3.Study on Pathogenesis of Complex Syndrome of Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders in 72 cases

Objective:To probe distribution law and pathogenesis of TCM complex symptoms of functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome.Methods:Generally recognized criteria was to establish database of comprehensive analysis of the data gained by the four methods of diagnosis,and analyze with SPSS8.0.Results:Syndrome distribution was most closely related with spleen deficiency,accounting for 66.7%;and the next,with stagnation of liver-Qi,accounting for 40.3%;the last,with the kidney,only accounting for 5.6%.Conclusion:Cause of disease and inducing factors of this disease are closely correlated with pathogenic cold, diet of lipids,mental depression,prolonged disease,wound due to abdominal operation.The disease is located at the stomach, intestine with most coexistence of deficiency and excess,and spleen deficiency is the key of pathogenesis.
4.RAPID DETERMINATION OF GLUTAMATE DECARBOXYLASE ACTIVITY FROM LACTIC ACID BACTERIA BY SPECTROMETRIC METHOD AND ITS APPLICATIONS

In this paper, a colorimetric method with high sensitivity, reproducibility and low cost for determining glutamate decarboxylase (GAD) activity was developed based on Berthelot reaction. The optimum substrate system is 0.2 mol/L MacIlvaine buffer pH4.7, containing 0.1 mmol/L pyridoxal phosphate (PLP) and 10 mmol/L L-monosodium glutamate (L-MSG). The reaction mixture consisted of 200 ?L substrate solution and 1~100 ?L enzyme preparation from lactic acid bacteria and was incubated at 30℃. The enzymatic reaction was terminated by immersion in ice-water and addition of 200 ?L 0.2 mol/L sodium borate buffer, pH9.0, then 1 mL 6% phenol solution and 400 ?L sodium hypochloride were added. Color development was carried out in boiling water for 10 min then immediately put in ice-water bath for 20 min. The optical density is read at 630 nm. ?-aminobutyric acid (GABA) produced was calculated using the standard curve. Applications of the method in GAD studies were discussed.
5.Clinical analysis on gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases: 24 cases report

Objective To analyze the clinical characters,treatment effects and influential factors of gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases,and to explore the reasonable clinical treatment protocols.Methods The clinical data of 24 gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases who were admitted to Peoples Liberation Army Hospital from April 2007 to April 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The 1-,2-,3-and 4-year cumulative survival rates of hepatic metastases patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors were 91%,72 %,22 % and 6 %,respectively.The 1-,2-and 3-year survival rates of the patients treated with imatinib after operation were 91%,70 %,28 %,respectively,the median survival time was 26 months,the mortality rate was 27.3 % (3/11),and 9 cases got the tumor complete elimination.The 1-,2-and 3-year survival rates of the patients treated without imatinib after operation were 90 %,68 %,18 %,respectively,the median survival time was 24 months,the mortality rate was 14.3 % (2/13),and 12 cases got the tumor complete elimination.The recurrence rate after complete resection was 28.6 %(4/14),and the mortality rate was 7.1% (1/14).The mortality rate after incomplete resection was 40 % (4/10).Conclusion Surgical treatment of eliminating the primary and metastatic lesion,and adjuvant therapy of imtinib could prolong the survival time,reduce postoperative recurrence rate and improve the quality of life,which are the effective methods for the treatment of the gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients with hepatic metastases.
6.Research on Etherification Reaction of Three Kinds of Isoflavones from Chickpeas

This study was aimed to improve the drug activity of three kinds of isoflavones from Chickpeas.Biochanin A,formononetin and genistein were used as raw materials.Acetone was used as solvent.Potassium carbonate was used as catalyst.The etherification reaction was with 1,3-dibromopropane,1-bromopropane and 3-bromopropene.The results showed that 9 isoflavone ramifications were synthesized.This method was simple,easy to control with high yield.It was concluded that the product structure was confirmed by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and ESI-MS analysis.It laid a foundation for the structural study basis in the further research of its drug activity.
