Objective To explore the relation between thyroid nodular and thyroid calcification .Methods The clinical data of 430 cases with nodular goiter admitted from January 2011 to December 2013 were reviewed.All cases were performed ultrasonography and pathologic examination .Results Of 430 cases,there was thyroid carcinoma in 49 cases(11.4%),including microcalcification in 30 cases(61.2%) and macrocalcification in 3 cases(6.1%);benign lesion in 381 cases(88.6%),including microcalcification in 24 cases(6.3%) and macrocalcification in 39 cases(10.2%).The difference was remarkable (P=0.000).There was remarkable difference in malignant calci-fied nodules ratio between the patients with microcalcification and macrocalcification (55.6%vs 7.1%,P=0.000), between the patients aged 45 years below and above(48.8%vs 22.6%,P=0.007),between the patients with solita-ry and multiple nodules(45.0%vs 16.7%,P=0.005).But there was no statistic difference in malignant calcified nodules ratio between the male and female groups (24.2% vs.39.7%,P=0.130).Conclusion Microcalcification is a highly specific sign to predict thyroid carcinoma in ultrasonography exam .Positive intervention will be performed immediately when calcification appears in thyroid nodules .

Objective To evaluate the clinical result of modified anterior decompression for the treatment of cervical myelopathy due to ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament(OPLL). Methods From April 1994 to October 2002, 42 cases of OPLL involving 134 cervical segments were operated using modified anterior decompression, among them there were 35 cases, 122 segments of the continuous type; 4 cases, 9 segments of the mixed type; 3 cases, 3 segments of the solitary type. The preoperative index of thickness (O-Index) ranged from 12.4%-78.8%, with an average of 43.2%. A slot was made in the vertebral body through anterior approach and bilateral border of the ossification was dissected from the posterior wall of vertebral body with burr-drill. Results The average follow-up was 3 years and 8 months ranging from 1 year and 6 months to 8 years. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of salesclerk factors on the consumers'purchasing behavior in drugstores in Beijing citizens,and provide reference for better satisfaction of consumers'requirements. METHODS:Clustering random sampling method was launched among the drugstore consumers in 16 districts of Beijing,the results were statistically analyzed,and then the suggestions were provided. RESULTS:Totally 180 valid questionnaires were collected from the 208 questionnaires with effective re-covery rate of 86.5%. 70.6% consumers preferred the salesclerk to ask actively when they entered a drugstore;moderate depen-dence on the salesclerk was found mainly in the aspect ofmedicine selection,medication methods guidingandhelping disease judgment;moderate trust to the salesclerk was found,andthe poor professional knowledge,poor service attitudeandpoor professional ethicswere the main reasons for the distrust;the professional moralandknowledgeof salesclerks were the most-ly expected qualities;the licensed pharmacist in the drugstore was not recognized by 66.1% consumers. CONCLUSIONS:Drug-store should understand the consumer's expectations and requirements to its salesclerk and improve accordingly in the respect of strengthening the train of professional quality,enhancing the ability of pharmaceutical care,increasing the propaganda of licensed pharmacist,conducting medication consultation actively,exploring the diversity of consumer's requirements,and meeting the con-sumer's requirements more extensively.

Objective To investigate the effect of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) on seizure frequency in epilepsy patients complicated with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Methods Subjects were divided into CPAP group (20 subjects) and medication group (22 subjects) according to whether they can tolerate CPAP. CPAP group were treated with CPAP combined with antiepileptic drugs. Medication group were treated with antiepileptic drugs alone. Seizure frequency and apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) were compared between groups before and after 4 weeks and 24 weeks of treatment. Results Baseline seizure frequency and apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) were compared between groups(P>0.05). A sig?nificant reduction of seizure frequency was observed in CPAP group after 4 weeks and 24 weeks of treatment compared to that before treatment (P<0.01). In medication group, no significant difference in seizure frequency was noted betweem 4 weeks and 24 weeks after treatment compared to that before treatment(P>0.05). A significant reduction of AHI was ob?served in the CPAP group after 24 weeks of treatment compared to that before treatment (P<0.01), but no change of AHI by treatment was observed in medication group (P>0.05). Conclusion Treatment of OSA in patients complicated with epilep?sy may improve seizure control in short and long term, but longer observation time and more samples are needed for further research.

According to relevant national laws and regulations, practitioner training was included into laboratory animal science teaching reform.By adjusting the training content and teaching method and use of animal models of typical human diseases, the transformation of training mode was realized and improved.By the assessment of basic theory in combination with practical operation, the thinking ability and hands-on skill of the practitioners are much improved. Through classroom instruction, experimental teaching, quality assessment and tracking survey, the evaluating process of the training quality of training teaching is performed.Therefore, the teaching reform of the laboratory animal science based on the training of practitioners is established.

Abstract: Objective　To analyze the impact of the flood disaster on the distribution of Oncomelania snails in 2020 in Wuhu City, to provide scientific basis for formulating the "14th Five-Year Plan" for schistosomiasis control and precise prevention and control measures in Wuhu City. Methods　Systematic sampling combined with environmental spot check was used to investigate the distribution of snails in the historical snail's environment, existing snail's environment and suspected snail's environment in Wuhu City. The collected snails were crushed and examined by microscope to understand the death and life of snails and the infection of Schistosoma japonicum, and the density of live snails and other indicators were counted. Results　The historical area of snails was 14 475.24 hm2 in Wuhu City, and the existing area of snails was 4 588.72 hm2, including 4 210.32 hm2 for lake type and 378.40 hm2 for hill type snails. The average occurrence rate of live snails was 14.59%, and the average density of live snails was 0.50 snails/0.1 m2 in Wuhu City. There were 2 745 snail breeding environments, of which 491 were lake type and 2 254 are hill type, accounting for 17.89% and 82.11% respectively. The existing snail area was mainly distributed in the beaches and ditches, accounting for 92.51% and 6.29% of the existing snail area respectively. Some snails were distributed in ponds, paddy fields and other environments. Among all the historical snail habitats, the majority were class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ environments (which still have the basic conditions for snail breeding at present), with a total of 1 739 sites (blocks), accounting for 63.35% of the total environment. No schistosomiasis infected snails have been found, and the newly discovered and recovered snails cover an area of 268.21 hm2 in Wuhu City. Conclusions　The distribution of snails is extensive in Wuhu City, and snails are mostly distributed in beaches, which are vulnerable to the impact of flood disasters. The spread of Oncomelania snails is found in 30 marshlands in 3 counties in this survey. It is necessary to continue to strengthen snail monitoring after disasters, and take class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ environments as key areas for snail monitoring, so as to find, identify and evaluate the risk of schistosomiasis transmission as soon as possible, to avoid or reduce the impact of flood disasters on the process of schistosomiasis control, and promote the process of schistosomiasis elimination.

Objective To investigate the related risk factors of bone cement leakage after percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) and percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture.Methods A retrospective study was made on 108 patients (114 vertebrae) undergone PVP and PKP between January 2008 and June 2014.There were 32 patients with cement leakage and 76 patients without cement leakage.Between-group differences were analyzed in terms of gender,age,number of one-time treated vertebrae,anatomic dissection,surgical procedures (PKP or PVP),integrity of the posterior vertebral wall,puncture approaches (unilateral or bilateral),technical level of surgeons and bone cement volume.Results Bone cement leakage occurred in 36 vertebrae (with the proportion of 31.6％).Cement leakage was associated with number of one-time treated vertebrae,surgical procedures,fractured condition,and bone cement volume (P ＜ 0.05),but not with gender,age,anatomical site of injury,puncture approaches,and technical level of surgeons (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Bone cement leakage after PKP or PVP correlated with number of vertebrae with one-time therapy,surgical procedures,fractured condition,and volume of bone cement.A good master of technical procedures and indications and suitable injection of high viscosity bone cement can help reduce the incidence of cement leakage.
