Objective:To observe the impact of compound glycyrrhizin combined with triamcinolone acetonide on clinical effects and immune function in the patients with oral lichen planus ( OLP) . Methods:Totally 100 patients with OLP were randomly divided into the control group (50 cases) and the study group (50 cases). The control group was locally injected with triamcinolone acetonide, and the study group was treated with compound glycyrrhizin tablets additionally. The treatment course was 4 weeks. Visual analogue scale ( VAS) and REU scoring system were used to assess pain and symptoms of OLP, the clinical effects and cellular immune function were compared, and the adverse reactions were recorded as well. Results:After the treatment, the VAS score and REU score respec-tively lower than those for the control group, and there were differents between the two groups (P<0. 05). The total effective rate was 84. 0% in the study group, which was higher than that in the control group (66. 0%) (P<0. 05). The percentage of CD3+ and CD4+ cells was increased, that of CD19+ cells and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ were decreased, and there were significant differences be-tween the two groups (P<0. 05). The adverse reactions in both groups were mild. Conclusion:Compound glycyrrhizin combined with triamcinolone acetonide is effective for OLP and can improve the immune function in the patients.

To compare the effectiveness and safety of spinal versus general anesthesia for arthroplasty with respect to deep vein thrombosis(DVT),pulmonary embolism (PE) and epidural hematoma.Randomized controlled trials involving spinal and general anesthesia for arthroplasty were searched.Quality assessment were analyzed according to the Cochrane Collaboration's rule.A total of 12 trials involving 1023 participants met the inclusion criteria,Meta-analyses showed that spinal anesthesia may reduce the incidence of DVT or PE after arthroplagty without anticoagulant.There is no difference in the incidence of DVT and PE when anticoagulant is used.Whether anticoagulant was used or not,no epidural hematoma was observed after using the two anesthesia methods.

Objective To compare iso-osmolar iodixanol and low-osmolar iohexol for the incidence of contrast- induced nephropathy(CIN) in patients with chronic congestive heart failure undergoing coronary interventional therapy. Methods The study included 220 consecutive patients with chronic congestive heart failure and undergoing coronary angiography (CAG) with or without percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) bewteen Janurary 2015 and May 2016. Study participants were divided into two groups by random digits table:iso-osmolar group (110 patients) and low-osmolar group (110 patients). The patients in iso-osmolar group were given iodixanol, and the patients in low-osmolar group were given iohexol. Serum creatinine (SCr), glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and cystatin C (CysC) were detected before the procedure and on the first, third day after the procedure. Then, the incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) in two groups within 72 h of the procedure were observed and compared. Results The levels of SCr, GFR, CysC before operation had no significant differences (P>0.05). The levels of SCr in two groups on the first day after operation were increased, but there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05). On the first day after operation, the level of GFR in iso-osmolar group was higher than that in low-osmolar group, the level of CysC in iso-osmolar group was lower than that in low-osmolar group, and there were significant differences (P<0.05). On the third day after operation, the level of GFR in iso-osmolar group was higher than that in low-osmolar group, the level of CysC in iso-osmolar group was lower than that in low-osmolar group, and there were significant differences (P<0.01). The overall incidence of CIN was 20.9%(46/220). The incidence of CIN in low-osmolar group was 29.1%(32/110), in iso-osmolar group was 12.7%(14/110), and there was significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusions In chronic congestive heart failure patients undergoing coronary interventional therapy, the iso-osmolar contrast iodixanol is associated with a lower incidence of CIN compared with low-osmolar iohexol.

OBJECTIVE:To detect the expressions of five gastric cancer cell metastasis associated genes induced by arsenic trioxide METHODS:The expressions of CD44,P53,nm23,H-ras,PCNA induced by arsenic trioxide were examined by immunohistochemistry method RESULTS:Arsenic trioxide induced the decrease of the expressions of CD44,P53,PCNA in gastric cancer cells;the expressions of nm23 and H-ras were not changed by As2 O 3 CONCLUSION:It is tentatively proved that the antineoplastic action of As2 O 3 may be related to the down-regulation of CD44,P53 and PCNA

Objective To investigate haemodynamic change during hemodialysis and analyze effects of cardiac index (CI) on hemodynamic parameters and associated influencing factors in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients.Methods Seventy-five patients bearing an arteriovenous fistula (AVF) entered the study.Cardiac output (CO),cardiac index (CI),central blood volume (CBV) and peripheral vascular resistance (PR) were determined by ultrasound dilution technique at the end of 1 hour,2 hours and 3 hours of dialysis.AVF blood flow (Qa) was also measured with the same device before haemodynamic parameters investigation.Results Mean age of patients was (55.84 ±12.39) years old (range 21-81 years) and 43 patients (57.3％) were female.Systolic arterial pressure,SV,CO,CI and CBV were significantly declined and no significant change for diastolic arterial pressure and heart rates at the end of 2 hour and 3 hour hemodialysis,whereas PR was increased gradually during hemodialysis.Patients were divided into there groups with CI less than 2.5 L·min 1·(m2)-1,2.5-4.2 L·min-1·(m2)-1 and more than 4.2 L·min-1 ·(m2)-1 at the end of 1 hour dialysis.Statistically significant decreasing SV,CO and increasing PR were detected in patients with CI＜2.5 L·min-1· (m2)-1 and 2.5-4.2 L· min-1· (m2)-1,compared with CI＞4.2 L·min-1· (m2)-1 group (P＜0.01).The hemodynamic change was the most obvious in the group of CI less than 2.5 L· min-1· (m2) 1,and no significant changes happened in CI＞4.2 L·min-1 ·(m2)-1 group.Some factors were found to be associated to CI values.Qa and systolic arterial pressure had positive relationship with CI,while age and diabetes had negative relationship with CI.Conclusions Systolic arterial pressure,CO,CI and CBV decrease and PR increases during hemodialysis.Obvious change occurs when CI is less than 2.5 L·min-1· (m2)-1.CI is associated with Qa,systolic arterial pressure,age and diabetes.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of propofol on endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression in thoracic aorta of hypertensive rats.MethodsHealthy SD rats of both sexes weighing 240-280 g were used in this study.Hypertension was induced by subcutaneous deoxycorticosterone 25 mg/kg twice a week for consecutive 7 weeks.Sixty-four hypertensive rats were randomly divided into four groups (n ＝ 16 each):hypertension group (group H),low,medium and high dose propofol group ( groups P1,P2,P3 ).Groups P1,P2 and P3 received infusion of propofol at a rate of 20,30 and 40 mg* kg- 1 · h- 1 for 3 h respectively,while group H received equal volume normal saline instead of propofol.Mean arterial pressure (MAP) was monitored and recorded before,1 h and 3 h after the start of propofol or normal saline infusion.All animals were sacrificed at 3 h of intravenous administration.Blood samples were collected by taking out the eyeballs for determination of serum NO concentrations by nitrate reductase method.The expression of eNOS mRNA,iNOS mBNA was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.The expression of eNOS and iNOS protein was determined by Western blot.ResultsCompared to group H,MAP was decreased significantly,the serum NO concentrations were increased significantly,the expression of eNOS mRNA and protein in thoracic aorta was up-regulated,and the expression of iNOS mRNA and protein in thoracic aorta was down-regulated in a dose-dependent manner in groups P1,P2 and P3 ( P < 0.05 or 0.01 ).ConclusionPropofol can down-regulate iNOS expression and up-regudate eNOS expression in endothelial cells of thoracic aorta and promote NO release in hypertensive rats,Which is the mechanism of propofol decreasing pressure.

Objective To investigate Paragonimus westermani infection in the intermediate hosts and animal reservoivs in Jiangxi Province. \ Methods\ Two forest farms in Jingan and Wanzai Counties and one town in Yushan County of Jiangxi Province were selected as pilots for epidemiological and retrospective survey. The intermediate hosts (snails, crabs) and reservoir hosts(cat, dog, civet cat, wildcat, etc.) were collected and examined. Data on the changes of ecological environment and people's behaviors were also collected. \ Results \ The average infection rate in Semisulcospira libertina and Sinopotamon spp. was 0\^21% and 54\^3% respectively, and that of reservoir hosts was 5\^6%. Compared with those in 20 years ago, the infection rate in Sinopotamon spp. decreased considerably. \{Conclusion\}\ The three areas are still endemic for P.westermani with lower prevalence than before possibly due to the change of ecological environment.

Objective To establish a porcine model of liver failure after different percent hepatectomy.Methods The porcine models of liver failure 75%,85%,95% hepatectomy were developed and the living conditions and survival time were recorded.The blood samples of pre-surgery,post-hepatectomy d1,d3,d5 and post-hepatectomy 1 week,2 weeks,and 3 weeks were collected for hepatic function analysis.Histological examination of liver tissues was performed using HE staining.Liver injury histology was interpreted and scored in the terminal samples.Results The average survival time of pigs with post-hepatectomy liver failure after 75%,85%,95% hepatectomy was 19.0±5.6 days,17.3±5.5 days,1.3±1.5 days,respectively.Their pathological scores were 5.67±0.52,8.17±0.82 and 8.50±0.71,respectively.With the increase of percent hepatic resection,the incidence of hepatic failure was increasing.ALT,AST,ALP,LDH and TBA were dramatically increased in the pigs after 85% hepatectomy.Conclusions The pig model of acute liver failure by 85% hepatectomy is successfully established,which can cause typical acute liver failure in Bama miniature pigs.
