Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(5):534-538
Kallikrein-kinin system consists of kininogen , kallikrein, bradykinin and kinin .Kinins, derived from kininogen by tissue kallikrein , play their biological effects via bradykinin 1/2 receptors or protease activated receptors .Existing researches suggest that kinins exert various effects through different intracellular and mitochondrial signal pathways such as MAPK , PI3K/Akt/GSK3 be-ta, NO, JAKs/STATs.This review aims to elucidate the roles and the intracellular signal pathways of KKS in different diseases .
4.Inhibitor of apoptosis proteins XIAP, survivin and leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(2):117-119
Leukemia is a malignant hyperplasia disease of hematopoietic system. It is characterized that a certain blood cell system proliferates, gets into blood streaming, infiltrates each organism and apparatus and arouse a series of clinical manifestation. In recent years the study of leukemia has discovered that it was correlated with apoptosis of the cells. The roles of XIAP and survivin in apoptosis inhibition have been especially paid attention. It is discovered that they play major roles in the genesis and resistance to chemotherapeutical drug of tumors. We summarize the biological characteristics and the expressions of XIAP and survivin in the children with acute leukemia.

6.The effect of Chinese herbal compound Yitangkang extract on expression of renal AGEs and RAGEs in rats with diabetic nephropathy
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(2):45-47
Objective To observe the effect of Chinese herbal compound Yitangkang on the expressions of advanced glyclation end-products (AGEs) and the receptor of advanced glyclation end-products mRNA(RAGE-mRNA) in rats with diabetic nephropathy(DN),and to discuss the mechanism of the formulas in the treatment of DN. Methods The rat model of DN were established by intraperitoneal injection of strepotozotocin(STZ). After 8 weeks intervention with medications, the expression of renal RAGEs mRNA was detected by Real-time PCR, renal RAGE by immunohistochemistry, and renal content of AGEs by spectrophotometry. Results Compared with normal control group, the expression of renal RAGEs mRNA and RAGEs in diabetic nephropathy rats were increased significantly(P<0.01). Compared with DN group, the expression of renal RAGEs mRNA and RAGEs in three doses Yitangkang groups and western medicine group were decreased significantly(P<0.01). Conclusion Chinese herbal compound Yitangkang could protect kidney of diabetic nephropathy rats, and the mechanism is related to its loweirng renal expression of RAGEs mRNA, RAGEs and AGEs content.
7.The nutrient metabolism under cancer-bearing state
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(05):-
Malnutrition is a common problem in cancer and cancer cachexia is always present in advanced stage, which is responsible for poor prognosis. The mechanism of malnutrition and cancer cachexia has not been well understood. The major metabolism is change of glucose composing rate, glocongenesis and glycolysis to lactate increased, fat mobilization and oxidation accelerated and protein synthesis decreased.
8.THE STUDIES OF HISTOCHEMISTRY AND ELECTRON-MICROSCOPIC CYTOCHEMISTRY ON SDH AND LDH IN THE MYOCARDIUM OF EXPERIMENTAL ANOXIC MICE
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
With the methods of light microscopic histochemistry and electron-microscopic cytochemistry, we studied the changes of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and succinic dehydrogenase (SDH) in the anoxic myocardium of the mice; to which normal saline (INSAM group) or 10% aqueous extract of Ginsengradix rubra (IGRAM group) was injected before the anoxic experiment. The results were as follows:Ⅰ. The Light Microscopic Study:1. In the myocardial sections of the INSAM group, the reaction of SDH of myofibrillae are variegated and the fibrillae vary in thickness. Granular mitochondria are clearly stained and arranged in alignment in the intermyofibrillar spaces. The intercalated discs fail to be stained and their spaces widen. In the IGRAM group, the reactions of SDH are similar to that of the normal control. The enzyme reaction product in the myofibrillae appear as homogeneous diffuse blue precipitate of formazan, the cross striations of myofibrillae are clear and strings of mitochondria are visible.2. The reactions of LDH in the INSAM group reveals that myofibrillar staining is also lost in a length of myofibrilla, strings of mitochondria are clearly stained. The reaction in the IGRAM group is similar to that of the normal control. In the myofibrillae there is a homogenous continuous violet precipitate of formazan.Ⅱ. The Electron-Microscopic Study:1. The reaction of SDH in the INSAM group shows that the enzyme activity in the mitochondrial inner membrane and the cristae is stronger than that of the normal control. The increased activity is represented by the increase of electronic density or darkening and thickening of the membranes. However, the activity in the IGRAM group is simillar to that of the normal control but weaker in reaction.2. The reaction of LDH in the INSAM group reveals that the enzyme activity exhibited by membrane darkening is obviously stronger than that of the normal control but in the IGRAM group it shows clearly a weaker reaction. The results mentioned above suggest that Ginsengradix rubra might alleviate the metabolic disturbance caused by myocardial anoxia.
9.Diagnosis and surgical treatment of sacral fracture accompanied by neurological damage
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(18):-
[Objective]To study the diagnosis and treatment of sacral fracture accompanied by neurological damage.[Method]Twelve patients with sacral fracture accompanied by nerve injuries were treated and analyzed during 1999 to 2004,including 9 males and 3 females. Final diagnosis was given according to the evaluation of physical examination,X-ray,CT and MRI examinations. Dennis classification found 2 cases of I type,6 cases of Ⅱ type and 4 cases of Ⅲ types. The surgical approach of these patients were selected according to the Dennis classification,Type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ were treated with conservative methods, and operations were taken if little symptom was no or a little improved. Posterior approach enlargement for sacral nerve canal, exploration and endoneurolysis on sacral nerve were performed on type Ⅲ as early as possible.Old fracture of type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ with neurologic signs had to be operated early.Conservative and operative treatments were taken 7 and 5 respectively.[Result]After six months to three years following up,two cases of Denis type Ⅰ,six cases of Denis type Ⅱ and one in four Denis type Ⅲ cases were recovered completely. Two cases of Denis Ⅲ were improved significantly while one case was improved a little.[Conclusion]The anatomical position of sacrum is not conspicuous and the symptom caused by neurological damage is too tiny to detect.Carefully physical examination combined with image analysis is necessary to elevate the rate of final diagnosis.Different surgical treatments were used to different type of sacral fracture. Posterior approach enlargement for sacral nerve canal and exploration and endoneurolysis on sacral nerve may be an ideal choice to treat sacral fracture accompanied by neurological damage.Nerves injuries is an critical operation indication for delayed sacral fracture.
10.THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OE RICE GERM ADDITIVE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The nutritional value of rice germ additive was evaluated by biological method. The experiment was divided into four groups: in the first and second groups the rats were fed with 10% and 20% rice germ additive, the third group as a positive control received 1.1% casein additive, and the fourth was rice germ free group. The main nutrients such as protein, fat and carbohydrate contents in the first three groups were basically equal. The experimental results showed that the growth curve and other criteria of the rice germ additive were as same as the 1.1% casein additive group but 10% rice germ group was slightly better than the 20% group, especially the weights of males were increased more rapidly than the females. At the end of the experiment, no significant differences were found among the four tested groups in hemoglobin contents, weights of cerbrum, spleen and thymus. The data indicated that the nutritional effect of 10% rice germ additive was comparable to 1.1% casein additive. So the rice germ may be acceptable as a new potential source of protein, vitamin and mineral for human and animal foods.
