1.Study on decomposed recipes of traditional Chinese medicine
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2003;1(3):173-6
OBJECTIVE: To introduce and analyze the present status of research on decomposed recipes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). METHODS: The relevant literature on the study of the decomposed recipes of TCM in the past five years was collected and analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Studies on the decomposed recipes of TCM have been made from the whole body level to the organ, cell and molecular research level. The pharmacological research in vitro is the main way and quantitative changes of the chemical ingredients have been measured before and after composition. It is very important to combine the modern science and technology in exploring the composing mechanisms of TCM remedies.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(08):-
Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of plasma metformin hydrochloride and an HPLC/ESI-MS method for the determination of plasma glibenclamide in human. Methods The metformin plasma samples were added with acetonitrile to denature proteins and the supernatant was injected into the system directly by using EC 250/4.6 NUCLEOSIL 100-5 analytical column (4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m) with a mobile phase of 0.03 mol/L (NH 4) H 2PO 4∶acetonitrile (75∶25, pH 7.0) at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min and the detection wavelength of 240 nm. Using glipizide as a internal standard, the glibenclamide plasma samples were extracted with ethyl acetate and determined by LC-MS using a chromatographic column ORBAX SB300C 18 (2.1 mm?150 mm, 5 ?m) with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% ammonium acetate (55∶45, V/V) at the flow of 0.2 ml/min. Results The glibenclamide concentration had a good linear correlation in the range of 2-200 ng/ml (r=0.999 8) while the metformin concentration in the range of 6.25-4 000 ng/ml (r= 0.999 9 ). Both the inter-day and intra-day RSD of metformin and glibenclamide were lower than 5%. Conclusion The assays have been proved to be sensitive, accurate and convenient and can be used in the study of human pharmacokinetics of glibenclamide and metformin hydrochloride.

Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2010;30(3):355-357
Objective To realize the optimization of image quality and radiation dose by correcting mammography automatic exposure, according to automatic exposure controlled mode of mammography film-screen system . Methods The film-screen system(28 kV) was applied to perform automatic exposure of plexiglass(40 mm) and get the standard dose of exposure, the exposure mode of CR base on LgM =2.0 was rectified, which was divided into 10 steps. Mammary glands pattern(Fluke NA18-220) were examined with CR( 26,28, and 30 kV ) by the automatic exposure mode corrected. The exposure values(mAs) were recorded. CR image was diagnosed and evaluated in double blind way by 4 radiologists according to American Collage of Radiology(ACR) standard. Results Based on the standard of CR automatic exposure with the dose higher than the traditional exposure of film-screen system, the calibration of mammography automatic exposure was accomplished. The test results of the calibrated mode was better than the scoring system of ACR. Conclusions Comparative study showed improvement in acquiring high-quality image and reduction of radiation dose. The corrected mammography automatic exposure mode might be a better method for clinical use.

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2017;11(1):52-55
Objective To explore the association between the infection rate of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and intake frequency of capsicum in dietary pattern. Methods A total of 914 health check-up participants were recruited from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital (male: 510,female:404). All participants were asked about the intake frequency of capsicum. Diagnostic criteria of the Hp infection included positive C13 breath test. Results The intake frequency of capsicum was ≥2 times/week, 1 time/week and <1 time/week. The infection rate of Hp was 56.08%, 49.04% and 48.29%. After adjusting for covariates, compared with the≥2 times/week, the odds ratios(95%confidence interval)of intake frequency of capsicum 1 time/week and <1 time/week: the frequency of capsicum intake ≥2 times/week was 1.00 (reference), the frequency of capsicum intake 1 time/week was 0.57(0.33-0.97) and the frequency of capsicum intake<1 time/week was 0.69(0.42-1.14) in men;the frequency of capsicum intake≥2 times/week was 1.00 (reference), the frequency of capsicum intake 1 time/week was 1.01(0.54-1.88), and the frequency of capsicum intake<1 time/week was 0.71(0.41-1.23) in women. Conclusions This study found that food intake frequency of capsicum≥2 times/week was associated with the infection rate of Hp in men. But similar relationship was not observed in women.

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness for vital pulpotomy in primary teeth with 4 kinds of pulp capping agents. Methods:CHI,CH,GA and FC were chosen as the pulp capping agents for vital pulpotomy in primary teeth and 3 year follow up observation was performed. The teeth in other side served as the controls. The root absorption was observed radiologically. Results:In the group of CHI,CH,GA and FC the clinical effective rate were 100%,87.5%,91.4% and 78.1%,the radiographical success rate were 97%,60%,74.3%and 56.2%,respectively.In the cases treated with CHI showed the highest success rate and significant difference was found among the four groups (P
10.Thyroid Hormone Disrupting Activities of Tetrabromobisphenol-A:a Review

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Tetrabromobisphenol A(TBBPA)is supposed to have potential thyroid disrupting activities due to its similar structure to thyroid hormones.TBBPA has been proved to show thyroid disrupting effects in vivo and in vitro studies.TBBPA might disrupt thyroid hormone system through transthyretin- and thyroid receptor-mediated pathways. The ability of TBBPA inducing the production of reactive oxygen species might be the extension of its thyroid disrupting activities. The thyroid disrupting effects of TBBPA might be closely related to its oxidative stress, reproduction toxicity and neurotoxicity.More experiments are required for the effects of TBBPA on the aquatic and amphibian animals.
