2.Lignan glycosides from Saussurea japonica and rules for substituted effects on ~(13)CNMR chemical shifts of (+)-pinoresinol and (+)-lariciresinol
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Object To isolate and identify the chemical constituents of Saussurea japonica (Thunb.) DC. and to obtain some rules of chemical shift effects on hydroxylation and O-glycosylation. Methods The constituents were isolated by silica gel column chromatography and HPLC (RP-18), and their structures were elucidated through spectroscopic analysis (NMR and FABMS). The rules were obtained by comparison with those of known analogous lignans. Results Three lignan glycosides were isolated and identifiedcas (+)-1-hydroxypinoresinol-4″-?-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅵ), (+)-lariciresinol-4-?-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅷ), and (+)-1-lariciresinol-4′-?-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅸ), as well as the rules for effects of the hydroxy group at C-1 (upshift about ??-4.2) and O-glucosylation (downshift about ??+3.0) on 13CNMR chemical shifts of (+)-pinoresinol and (+)-lariciresinol. Conclusion All these compounds were obtained from the plants of Saussurea DC. for the first time and the rules should be as some important evidences to assign the position of hydroxylation and glycosylation.
3.Value of serum procalcitonin in early diagnosis of sepsis caused by different pathogenic bacteria infection and its clinical study
Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(12):1626-1628
Objective To investigate the clinical value of serum procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),white blood cell count(WBC)and neutrophil percentage(NEU%)in the early diagnosis of sepsis caused by different pathogenic bacteria infection to provide a risk assessment for sepsis patients. Methods The clinical data of 117 patients with sepsis caused by bloodstream infection in the intensive care unit(ICU)of our hospital from Oct.2013 to Oct.2015 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were performed blood culture before antibiotics use and divided into the G+ bacteria group and G-bacteria group according to the results of blood culture.PCT,hs-CRP,WBC and NEU% were detected in all cases. The differences in the detection results between the two groups were analyzed and the correlation between PCT with APACHE-Ⅱ and SOFA scores was evaluated. Results Among 117 cases of sepsis,78 cases were in the G+ bacteria group and 39 cases were in the G-bacteria group;compared with the G+ bacteria group,PCT in the G-bacteria group had obvious change and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the detection results of hs-CRP,WBC and NEU in the G-group had little change(P>0.05);the serum PCT level was positively correlated with the SOFA score in the G-bacteria group(r=0.536,P<0.05),but had no correlation with the APACHE-Ⅱ score(P>0.05);serum PCT level had no correlation with the APACHE-Ⅱ score and SOFA score in the G+ bacteria group(P>0.05).Conclusion PCT has some value in the early differential diagnosis and prognosis of sepsis caused by different pathogens, and it is more sensitive to G-bacteria.
4.Effects of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae on the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells induced by plateletderived growth factor
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(08):-
ObjectiveTo determine the effects of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae (RSM) on the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(SMC) induced by plateletderived growth factor(PDGF).MethodsRat arterial SMC cultured in vitro were divided into the control group, RSM group (subdivided into 3 concentration groups:2.0mg/ml, 0.4mg/ml and 0.08mg/ml),PDGF group(10ng/ml) and PDGF(10ng/ml) plus RSM (the 3 concentrations the as the same as above) group. The number of SMC and 3HTdR incorporation of SMC were measured. Results PDGF induced the increases of the number of SMC and 3HTdR incorporation of SMC significantly, which were as 3fold and 2.5fold as those of the basic situation respectively. RSM,which was dosedependent, inhibited the increase of the number of SMC and 3HTdR incorporation of SMC in the basic and PDGF stimulated situations . ConclusionsRSM may inhibit SMC proliferation in the basic and PDGF stimulated situations.
5.The malignant tumor of appendix
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1994;0(05):-
From 1952 to 1990, 21 cases of malignant tumor of the appendix, including 14 cases of carcinoid tumor of appendix, 4 cases of appendix adenocarcinoma, 2 cases of appendix lymposarcoma and 1 case of appendix cystocarcinoma, were treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College Among these 21 patients, 16 underwent appendectomy alone, 5 underwent appendectomy first and a right hemicolectomy was performed on later All of the 21 patients were followed up for 5~10 years, the survival rate was 90 5% and 90 5% respectively So if a malignant tumor of the appendix was suspected, a biopsy during operation should be done to determine the pathological type If the diagnosis was clear, the choice of operation mode must be made according to the size and the pathological type of the tumor In selective patient, a right hemicolectomy must be performed on

Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(9):650-654
Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) are critical effectors which play important roles both in anti-tumor and anti-virus immune responses.Through T cell receptors(TCRs),CTLs can specifically recognize MHC- Ⅰ -peptides complexes presented on the surface of target cells, and then release biological substances such as perforin and granzymes into the target cells and dissolve them.Since the significant potential value of CTLs,more and more people are focusing on its basic and appliedstudies. Most researches are about the transformation of the TCR gene. With the development of molecular biology, cloning and transduction of TCR gene have been more mature.Researchers are finding ways to ensure that TCR gene expresses efficiently and assemble correctly.
8.Progress on cervical muscle strength and soft tissue stiffness testing.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2015;28(8):771-775
Biomechanical evaluation of neck muscles has important significance in the diagnosis and treatment for cervical spondylosis, the neck muscle strength and soft tissue stiffness test is two aspects of biomechanical testing. Isometric muscle testing operation is relatively simple, the cost is lower, which can evaluate the muscle force below grade 3. However, isokinetic muscle strength testing can assess the muscle strength of joint motion in any position. It is hard to distinguish stiffness difference in different soft tissues when the load-displacement curve is used to evaluate the local soft tissue stiffness. Elasticity imaging technique can not only show the elastic differences of different tissues by images, but also quantify the elastic modulus of subcutaneous tissues and muscles respectively. Nevertheless, it is difficult to observe the flexibility of the cervical spine by means of the analysis of the whole neck stiffness. In a word, a variety of test method will conduce not only the biomechanical evaluation of neck muscles, but also making an effective biomechanics mathematical model of neck muscles. Besides, isokinetic muscle testing and the elasticity imaging technology still need further validation and optimization before they are better applied to neck muscles biomechanical testing.
