Calcification of silicone rubber is a pathologic mineralization phenomenon which occurs on the surface after it is implanted in vivo,and there is no effective prevention method.The important process of calcification including these steps:phosphate ions combined with calcium ions to promote nucleating aggregation,slow increasing,fusion,and gradually form a larger accumulation of hydroxyapatite calcium.The research had been developed to the level of cells and genes,such as matrix Gla protein clusters is a calcification inhibitor of the tissues around silastic prosthesis.It is necessary to obtain a theoretical breakthrough in the aspect of organic template modulation of inorganic crystals.Silicone elastomer having its own local anti-calcification property had been paid more attention.Fully revealing the mechanism of calcification and calcification-resistant of silicone rubber will probably provide the basis for building a new anti-calcification material.

Objective To understand the cognition of clinical medical postgraduates' professional ethics,in order to provide the basis for the further development of graduate professional ethics education.Methods The survey was carried out among 650 graduate students of the first hospital of Jilin University by self-designed questionnaires.The questionnaires included the general situation and the understanding of professional ethics of medicine.All data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0,using Chi-square test to compare the results in different grades about the understanding of professional ethics.Results In this study,a total of 650 questionnaires were issued,and 629 valid questionnaires were collected with a recovery rate of 96.7％.Most graduates' professional values were in line with the socialist core values.For example,for the attitude of medical workers to accept red envelopes,410 graduate students (65.2％) firmly opposed to accepting this behavior.For the purpose of the study medicine,there was no statistically significant difference among different grades (P=0.273).For the attitude of red paper,the main problem in medical ethics education and the biggest factor for graduates,there was statistically significant difference among different grades (P=0.012,P=0.002,P=0.002,respectively).Conclusion At present,the professional ethics of postgraduates in clinical medicine is in good condition,but still needs to be improved.We can give further education and guidance to students for the problems existing in graduate students of different grades.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of nebulization treatment for childhood respiratory virus infection with human recombinant interferon α-1b.Methods A randomized,controlled clinical re-search was designed.375 subjects with children respiratory tract virus infection were randomly divided into the treat-ment group(250 cases) and control group(125 cases).In addition to conventional therapy,the treatment group with recombinant human interferon α-1b and the control group with ribavirin were executed by using nebulization treat-ment.Results A total of 357 subjects were statistically included in the trail.Sore throat,cough,wheezes,rale of lung disappearing time and the days of hospitalization of treatment group were significantly different(u=5.83,6.51,6.33, 7.39,5.57,6.62,all P<0.01) compared with the control group;The treatment group in the cure rate and total effec-tive rate was significantly higher(χ2 =7.85,25.71,all P<0.01),and no obvious adverse reactions were reported. Conclusion Nebulization treatment of childhood respiratory virus infection with human recombinant interferon α-1b is safe and effective.The method of operation is simple and thus its application is worth promoting in clinic.

Objective To investigate the effect of blood pressure management on perihematomai edema in patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods The retrospective research method was used to conduct logistic regression analysis for the factors of age, number of days, antihypertensive drugs, dehydrating agents, and blood pressure in inpatients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage from June 2005 to December 2007. Results Multivariate analysis found that both amlodipine (OR = 0. 208, 95% CI 0. 063-0. 684) and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) (OR = 0. 280, 95% CI 0. 085-0. 920) were the protective factors for perihematomal edema; both the course of 10 to 20 days (OR =7.413, 95% CI 1. 362-40. 360) and poorly controlled diastolic blood pressure (OR = 6. 449, 95% CI 1. 011-41. 145) were the risk factors for perihematomal edema. Conclusions Amlodipine and ACEI may lower the risk of perihematomal edema in intracerebral hemorrhage, while the poorly controlled diastolic blood pressure and the course of 10 to 20 days are the risk factors for perihematomal edema.

OBJECTIVETo study whether the analgesis of oxymatrine (OMT) affects N-type voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs).

METHODSTotally 45 mice were randomly divided into the sham-operation group, the model group [established by partial sciatic nerve ligation (PSNL)] , and the OMT treatment group according to random digit table, 15 in each group. The dorsal root ganglions (DRG) were separated in PSNL pain model mice. Intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i) was determined with Fluo-3 AM immunofluorescent probe in cultured DRG neurons. Different protein expression levels of N-type (Cav2. 2) and L-type ( Cav1. 3) among VGCCs from brain and DRG tissues were detected with Western blot.

RESULTSCompared with the sham-operation group, [Ca2+]i, increased in cultured DRG neurons (P <0. 05) , protein expression levels of Cav2. 2 in the brain tissue increased (P <0. 05), protein expression levels of Cav2. 2 in DRG tissues decreased in the model group (P <0. 01). Compared with the model group, [Ca2+]i, decreased in cultured DRG neurons (P < 0. 05), protein expression levels of Cav2. 2 in the brain tissue decreased (P <0. 01), protein expression levels of Cav2. 2 in DRG tissues increased in the OMT treatment group (P <0. 01). There was no statistical difference in Cav1. 3 expressions in cultured DRG neurons and the brain (P >0. 05).

CONCLUSIONAnalgesic effect of OMT might be related to Cav2. 2 channel mediated calcium ion flux.

Post-stroke depression(PSD) is one of the most common complications after stroke,and seriously influenced the quality of life of hemiplegic patients.The article would review the associated factors and mechanism of PSD.

The definition of critical quality attributes of Chinese materia medica ( CMM) was put forward based on the top-level design concept. Nowadays, coupled with the development of rapid analytical science, rapid assessment of critical quality attributes of CMM was firstly carried out, which was the secondary discipline branch of CMM. Taking near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy as an example, which is a rapid analytical technology in pharmaceutical process over the past decade, systematic review is the chemometric parameters in NIR model evaluation. According to the characteristics of complexity of CMM and trace components analysis, a multi-source information fusion strategy of NIR model was developed for assessment of critical quality attributes of CMM. The strategy has provided guideline for NIR reliable analysis in critical quality attributes of CMM.

Abstract: Objective　To investigate the relationship between the body mass index (BMI) levels and the negative conversion time of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) nucleic acid in adult coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients and the asymptomatic persons. Methods　Asymptomatic infected patients and confirmed COVID-19 patients admitted to Chengdu Public Health Clinic Center from February 2021 to November 2021 were dynamically included. The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of the objects were collected, and the SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid testing of the objects during their hospitalization was continuously monitored, and the negative nucleic acid conversion time was recorded. The t test or Wilcoxon rank sum test, χ2 test or Fisher's exact probability method examine were used to distribute characteristics of each group of variables and the connection between different variables, respectively. Then the variables showed differences in distribution (P<0.05) between different BMI groups were included in the multivariate Cox proportional risk regression model. Results　A total of 253 subjects ranged from 18 to 63 years old, with M(P25, P75) age of 37.0 (30.0, 47.0) years old, were included in this study. The male to female ratio was 4.16 to 1. The BMI was (23.97±3.33) kg/m2. 50.59% (128/253) of the objects were overweight or obese, and 78.13% (100/128) were overweight. The negative time of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid conversion of all subjects ranged from 1 to 71 days, with M(P25, P75) of 7.0 (2.0, 18.0) days (P<0.001). The negative time of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid conversion of the normal weight or the thin, and the overweight or obese were 5.00 (2.00, 19.00) and 8.00 (2.00, 17.75) days respectively. The results of multivariate Cox's proportional hazards regression model showed that the BMI levels may not be associated with the negative conversion time of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid (HR=1.090, 95%CI: 0.843-1.410, P=0.510). Conclusions　Adult asymptomatic persons and confirmed COVID-19 patients are mainly middle-aged and young males, and overweight or obesity is relatively common. Overweight or obesity cannot be considered as an independent factor influencing the negative conversion time of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid.

BackgroundReactive oxygen intermediate products lead to the oxidative injury of cells.Retinal pigment epithelial(RPE) cells produce lots of reactive oxygen intermediate products during the swallow of out disc,but how this procedure cause the persistent oxidative injury of RPE cells is poorly understood.Objective The present study was to evaluate the effect of non-lethal H2 O2 -induced persistent oxidative injury on RPE barrier in vitro.MethodsARPE-19 cell links were inoculated on 96 well plate at the density of 8×104 cells/L and the cell climbing slice of 24 well at the density of 4× 104 cells/L.The cells were cultured in DMEM/F12 medium,and the cells cultured for 24 hours in free-serum medium were used in the experiment.0-0.6 mmol/L of H2O2 were added into the medium.Cellular viability was assessed using 3- ( 4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl ) -5- ( 3-carboxymethoxyphenyl ) -2- ( 4-sulfophenyl ) 2H-tetrazolium(MTS) assays.Transepithelial electrical resistance (TER) was used to detect cell monolayer forming time after cultureinTrsnswellchamber.Thepermeabilityof cellmonolayer was examinedbyrhodamine isothiocyanate-dextran transepithelial flux,and immunofluorescence was used to investigate the distribution of the junction protein zonula occludens (ZO-1).ResultsThe total difference was found in the cell vitality(A490) among the different concentrations of H2 O2 ( F =991.501,P =0.000 ).Compared with 0 mmoL/L H2 O2 group,the A490 values was gradually lowed from 0.20 mmol/L H2O2 group to 0.60 mmol/L H2O2 group (P ＜ 0.05 ).H2O2 at the concentrations of ＞0.20 mmol/L lowed the viability of RPE cells.The TER value was ( 24.9 ± 1.3 ) Ω · cm2 in 11 days,( 17.8± 1.4)Ω · cm2 in 7 days after inoculation on transwell chamber,showing a significant difference between them (t=5.228,P=0.014).RPE formed the stable tight junction on day 15 with the TER value (25.9±0.9 ) Ω · cm2.The leakage amount ( relative fluorescence intensity ) of the dextran was 255.39 ± 16.44 in non-H2 O2 control group,exhibiting a significant lowing in comparison with free-cell blank group (433.08±51.53)( t =12.515,P =0.006 ),and that of H2 O2 group was significant increased in comparison with non-H2 O2 control group ( t =14.412,P=0.005).Immunofluyorescence assay showed intact intercellular ZO-1 junction in non-H2O2 control group,but the breakage of ZO-1 junction was seen in H2O2 group.ConclusionsThe results indicate that non-lethal H2O2 can destroy RPE barrier and further lead to the persistent oxidative injury of RPE cells.

Objective To discuss the characteristics,growth and development of atlantoaxial pedicle in preschool children,and to provide the basic theoretical basis for the design,production and clinical application of pedicle screw technique in the treatment of atlantoaxial disease in preschool children.Methods Excluded patients with atlantoaxial fractures,deformities,tuberculosis and tumor,the clinical data of 60 children aged from 3 to 6 years old with cervical spondylolisthesis were collected.The original CT images were reconstructed in DICOM format and the subjects were reconstructed with Mimics software.The subjects were grouped by age to measure and analyze the atlantoaxial pedicle correlation.Results The pedicle width(PW),pedicle height(PH) and total length of pedicle bone channel (PL) increased gradually with age.The PW/PH ratio of the vertebrae(C1) is greater than 1.0,and that is, the width of the pedicle of the C1 pedicle is greater than the height.The PW/PH ratio of the vertebral (C2) is less than 1.0,which means the width of the pedicle of the C1 pedicle is less than the height.Conclusion The growth and development of spine in preschool children are fast, and the pedicle of atlantoaxial calculus in different age groups has different developmental characteristics.In this study,the diameter of the pedicle of the atlantoaxial pedicle in the 3 to 6 year old children is increasing with age.The pedicle screw with the smallest diameter of 3.5 mm can be implanted into the atlantoaxial pedicle with feasibility in theory.
