Objective:To improve students' knowledge and skills of AIDS prevention, analyze the effect of interactive peer education, and explore effective ways to carry out peer education. Methods:From September 2015 to May 2016,the freshmen in one college of Xi'an were investigated of AIDS knowledge, attitude and behavior using questionnaire as baseline data.Seven hundred peers of them received education with the methods of brainstorming, group discussion and questions, and case analysis. Then a questionnaire survey was conducted again to evaluate the effect of peer education. Results:After the intervention peer education, the scores of basic AIDS knowledge, prevention knowledge, relevant attitude and the rate of positive behavioral selection were significantly increased (P <0.05).Approximately 92.50% of the students thought that having sex with only one partner can reduce the spread of AIDS and 81.76% of the students were willing to help AIDS patients. Conclusions:Interactive peer education for college students has a good applicability, the effect is remarkable, and it is worth popularizing in colleges.

Objective To study the characteristics of the serum free light chain ( sFLC ) and cytokines levels and the effects of cyclophosphamide (CTX) on patients with primary Sj(0)gren's syndrome (pSS) complicated with amyloidosis. Methods Nine patients of pSS with amyloidosis who were admitted to Department of Rheumatology of the hospital from Jan 2005 to Mar 2011 were selected. The serum levels of sFLC and cytokines TNF-α,TGF-β1,IL-4 were measured before and 3,6,12 months after the treatment respectively.Meanwhile,Twelve patients with pSS without complications were selected as controls.Repeated measures analysis of variance was used for data analysis. Results The sFLC in serum of pSS patients with amyloidosis was λ type, the κ type was not found. The level of serum sFLC after 12 months treatment [(22±42) mg/L]was significantly lower than before treatment [(180±15) mg/L].The levels of TNF-α,TGF-β1,IL-4 after 12months treatment [(24.0±1A),(58±5),(38.8±3.2) ng/L,respectively] were significantly lower than before treatment [(31.1±L0),(65±5),(61.2±3.8) ng/L,respectively].Conclusion The levels of serum sFLC and eytokines are abnormally increased in patients of pSS with amyloidosis. After treatment, the levels of cytokines are decreased initially which indicates that these cytokines may play a key role in the pathogenesis of pSS.CTX therapy may lead to better efficacy and more favorable prognosis.

Objective To discuss the nursing intervention of Rey syndrome in children patients.so as to search effective nursing measures. Methods 12 children patients with Rey syndrome received comprehensive nursing treatment with reducing intracranial pressure and were under continuous close observation.Slightest changes were feeded back timely, then effective nursing measures were taken to stabilize their illness, patients also received dietary therapy, medication nursing and rehabilitation training, etc. Results All patients ameliorated after 3 to 7 days, and achieved clinical recovery after 20 to 30 days without sequelae. Conclusions Early diagnosis and correct effective nursing care can improve curative rate and avoid the occurrence of complications and sequelae.

Objective To observe the effect and safety of low dose milrinone used in patients suffering from refractory heart failure and renal dysfunction. Methods Forty-two patients with refractory heart failure and renal dysfunction were divided into treatment group(21 cases ) and control group(21 cases )by random digits table. All the patients accepted a therapy of cardiac booster, diuretics and vasodilators, and treatment group also accepted the therapy of milrinone [0.375 μ g/( kg· min), 10 mg/d, for 7 days]. And then the symptom, signs, blood pressure, heart rate, heart function and renal function before and after the treatment were observed. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 85.7%( 18/21 ) ,significantly higher than that in control group [57.1% (12/21)] (P <0.05=. After treatment, the heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, stroke volume, cardiac output and left ventricular ejection fraction in treatment group and control group improved significantly than those before treatment, and these index improved better in treatment group [(79.3 ± 12.4) beats/min vs. (85.4 ± 10.2) beats/min, ( 107.6 ± 15.4)mm Hg ( 1 mm Hg = 0.133 kPa) vs.( 119.1 ± 13.5 ) mm Hg, (60.8 ± 9.4) mm Hg vs. (65.8 ± 8.5 ) mm Hg,(66.3 ± 10.2 ) ml vs. (61.2 ± 9.3 ) ml, (5.3 ± 0.6 ) L/min vs. (4.8 ± 0.9) L/min, (56.6 ± 8.4 )% vs. (48.9 ±7.3)% ,P < 0.05=. In two groups, there were no statistical difference in renal function. Conclusions Low dose of milrinone can improve the heart function of the patients with refractory heart failure and renal dysfunction and has good renal safety.

Objective To study the expression of human kallikrein gene(KLK) 4 and KLK5 in ovarian cancers, and to investigate the pathogenesis in malignant tumors. Methods Fifty specimens of ovarian cancers were divided into three groups: malignant tumor group(n=23),borderline tumor group(n=6) and control group(normal or benign tumor,n=21).Fluorescent quantitative RT-PCR was employed to determine the expression of KLK4 and KLK5 in these specimens. Results The expression of KLK4 in ovarian cancers was significantly higher than that of the control group(P

National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(1):67-71
Sperm ultrastructural abnormalities are often associated with sperm motility, the integrity of genetic material, and the fertilization potential. The investigation of sperm ultrastructural abnormalities is based on the evolution of microscopy techniques. In his paper, we review the improvement of the microscopy techniques and the ultrastructure of several specific morphological defects and he apoptotic spermatogenic cells in order to expound the significance of sperm ultrastructural observation in clinical practice. We deem it necessary to analyze the sperm ultrastructure before exploring the pathology and adopting assisted reproductive technology for some special patients with teratozoospermia.
