Objective:To study the regularity and characteristics of adverse drug reaction ( ADR) in our hospital. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 306 ADR reports collected in our hospital in 2013. The reports were statistically analyzed in re-spect of sex, age, route of drug administration, drug categories, organs/systems involved in ADR and clinical manifestations, classifi-cation of ADR, causality assessment, constituent ratio of the reporters etc. Results:In the 306 ADR reports, the incidence of ADR be-tween the age of 51 and 60 was the highest (20. 26%); the ratio of the ADR induced by intravenously drip administration was the highest in respect of the route of administrations (65. 58%);the radio of ADR induced by antibacterial agents was the highest in re-spect of drug types (20. 78%);digestive system was the maln lesion in ADR cases (23. 91%). The ADR cases were mostly reported by doctors (97. 71%). Conclusion:Our hospital should enhance the ADR monitoring and reporting, promote the clinical rational drug use, reduce or avoid the risk of ADR and protect medication safety of patients.

Objective To investigate the effects of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), dexamethasone (DEX), and S adenomethionine (SAMe) on the pregnant rats with intrahepatic cholestasis induced by ethinylestradiol (EE). Methods A total of 50 15 day pregnant Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups: control group, EE group, UDCA group, DEX group, and SAMe group. In EE group, rats were subcutaneously injected with EE (2.5 mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ) for 5 d. In the control group, rats received subcutaneous injection of appropriate volume of propylene glycol (PG) for 5 d. In UDCA, SAMe, and DEX groups, rats were administered with the same dose of EE plus UDCA (100 mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ), SAMe (100 mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ), and DEX (1 mg?kg -1 ?d -1 ) for 5 d, respectively. The serum levels of aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatases (ALP), glycocholic acid (GC), and total bilirubin were measured after cesarean. Morphologic changes of the liver of pregnant rats and the growth and development of the fetal rats were observed. BACKGROUND:There were stil lacking related clinical researches in the aspects of whether the total blood loss and hidden blood loss were connected with pathogenesis, whether the total blood loss and hidden blood loss were different among the patients who conducted total hip arthroplasty under different pathogenesis, and whether the preoperative intervention should be conducted for a particular cause? OBJECTIVE:To compare and analyze the hidden blood loss of patients with hip osteoarthritis and femoral neck fracture after total hip replacement. METHODS:The clinical data of 150 patients who received the unilateral total hip arthroplasty treatment from June 2013 to January 2015 were colected and analyzed, including 54 patients with hip osteoarthritis (30 male cases and 24 female cases ), 96 patients with femoral neck fracture (41 male cases and 55 female cases). The pre-and post-operative blood routine and intro-and post-operative blood loss and transfusion were recorded, and hidden blood loss during pen-operation period was evaluated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Total blood loss was (1 616±216) mL, hidden blood loss was (699±102) mL, and hidden blood loss accounted for 43.3% of the total blood loss. The total blood loss was (1 742±254) mL in the hip osteoarthritis group, hidden blood loss was (758±127) mL, hidden blood loss accounted for 44.6% of the total blood loss; The average total blood loss was (1 470±189) mL in the femoral neck fracture group, hidden blood loss was (625±98) mL, hidden blood loss accounts for 42.1% of the total blood loss. The total blood loss and hidden blood loss in hip osteoarthritis group were significantly higher than those in the femoral neck fracture group (P< 0.05). However, there was no significant difference on the hidden blood loss accounts for the proportion of the total blood loss between two groups (P=0.419 3). These results suggest that the total blood loss and hidden blood loss are different for the patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty in the premise of both pathogenesis. Therefore, before the total hip arthroplasty, we should fuly take into account the primary cause of patients and estimate the total blood loss and hidden blood loss, so as to take appropriate preventive measures in time to ensure the safety of the replacement process.

Background and purpose:Neuroendocrine neoplasm is one kind of infrequent neoplasms from neuroendocrine cell and peptidergic neurons. This study aimed to investigate the epidemiology and clinicopathological characteristics of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) in Dalian. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed all neuroendocrine neoplasms patients in First Afifliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from 2000 to 2013. The epidemiology characteristics, pathogenic sites and pathological types were reviewed, and the differences between gender and age were also analyzed. The statistics analysis such as independent-samples t test and one-way ANOVA and chi-square test were performed. Results:There were 279 NEN cases, including 166 male and 113 female patients (male:female=1.14:1), detection rate was 0.258%. The mean age of all cases was 59.4±17.1 (20-83), for male 58.9±19.4 (20-81) and female 61.7±15.0 (29-83). There was no statistical signiifcance of detection rate and mean age between male and female patients. Digestive system was the most common occurred site of NEN (71.68%), then was the respiratory system (20.79%). There was no statistical significance of pathogenic sites between male and female.In all case, 132 with neuroendocrine tumor (47.31%), 140 with neuroendocrine cancer (50.18%), 7 with mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (2.51%). There was no statistical signiifcance of pathological types between male and female (P>0.05).Conclusion:Recently, the detection rate of neuroendocrine neoplasms was raised in Dalian, but there was no signiifcance differences in detection rate,pathogenic sites and pathological types between male and female.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of osteonecrosis of the knee (ONK) in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods A retrospective chart review was conducted to identify patients of SLE with ONK.The clinical characteristics of these patients were analyzed.Results Between 2008 and 2013,eighty-one patients with SLE were analyzed in the 210th Hospital of People's Liberation Army.Eleven of these patients were diagnosed as ONK.All of these ONK patients were female.The age of onset ranged from 19-57 (36±13) years.The disease duration ranged from 4.5-31.0 (13±6) years.The local clinical symptom included knee swelling with pain in 5 cases,only pain with no swelling in 1 patient,no symptoms in 5 patients.All patients were with aseptic necrosis of the femoral head.For laboratory examination,7 patients had elevated triglyceride lipids in blood.Three of 7 patients accompanied with cholesterol level increased.Total cumulative dosage of oral corticosteroids was (66 824±27 328) mg.Conclusion ONK in patients of SLE is common and the majority of them have impaired renal function and elevated blood lipids,as well as long-term glucocortico-steroid therapy.

The chemical constituents of Vaccinium bracteatum were studied by means of macroporous resin, ODS column chromatography and preparative HPLC. Eleven compounds were isolated from this plant. By using ESI-MS and NMR, the structures of the eleven compounds were determined as 10-O-trans-p-coumaroyl-6alpha-hydroxyl-dihydromonotropein (1), 10-O-cis-p-coumaroyl -6alpha-hydroxyl-dihydromonotropein (2), vaccinoside (3), 10-O-cis-p-coumaroyl monotropein (4), isolariciresinol-9-O-beta-D-xyloside (5), tectoridin (6), vicenin-3 (7), quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnoside (8), quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside (9), quercetin-3-O-beta-D-galactopyranoside (10), and quercetin-3-O-beta-D-glucuronide (11), respectively. Compounds 1 and 2 are new, and compounds 4, 6 and 7 are isolated from the genus Vaccinium for the first time.

Objective:To evaluate the impact of health education intervention on promoting rural residents to join new rural cooperative medical system(NCMS)and their intention of joining NCMS based on Health Belief Model in project areas in Henan and Jilin Provinces.Methods:Quasi-experiment study was used to evaluate intervention impact.Following the evidence-based approach,according to needs assessment,a half-year health education intervention was implemented among farmers in the experimental counties in Henan and Jilin Provinces respectively.A questionnaire survey was conducted among farmers in intervention and control counties before and after intervention,and intervention impact was evaluated by comparing the indicators' changes in intervention and control counties.Results:After health education intervention,the knowledge level of farmers in two intervention counties increased by 29.0% and 37.8% respectively,their scores of perceived threatens of health risk and perceived barriers of joining NCMS among the respondents were decreased.Meanwhile,their score of perceived benefit of joining NCMS were increased,and the rate of willingness to join NCMS increased remarkably in both intervention counties.Conclusion:Health education was effective and helpful in increasing farmer's knowledge,understanding and cognitive level of NCMS,and it should play an important role for the sustainable development of NCMS.

Objective To explore the clinical features,diagnosis and treatment of serious pyogenic infection in deep neck. MethodsFrom January 2002 to April 2005,the clinical data of 22 patients hospitalized with serious pyogenic infection in deep neck were collected and retrospectively analysed. Results All the patients suffered unilaterally.Besides the symptoms of infection,dyspnea,pain in swallowing,limitation of mouth opening and progressive limitation of cervical activity were presented.Bacterial cultivation were performed in 14 patients and positive results were detected in six.Fourteen of all the 22 patients were cured with antibiotics,and abscess incision drainage was carried out in the other eight.Preoperative cervical PA-LAT X-ray photography and contrast-enhanced CT scanning were performed on one and seven patients,respectively,all of which indicated the formation of abscess.All the patients were cured except one who died of cerebral infarction and multiorgan dysfunction. Conclusion Imaging evaluation plays a significant role in the preoperative diagnosis and systemic treatment of serious pyogenic infection in deep neck.Bacterial cultivation provides reliable evidence for the etiopathogenisis and helps to make the effective treatment.

Objective To evaluate the application effect of pneumatic arm assisted single surgeon uniportal thoracoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 40 patients were admitted to our treatment group in Shanghai Pulmonary hospital in October who accepted pneumatic arm assisted single surgeon uniportal thoracoscopic surgery.All the clinic statistics of patients were collected including operative time,the volume of blood intra-operation,postoperative complications and hospitalization time.23 of 40 patients who accepted lobectomy/segmentectomy with pneumatic arm assisted single surgeon uniportal thoracoscopic surgery were assigned to the observation group,while another 30 concurrent patients who accepted lobectomy/segrnentectomy with conventional uniportal thoracoscopic surgery were assigned to the control group.Both groups were compared.Results The average postoperative hospitalization time of observation group was(4.6 ± 1.3) days.The average time for postoperative drainage tube retention was(46.7 ± 18.6) hours.The average operation time of patients in observation and control groups was(121.74 ± 25.16) min and (119.7 ± 14.26) min separately.The volume of blood intra-operation in observation group was(91.74 ± 32.88)ml and(89.00 ± 41.22) ml in control group.There is no significant difference between two groups(P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The field of view and adjustment of camera in uniportal thoracoscopic surgery by single surgeon with pneumatic arm assistance are more accurate and steady,in which human resource can be saved.It is safe and reliable and does not prolong operative time or increase bleeding during operation,and can be applied to different kinds of diseases in thoracic surgery.It is worth promotion and application in eligible hospitals and medical institutions.
