operation. If the carcinoma of head of pancreas can’t be excluded during the operation, the pancreatoduodenectomy should be performed, while the duodenum-preserving total resection of the head of the pancreas or any intra-drainage operations should be done if chronic inflammation is found in the whole pancreas with a negative result of the biopsy of the pancreas through the needle aspiration.

Objective To study the diagnostic and treatment value of wire guided localization of breast biopsy for non-palpable breast lesions. Methods The clinical data of 314 cases of non-palpable breast lesion resection operation in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The accuracy rate of resection and postoperative pathological examination results were analyzed. Results All lesions were positioned accurately and completely resected,48 cases in 314 cases were breast cancer(15.3 %),in which 42 cases were early breast cancer which were confirmed by pathology (87.5%).Conclusion Wire guided localization of breast biopsy has high accuracy, low cost, which is useful for the diagnosis of early breast cancer, there is a certain value in clinical application.

Objective To study the clinical value of mammography and ultrasound needle localization biopsy technique in clinical nonpalpable breast disease. Methods 148 patients with negative clinical palpation were operated only because of the mammography or ultrasound findings of lesions. They were undergone localized excision biopsy and derived definite pathological diagnosis.By histopathology diagnosis, benign and malignant lesions, lesion size, complete resection rate were statistically analyzed. Results 21 cases in 148 cases were malignant lesions(14.2%),which were all early breast cancer. The other 127 cases were benign breast disease(85.8%).147 cases were successfully resected at the first time and 1 case was successfully resected at the second time. Conclusion Mammography and Ultrasound fine needle localized biopsy in nonpalpable breast disease diagnosis and treatment has great significance, which can raise early diagnosis rate of breast cancer without mass, and this method is simple and easy for promotion.
