Objective To study the changes of plasma renin activity(PRA) and angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ) concentration in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI) as well as their clinical significance. Methods Radioimmunoassay was used to detect PRA and Ang Ⅱ concentration in 55 patients with ACI in the acute, convalescent phrase, and carried out correlative analysis with focal size and the degree of neurological deficit. Results (1) PRA and Ang Ⅱ in 3d of the acute phase of ACI were significantly higher than those in the controls ( P 3.0 cm 2) and the focus of middle infarct group(1.5 to 3.0 cm 2),but PRA and Ang Ⅱ in both groups were significantly higher than those in lacunar infarction group(

0.999). The characteristic masses and detection limits achieved were as follows,as for As,21 pg and 0.13 ?g/L,as for Se,32 pg and 0.33 ?g/L. The recoveries were 96.0%-103.6% for As,98.3%-104.7% for Se and the RSDs were 0.6%-1.7% for As,0.6%-2.8% for Se. Conclusion This method was accurate, simple and sensitive,it is applicable to the determination of trace As and Se in water.

Objective To compare the characteristics of remifentanil and sufentanil for tracheal intubation general anesthesia in gyneco-logical laparoscopic operation. Methods 80 patients received gynecological laparoscopic operation were randomly divided into the remifen-tanil group and the sufentanil group with 40 patients in each group, and they were performed total intravenous anesthesia with remifentanil or sufentanil respectively. Compare the changes of heart rate, mean arterial pressure in the two groups before and after induction, at the time of intubation, pneumoperitoneum, and after the operation. And differences in two groups were recorded in the recovery time, extubation time, postoperative pain in 24 hours, exhaust time and postoperative complications. Results Change trend and magnitude in heart rate, mean ar-terial pressure had no significant difference in the two groups (P>0. 05). The recovery time, extubation time in remifentanil group was shor-ter (P<0. 01), postoperative pain in 24 hours in sufentanil group was more mild (P<0. 01). Exhaust time and postoperative complications of the two groups had no significant difference (P>0. 05). Conclusion Remifentanil and sufentanil used in gynecological laparoscopic op-eration can achieve good effect. and effects of the two drugs on hemodynamics were similar. Remifentanil can recieve better effect in terms of recovery time, while sufentanil has better postoperative analgesia effect.

Objective:To investigate the antitumor effect of Actinidia Chinensis Planch polysaccharide(ACPS)in B16-bearing C57BL/6 mice and approach its mechanism. Methods:The C57BL/6 mice model was established by B16 subcutaneous inoculation, giving the polysaccharides from vena caudalis injection, and flow cytometer(FCM)was used to detect the distribution of tumor-cell cycle, and electron microscope was used to survey morphologic transformation about apoptosis. Results:ACPS can inhibit the growth of B16,the high, middle dose groups obviously restrained the tumor with the rate of 48.67%,40.90%and the control group 24.13%,and classical apoptosis corpuscles had been found through electron microscope in ACPS groups.Compared with control group, the ACPS promoted the spleen-index of B16-bearing mice and cut down the proliferation index, and the G1/S phase was at growth-inhibitory concentrations judged by the distributing analysis on cell-cycle.Conclusion:ACPS had obvious effect of restraining B16 and promoting the spleen index of tumor-bearing mice, which maybe due to its function of regulating immunization and the distributing of cell-cycle.

Objective To analysis the CT features and differential points of adrenal myelolipoma. Methods The CT and clinical information of 9 adrenal myelolipomas were collected. Results CT diagnosed 8 cases of adrenal myelolipoma except 1 case misdiagnosing as adenoma. All mass measuring 2.8~10.5 cm in diameter with clear edge, low attenuation value of fat and irregular linear shadow of soft tissure might be seen in mass. Conclusion CT is the best examination of diagnosing, which could show the position, component of the mass and organs around it.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To analysis diagnostic CT findings of adrenocortical carcinoma. Methods To collect 13 adrenocortical carcinomas verified by operation and pathology from 1990 to 1999.Results 8 cases were functional tumor and 5 were non-function mass. The diameter of 10 cases was more than 5 centimeters. The density of carcinoma was not equality and necrosis was often be found. The edge of 6 cases were clear and 7 were not clear,3 cases had local invade and metastasis. Conclusion CT can diagnose most of functional adrenocortical carcinoma with clinic syndrome but can not differentiate non-function adrenocortical carcinoma from pheochromocytoma.

Objective To analysis the CT features in 7cases of rare adrenal interstitial tissue tumors. Methods 7 cases of rare adrenal interstitial tissue tumors were verified with operation and histology.2 cases were cyst and 2 were lipoma, neurofibroma, neurilemoma and mesenchymoma was 1 case, respctively. Results Adrenal cyst and lipoma appered the density of water and fat.neurofibroma and neuriemoma were slightly low density mass, without enhancement. There were cystic lesion in neurilemoma.Mesenchymoma had slight or moderate enhancement. Conclusion It is difficult or impossible to distinguish nuerofibroma, neurilemoma or mesenchymoma from non-function adenoma or pheochromocytoma except adrenal cyst and lipoma.

Objective: To investigate the effect of urinastatin on the expression levels of NF-?B and TNF-? liver transplantation in patients. Methods: Thirty-six patients of late stage hepatic cirrhosis were randomly divided into two eaquel groups: the experiment group was administrated by urinastatin 300 000 U and saline 10 mL via venous injection during liver transplantation, the control group was administrated 10 mL saline by venous injection at the same time. The blood samples were harvestd at 1, 2, 4 and 6 h after the blood recovery of donated liver. The nuclear factor-?B (NF-?B) P65 relative level of blood was detected by Western blot analysis and the TNF-? level of blood was detected by double antibody Sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Serum ALT and AST were also measured. Results: The expression level of serum NF-?B p65, TNF-? in the experiment group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was significant(P

Objective To investigate the changes of the neuron-specific enolase(NSE) and soluble intercellar adhesion molecule-1(CAM-1) in serum and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) in the patients with viral encephhalites (VE). Methods The levels of NSE and sICAM-1 in serum and CSF were determined before and after treatment using ELISA in 58 patients with VE and 20 normal persons. Results The levels of NSE and sICAM-1 in serum before treatment were obviously higher than those of control group, and their differences were significant (P0.05). Conclusions NSE and sICAM-1 may contribute to pathologic course in infection of VE and the levels of NSE and sICAM-1 in serum and CSF may serve as markers of differential diagnosis and clinical significance.
