Asian Nursing Research 2020;14(4):206-211
Purpose:
To investigate the relationship between rumination, coping strategies, and subjective well-being (SWB) and test the mediating effects of coping strategies on rumination and SWB in patients with breast cancer (BC).
Methods:
This cross-sectional study assessed rumination, coping strategies, and SWB using the General Well-being Schedule, the Chinese Event-Related Rumination Inventory, and the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire in BC patients admitted to a tertiary general hospital in China.
Results:
SWB was positively associated with the total score for rumination (r = .32, p < .01), deliberate rumination (r = .75, p < .01), and confrontation (r = .58, p < .01). The relationship between rumination and SWB was mediated by confrontation (indirect effect = .74).
Conclusion
BC diagnosis can affect patient's SWB. These findings indicate that rumination and confrontation have direct and indirect effects on SWB. Therefore, psychological interventions focused on improving coping may increase SWB. Notwithstanding, larger longitudinal studies are needed to further examine the relationship between cognitive processes, coping strategies, and SWB.

Objective To estimate the security and effectiveness of double access technique to treat chronic total occlusion in lower extremity artery. Method Fifty four patients, who had lower limb arteriosclerosis and accepted failed endovascular treatment because of unable to reenter true lumen through antegrade access, were treated immediately in double access style to recanalize occluded artery (including 27 patients of dorsalis pedis artery puncture,17 patients of posterior tibial artery punctrue,5 patients of proximal anterior tibial artery puncture and 5 patients of distal superficial femoral artery puncture). Evaluate the revascularization rate, complication rate and 6-month limb salvage rate of double access technique,t test was used to compare the ABI.Results Revascularization rate was 98.2% (53/54),average puncture frequency of every case was 6 ( the first access was 2 in every patient, the second access was 4 in every patient ),average treatment time was 167 minutes, complication rate was 5.6% (3/54),2 patients were occlusion in puncture segment of the second access,1 patient was hematoma in the second access point. 6-month ABI after intervention increased from 0.44 ±0.13 to 0.69 ±0.15,6-month limb salvage rate was 100%. Conclusion For chronic total occlusion, double access is a feasible technique to deal with unable to reenter true lumen throughantegrade access, the complication rate is low,the primary limb salvage rate is relatively high.

The paper reports the systematic study on felodipine and its impurities in tablets, to improve its quality standards for the control of the related substances. HPLC-DAD, UPLC-MS, IR and NMR methods were used for the isolation of felodipine and its impurities in tablets, their identification and the zebrafish animal model was used for the analysis of the toxic impurities. In felodipine material and its tablets, three impurities are isolated and identified. They are impurity 1 [dimethyl 4-(2, 3-dichlorophenyl)-2, 6-dimethyl-1, 4-dihydropyridine-3, 5-dicarboxylate], impurity 2 [ethyl methyl 4-(2, 3-dichlorophenyl)-2, 6-dimethylpyridine-3, 5-dicarboxylate] and impurity 3 [diethyl 4-(2, 3-dichlorophenyl)-2, 6-dimethyl-1, 4-dihydropyridine-3, 5-dicarboxylate], separately. The result of zebrafish animal model analysis showed that the teratogenic effects of four compounds were: impurity 3 > or = felodipine > impurity 1 > impurity 2, lethal effects were as follows: impurity 2 = impurity 3 > felodipine > or = impurity 1. This study confirmed the toxicity of three impurities in felodipine. According to the results, the paper suggested the amendments to the standard of the medicine and provided the support to the control of impurities in the manufacturing process.
