The ancient medical classics were retrieved to explore narrative on acupoints. And the relevant content of legal calendar in Shiji (Historical Records) and Hanshu (History of the Former Han Dynasty) were taken as a reference. The result showed that the total number of acu-points were based on the number of 365 days of a year. And the corrupts can be restored with the theory of numerology. The 59 heat point originated from the phase of moon, while the 57 water points originated from the number or year related with diasters. Although acupoints are considered to be related with numerology, the recognition of hot points and water points are held to be associated with experiential points in clinic.

Good palatability of pediatric drugs improves the accuracy of dosing and adherence to dosing regimens. Many active pharmaceutical ingredients have an undesirable taste, so effective taste masking methods need to be developed to improve the palatability of pediatric medicines. This article mainly introduces the commonly taste masking techniques and taste evaluation methods, and puts forward suggestions on the concerns and general principles of the pharmaceutical evaluation of taste masking effects based on cases, in order to provide reference for the development of drug taste masking technology in children.

A questionnaire survey on awareness of child health management was conducted in 238 family members ( 236 were parents) of children aged 0 - 36 months; among whom 92 of children aged 0 to 6 months,85 of children aged 7 to 12 months,33 of children aged 13 to 18 months,16 of children aged 19 to 24 months and 12 of children aged 24 to 36 months.52.1％ of the surveyees had college education level.The awareness about medical examination in last half year in female subjects was higher than males ( P ＜ 0.05).There were no differences in other health management knowledge.The results showed that the average times of medical examination was 2.8 ± 1.9 in last half year; the age for supplement of meat in food was 7.4 ± 2.4 mouths; supplement of meat,animal liver and eggs was more than 7 time a week.The subjects with college education or above paid more attention to the children's growth,risk for rickets and anemia than other peoples.Pure breast feeding accounted for only 37.0％ (88/238).The study indicates that strengthening the knowledge and awareness is necessary to improve the children health management.

Objective To observe the anti- inflammation and analgesic action and anti- urarthritis effect of modified Simiao prescription with polysaccharide removal and thus to screen the effective anti- gout components from modified Simiao prescription. Methods Mouse acetic- acid- induced twisting experiment, mouse xylene- induced auricular swelling experiment, and rat sodium- urate- induced pedal swelling experiment were carried out in this study. Results After the removal of polysaccharides, modified Simiao prescription still kept obvious anti- inflammation and analgesic action and in a dose- effect manner. Conclusion Polysaccharides removal has no influence on the anti- inflammation and analgesic action of modified Simiao prescription .

Caveolae are specialized lipid rafts that form flask-shaped invaginations of the plasma membrane. Many researches show that caveolae are involved in cell signaling and transport. Caveolin-1 is the major coat protein essential for the formation of caveolae. Recently, several reports indicated that the other caveolae-associated proteins, Cavins, are required for caveola formation and organization. It's worth noting that Cavin-1 could cooperate with Caveolin-1 to accommodate the structural integrity and function of caveolae. Here, we reviewed that the relationship between Cavins and Caveolins and explore the role of them in regulating caveolae.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the role of perfusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging ( PWMRI ) in distinguishing brain glioma recurrence for postoperative radiotherapy patients.Methods Thirty-five patients with suggested recurrent brain glioma (20 true,15 false) were examined by conventional MRI and PWMRI.Regions of interests (ROI) were manually drawn in contrast-enhancing lesion,surround edema region and normal white matter of contra-lateral brain on regional cerebral blood volume (rCBV) images.rCBV values of ROI and rCBVmax were measured,the standardized rCBV ratios were calculated,The mean rCBVmax ratio were compared between two lesion types with group t-test.The rCBVmax ratios of contrastenhancing regions was analyzed by the receiver operating characteristic curve.ResultsThe mean rCBVmax ratio of contrast-enhancing lesion in tumor recurrence was higher than those in non tumor recurrence (4.36vs 1.28,t =3.00,P =0.005 ).The mean rCBVmax of edema regions in tumor recurrence was also higher than those in non tumor recurrence ( 1.79 vs 0.85,t =2.41,P =0.026).Four patients with recurrent tumor and three with non tumor recurrence were wrong diagnosed when set the recurrent tumor rCBVmax ratio ＞2.15.The diagnostic sensitivity,specificity and accuracy for recurrent tumor by PWMRI were 80％respectively.Conclusion PWMRI examination is a useful method for distinguishing brain glioma recurrence.

Objective In this study we discussed the training method for skills of evidence-based nursing(EBN)for nurses in surgical department.Methods We selected 43 nurses in two surgical department as training objects.The trainging procedure was established according to the four steps of evidencebased nursing,putting forward questions,searching for evidences,making observations and applying evidence-based nursing.The nurses were trained according to the procedure.The skills of EBN,ability of obtaining information and satisfaction degree of nurses was evaluated after training.Results The skills of EBN and the ability of obtaining information after training Was statistically different from those before training(P ＜0.01).95% nurses considered that their EBN ability was improved after training. Conclusions The skills of EBN and the ability of obtaining information increased after EBN training in nurses of surgical department.This had instructive significance for the application of evidence-based nureing.

Objective To study the biological characteristics of dendritic cells (DCs) derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients diagnosed with syphilis. Methods PBMCs were isolated from 16 patients clinically and serologically diagnosed with syphilis, and from 16 healthy human controls, then cultured with GM-CSF and IL-4. On day 10, the monocyte-derived dendritic cells (MoDCs)of the patients and controls were collected and subjected to the detection of surface molecules by flow cytometry; TpN17 was used to stimulate MoDCs from the controls, the expression of phosphorylated ERK was detected by Westem blotting 20 minutes following the stimulation. Results The positivity rate of CD80 was significantly increased in the patients with syphilis than that in the controls (51.90% vs 33.67,P ＜ 0.05), while no significant difference was observed in the expressions of CD83, CD86 or HLA-DR be tween the two groups (16.53% vs 15.99%, 66.13% vs 59.32%, 91.29% vs 90.51%, all P 0.05). The ex pressions of CD80 and CD83 on the surface of MoDCs were enhanced in a dose-dependent manner after ex-posure to TpN17. The expression of cytoplasmic phosphorylated ERK was observed in MoDC stimulated by TpN17, but not in those without the treatment. Conclusions Antigenic stimulation with Treponema pal-lidum may be a reason for phenotypic abnormality of MoDCs derived from patients with syphilis. TpN17 may stimulate the maturation of DCs through the ERK signal transduction pathway.
