Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(10):-
Objective To determine the efficacy and safety of hysteroscopic resection with dipolar electrodes for submucous myoma of the uterus. Methods By hysteroscopy combined with B-ultrasonography,totally 456 cases of submucous myoma of the uterus were confirmed in our hospital from January 1998 to December 2007. Among the patients,241 cases showed type 0,138 patients were type Ⅰ,and 77 cases were type Ⅱ. In 341 of the cases, the myoma sized 1.0 to 2.0 in diameter,86 cases from 2.1 to 4.0 in diameter, and the other 29 cases had the myoma ranged from 4.1 to 6.0 cm in diameter. Hysteroscopic resection with dipolar electrodes were performed on all the cases, among which microelectrode was used in 341 patients, and ring electrode was employed in 115 cases. Results The operation time ranged from 9 to 55 min with a mean of (32.9?16.7) min. The removed tissues weighed (30.2?8.2) g in average (ranged from 5 to 55 g). During the operation, the patients had 5 to 100 ml blood loss [mean,(48.1?12.7) ml]. No complications occurred during and after the operation. The patients were followed up for three months, during which 431 (94.5%) showed reduced menstruation and decreased menstrual blood loss, only 5 patients (1.1%,all were type Ⅱ) had residual myoma. In this series, totally 42 patients wished pregnancy,15 of them became pregnant in 24 months postoperation. After the treatment, anemia was corrected in 206 patients with the level of Hb increased to a normal range;before the operation,81 patients had menstrual pain,42 of them were relieved and 19 were improved by the operation, while the other 20 showed no changes in the symptoms. Conclusion Hysteroscopic resection with dipolar electrodes is safe and effective for uterine submucous myoma.

Abstract: Objective To analyze the impact of the flood disaster on the distribution of Oncomelania snails in 2020 in Wuhu City, to provide scientific basis for formulating the "14th Five-Year Plan" for schistosomiasis control and precise prevention and control measures in Wuhu City. Methods Systematic sampling combined with environmental spot check was used to investigate the distribution of snails in the historical snail's environment, existing snail's environment and suspected snail's environment in Wuhu City. The collected snails were crushed and examined by microscope to understand the death and life of snails and the infection of Schistosoma japonicum, and the density of live snails and other indicators were counted. Results The historical area of snails was 14 475.24 hm2 in Wuhu City, and the existing area of snails was 4 588.72 hm2, including 4 210.32 hm2 for lake type and 378.40 hm2 for hill type snails. The average occurrence rate of live snails was 14.59%, and the average density of live snails was 0.50 snails/0.1 m2 in Wuhu City. There were 2 745 snail breeding environments, of which 491 were lake type and 2 254 are hill type, accounting for 17.89% and 82.11% respectively. The existing snail area was mainly distributed in the beaches and ditches, accounting for 92.51% and 6.29% of the existing snail area respectively. Some snails were distributed in ponds, paddy fields and other environments. Among all the historical snail habitats, the majority were class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ environments (which still have the basic conditions for snail breeding at present), with a total of 1 739 sites (blocks), accounting for 63.35% of the total environment. No schistosomiasis infected snails have been found, and the newly discovered and recovered snails cover an area of 268.21 hm2 in Wuhu City. Conclusions The distribution of snails is extensive in Wuhu City, and snails are mostly distributed in beaches, which are vulnerable to the impact of flood disasters. The spread of Oncomelania snails is found in 30 marshlands in 3 counties in this survey. It is necessary to continue to strengthen snail monitoring after disasters, and take class Ⅱ and class Ⅲ environments as key areas for snail monitoring, so as to find, identify and evaluate the risk of schistosomiasis transmission as soon as possible, to avoid or reduce the impact of flood disasters on the process of schistosomiasis control, and promote the process of schistosomiasis elimination.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2015;(3):228-232
Objective To evaluate the pelvic floor function in post-hysterectomy patients. Methods Transperineal pelvic ultrasound was used to observe the pelvic organs in post- hysterectomy patients, and parameters of pelvic floor were measured. Taking the inferior margin of public symphysis as the reference plane, the shape and motion of the proximal urethra and bladder neck were observed at rest and on maximum Valsalva maneuver. Bladder neck-symphyseal distance(BSD) and retrovesical angle were measured. And the bladder neck descent(BND),urethral rotation angle and the rotation angle of the bladder neck were also calculated. Interclass correlation coefficients were calculated to evaluate the consistency of data. Results At rest, the BSD and retrovesical angle were (-2.73±0.37)cm and (119.00±22.40)°, while on maximum Valsalva maneuver was (-0.25±0.67)cm and (114.74±21.50)°,respectively. BND was (2.46±0.59)cm,the urethral rotation angle and the rotation angle of the bladder neck was (70.68±19.91)° and (60.81±17.34) °,respectively. Combined with pelvic ultrasound and clinical manifestations,29 cases of pelvic floor dysfunction after hysterectomy were diagnosed (58.00%, 5 cases of stress urinary incontinence, 8 cases of proctoptoma and 16 cases of bladder prolapse). The consistency was very high in measuring BNS, retrovesical angle at rest and on maximum Valsalva maneuver and BND by different observers. The interclass coefficient was 0.90,0.89,0.91,0.88,0.92,respectively. And the interclass coefficient of urethral rotation angle and the rotation angle of the bladder neck was 0.79, 0.88,respectively. These results showed a good interobserver agreement. Conclusion Transperineal pelvic ultrasound is a simple, reproducible and noninvasive imaging method, which can reveal the position and function of female pelvic organ dynamically and evaluate postoperative pelvic floor function.
