A questionnaire survey on awareness of child health management was conducted in 238 family members ( 236 were parents) of children aged 0 - 36 months; among whom 92 of children aged 0 to 6 months,85 of children aged 7 to 12 months,33 of children aged 13 to 18 months,16 of children aged 19 to 24 months and 12 of children aged 24 to 36 months.52.1% of the surveyees had college education level. The awareness about medical examination in last half year in female subjects was higher than males ( P < 0.05).There were no differences in other health management knowledge. The results showed that the average times of medical examination was 2.8 ± 1.9 in last half year; the age for supplement of meat in food was 7.4 ± 2.4 mouths; supplement of meat, animal liver and eggs was more than 7 time a week. The subjects with college education or above paid more attention to the children's growth, risk for rickets and anemia than other peoples.Pure breast feeding accounted for only 37.0% (88/238).The study indicates that strengthening the knowledge and awareness is necessary to improve the children health management.

Objective To research the therapeutic effect of vitamin E in prevention and treatment of anemia in premature children. Methods We investigated 90 cases of premature children admitted to the neonatal ward of our hospital from December 2010 to December 2011.According to hospital successively order these premature were randomly divided into control group (Group A),high-dose group (Group B),low-dose group (Group A).Group A including 30 cases, subcutaneous injection of erythropoietin(EPO) from the 7th days after admission,750IU/kg weekly for 3 times, for 4 weeks. At the same time, plus iron 6mg/(kg·d).On the basis of the above-mentioned control treatment, oral administration of different doses of vitamin E was in the treatment group, for 4 weeks.Group B including 30 cases was given vitamin E 15mg/(kg·d).Group C including 30 cases was given vitamin E 2.5mg/(kg· d).The changes of each group during the treatment in hematocrit (Hct),hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cell(RBC),reticulocyte(Ret) and the changes of serum concentrations of vitamin E before and after treatment were observed. Results Hct,Hb,RBC,Ret in group B,group C patients were both improved. The improvement of the indicators was better than that of group A (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the improvement of each index of Group B and Group C(P > 0.05).Serum concentrations of vitamin E after treatment in group B and group C patients were significantly higher and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Serum concentration of vitamin E in group A didn't increase obviously. Conclusion Additional small doses of VitE should be given during EPO prevention of anemia in premature children.

Objective To explore the changes of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) in serum and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) and its clinical significance. Methods TNF-? in serum and CSF were measured by radioimmunoassay and CSF samples were obtained from 31 cases of childhood acute leukemia before treatment, on complete remission(CR), and continuous CR.Results Serum TNF-? was in ALL and AML before treatment [(24.35?4.84) pmol/L and(28.65?5.12) pmol/ L],which were significantly higher than those of healthy controls[(11.2 8? 1.69) pmol/L, P

ABSTRACT:Objective To explore the expression of chemokine receptor CX3CR1 in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP)rats model and to estimate whether it can be a potential predictor of SAP.Methods Forty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-operation (SO)group (n =20)and SAP group (n =20).Rats were killed at 6 h,12 h,24 h and 48 h after model induction. The serum level of CX3CR1 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The expression of CX3CR1 protein in the pancreas, lung and kidney were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results The serum level of CX3CR1 in SAP rats increased gradually after model induction and reached the peak at 24 h (542.4 pg/mL),which were significantly higher than those in SO group (P <0.05).The expression of CX3CR1 was found in the pancreas, lung and kidney tissues of SAP rats and higher than that in SO group.Meanwhile, the expression of CX3CR1 reached the peak at 24 h in the pancreas and lung and at 48 h in the kidney. Conclusion This study suggests that the chemokine receptor CX3CR1 may be one effective index for predicting the severity of acute pancreatitis and deserves further research.

Background and purpose:The pain is not only the chief symptom of cancer but also the main factor of survival quality for the cancer patient. So it is the most difficult for how to control the pain of moderate to severe late-stage cancer and reduce the rate of side effects. We observed the analgesia effects of micro-dosage ketamine associating morphine patient control skin analgesia(PCSA) for latter cancer pain patients.Methods:52 cases middle, latter cancer pain patients were divided two groups randomly, the first group used the morphine PCSA and the second group used micro-dosage ketamine associating morphine PCSA.The VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) was used to evaluate the pain level, then statistic the side effects rate of two groups. Results:Two groups patients'pain all alleviated fundamentally, the VAS of every period have not statistic difference, but the PCSA pressing times in the first group was more than in the second group. The second group patients'life satisfactory rate was higher obviously than the first group patients';Side effects:the incidence of nausea, vomiting, indulge in sleep and skin titillation in the first group was higher than in the second group;the incidence of respiration depression and hallucination had not difference between two groups.Conclusion:Micro-dosage ketamine associating morphine patient control skin analgesia(PCSA)approach appears to provide patient with safe and effective pain relief and reduce side-effect for moderate to severe late-phase cancer pain, easy to perform and have no process complication to used in clinic.

Objective To explore the expressions of Survivin and VEGF and relationship between them in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The expressions of Survivin protein and VEGF protein in 50 HCC.30 cirrhosis and 10 normal tissues were assessed by immunohistochemical method. The expressions of Survivin mRNA and VEGF mRNA in 50 HCC,30 cirrhosis and 10 normal tissues were assessed by in situ hybridization. Results The expressions of Survivin and VEGF in cancer tissues, cirrhosis tissues, normal tissues weresignificantly different. The expression of Survivin in HCC tissues was stronger than that in cirrhosis, but the expreesion of VEGF in cirrho- sis was stronger than that in HCC tissues. Conclusion The expression of survivin.is closely associated with the ex- pression of VEGF in HCC and they take positive correlation. The abnormal expressions of Survivin and VEGF are closely associated with the development of HCC.They may play important roles in the development of HCC.
