Purpose To investigate the value of dual-source CT with dual-energy virtual non-contrast imaging in the diagnosis of cervical lymph node disease. Materials and Methods The dual-energy scan data of 126 lymph nodes from 50 patients confirmed pathologically were reviewed. The difference of average CT value, signal to noise ratio, contrast to noise ratio, image subjective assessment and lesion detectability between virtual non-contrast imaging and conventional non-contrast scan were analyzed. The radiation dose of virtual non-contrast imaging and real non-contrast imaging of cervical lymph node were also compared. Results ①The consistency of virtual plain scan combined with dual-energy contrast imaging in the diagnosis of six typical pathological types were all satisfactory (Kappa>0.7, P<0.01), and the detection rate of non-specific lymphadenitis, lymphomas and lymph node metastasis of thyroid carcinoma was higher among the six types (93.1%, 86.7% and 100.0%, respectively, Kappa=0.983, 0.893; P<0.01), and had the highest detection rate of lymph node metastasis of thyroid carcinoma (100.0%, Kappa=1.000, P<0.01). ②There was no significant difference among the average CT, signal to noise ratio and contrast to noise ratio of conventional scan and virtual non-contrast imaging during arterial phase and venous phase (H=3.125, 4.374, 4.037;P>0.05).③ Compared with conventional enhanced scan, dual-energy phases reduced radiation dose by about 19%. Conclusion Dual-energy virtual non-contrast imaging combined with contrast imaging can provide clear images in the diagnosis of enlarged cervical lymph nodes and reduce radiation dose of subjects, thus can be expected to replace real scan.

In the study of drug solution dispersion method, the uniformity of drug dispersed as the evaluation index, the traditional mixing method, grinding, homogenate and solute phase transfer technology were investigated, and the solute phase transfer technology was adopted in the last. With the adoption of new technology, the drug loading capacity reached 1.33% (phospholipid complex was 4%). The drug loading capacity was improved significantly. The transfer of solute method and timing were studied as follows, join the oil phase when the volume of phospholipid complex anhydrous ethanol solution remaining 30%, the solute phase transfer was completed with the continued recycling of anhydrous ethanol. After drug dissolved away to oil phase, the preparation technology of colostrum was determined with the evaluation index of emulsion droplet form. The particle size of submicron emulsion, PDI and stability parameters were used as evaluation index, orthogonal methodology were adopted to optimize the submicron emulsion ingredient and main influential factors of high pressure homogenization technology. The optimized preparation technology of Scutellariae Radix extract nasal submicron emulsion is practical and stable.

Objective To employ Borrelia burgdorferi( B. burgdorferi) , a culturable and genetical-ly transformable spirochete, as a surrogate system to study Treponema pallidum ( T. pallidum) gene function. Methods Bioinformatic analysis revealed that the T. pallidum gene tp0111 encodes the putative sigma factor RpoN. We constructed a B. burgdorferi shuttle vector harboring tp0111. The shuttle vector was then trans-formed into the B. burgdorferi rpoN mutant strain. The phenotype of the resulting B. burgdorferi strain was then determined. Results We successfully constructed the B. burgdorferi rpoN mutant carrying the T. palli-dum gene tp0111. We found that tp0111 could partially complement the B. burgdorferi rpoN mutant. Con-clusion This work provides the first experimental evidence showing that tp0111 is the rpoN gene of T. palli-dum. It also demonstrates that B. burgdorferi can be used as a surrogate system for studying T. pallidum gene function.

International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1132-1134
? AIM: To investigate the differences between synoptophore and triple prism strabismometry and its possible cause.?METHODS: There were 347 patients with horizontal concomitant strabismus involved, in which 76 patients were esotropia, 37 patients were male while 39 were female, with average age of 13. 27 ± 7. 77 years old. There were 271 patients with exotropia, 131 cases were male while 140 were female, with average age of 15. 43 ± 8. 42 years old. All the patients were examined by synoptophore and prism plus shaded strabismometry in a long distance of 6m. Datas were analyzed by SPSS 17. 0.?RESULTS:In the exotropia patients, the conversions of circular degree(°) and prism degree(△) were:1°=0. 29△ ~1. 78△, which was statistically significant with intermittent strabismus (P=0. 001). While in the esotropia patients, the conversions were:1°=2. 01△ ~2. 15△.?CONCLUSION: The diversity between the two methods is enlarged with the increase of squint angle for exotropia patients. While in esotropia patients, the diversity decreased with the increase of squint angle. Synoptophore equipped with +7. 00D, defects of the triple prism itself and proximal convergence during exam may be the reasons for the diversity.
